His Astronomical contract will have 'breach' conditions, like any contract. So I would demote him. There's nothing in a contract that says you cannot be demoted or made to play for the reserves... It would also be a feeder system for Managers, Coaches, Physios etc not just players. If it's proven in other leagues and FFP clamps down hard, this could become a reality as 'investment' in facilities and youth is exempt from FFP.. Yup agree 100% in some other posts you may have seen me saying exactly that.. What is our style, our shape etc - we are a collection of players thrown on a pitch, that doesn't make a team.
