Finally - the dude gets some game time, we win and people aren't slating the fuck out of him He should have been playing for ages now - you cannot improve and learn without playing - training only gives half the story. This infatuation with height is crazy - it's well proven that smaller players with a good leap can cope with tall players. What we need is overlapping full backs, to bolster the attack, provide some natural width and give balance to our attacking shape. I don't think the lad has been given a fair chance - especially with all of the other turmoil going on! As for Ivanovic - I hope he doesn't automatically slot back in - if he does - I will no longer be able to contain my annoyance.

Ahh that's better a win is a win - the three points care little how they were earnt. Fair play to those backing Jose - he can never question loyalty at this club. Agreed - at first I thought they had fucked up and left this seasons VT on slow and last years on normal speed. The level of intensity was shocking. I know the pre-season was bad - but could it account for that level of performance drop? If so - then we need to really get a grip on where we travel...
