  1. Dude just leave it You don't think Hazard is great, others do - go post in another thread and stop regurgitating pointless debates. Like I said to you earlier - I hope I never have to witness Eden in the starting 11 for one of our rivals (PL or CL) as we will live to regret it. I have had frustrating times with him as a player, because I set unrealistic expectations, but currently he's one of only a few bright stars in our otherwise dull as dishwasher squad...
  2. Possibly - they know if they don't perform to an unrealistic level they will continue to rot in the reserves Sometimes doing your job can be fun - but Mou seems to suck all of the life and happiness out of everything...
  3. Been summoned to another meeting?
  4. I'm just using RLC as the example. People say it's disrespectful to bash Mou on things - my point is that Mou made these statements and to call him out on them is not disrespectful. If he didn't set the expectation, nobody would be questioning it as much. Again, it's Mou's short term thinking, he will say anything to sound smart at that precise minute, but long term it makes him look an idiot (most press conferences) It's just yet another reason I want a change (not Rodgers, what was I drinking last night) but Hiddink for me - just somebody to come in, calm the situation down, play a balanced team - grab a few wins and then rebuild in the summer with our 'first choice' manager (whoever that will be!)
  5. Well he shouldn't make promises he cannot keep! HE said RLC was ready and would play. But like the majority of things Mourinho says it's all bollox. He's a talker not a doer...
  6. Lol ? Yeah - always middle ground somewhere
  7. Yeah I think I need to stop drinking if I think Rodgers is OK as an interim!
  8. It would be amazing and I would love it I'm not being critical - just debating. There's a big step from knowing and seeing to doing, how many times have you seen a number two fail - they know the players, the club etc and then it still doesn't work out for them. I say it's probably too early - maybe another year or two yet. But, life is a risk and if he can, he should. Would be great to have an English manager again
  9. He has been a frustrating figure at times in a Chelsea shirt I still think his best position is in the middle. This season he has added a left shoulder drop and a wicked free kick! I have always liked his energy. Overall a decent player - the cost was there to snatch him from the Spuds - those bellends pushed his price up as they love overpaying
  10. I dunno - I always think the lower league guys will struggle with the ego's in the bigger teams. I think that aspect is probably the hardest to learn and was definitely the undoing of AVB everywhere he went It's a tough one... But older managers seem to be able to navigate the players better.
  11. I'm considering it Please someone talk me out of it Hiddink is my first choice despite his fall from grace, he gave me some great times as a Chelsea fan
  12. It is a quandary I just don't know who else can come in and do a job. I think it's only fair if the board after backing him keep Mou until the end of the season - but how many more meltdowns are we going to see. Now the FA are handing out stadium bans - I can see them liking it, as Jose is a repeat offender. Such a ridiculous situation and proof that nightmares can happen at any time Right now it feels like you've scored two hot chicks, hit their apartment and found out they ain't really chicks
  13. I take it you mean : "know nothing" Ironic really
  14. I laughed so much when I read this initially, but after thinking about it long and hard - he would be OK as an interim. Hazard = Suarez (ish) Willian = Sturridge (ish) JT = Gerrard (ish) He managed to get Loserpool pretty close with a team on paper at least equal or worse than our current squad. At least he tries to play attacking dynamic football. I'm sure he would have also learnt from that mistake against us where he just needed a draw. I dunno though - there must be better options I mean jesus I even praised the FSW during his tenure as he delivered a trophy! I would never have thought that! Somebody could have given me an infinite number of guesses and praising the FSW would have been nowhere on the radar!
  15. I think that's the part that has lost me most respect for him. His absolute failure to admit any problem, and constant blaming of everything else. Just man up and take it on the chin - life is about balance, very few people in life experience all ups. And the fact of having a down, makes you appreciate the ups. I would have felt more confident if he'd have taken ownership of the problems.
  16. This poll is definitely different to the last one Right now 61 = new manager 48 = keep Jose 8 = don't know Even assuming a 100% swing in favour of don't knows to Keep - there is still a majority saying new manager. I guess patience is wearing thin... Pyrrhic victory springs to mind - when considering the current incumbent...
  17. Why not say that then - instead of inferring that Bosnian Blue is not a 'proper' fan and that Starman is a troll?
  18. Just ignore posts like that mate - don't get sucked into it. You made valid points.
  19. no need to go that far I don't believe we will go down - but a few wins from those below us and it could start to get very shit. Hopefully we will make the Top 8.
  20. I find the arrogance that we won't be dragged into a relegation battle pretty disturbing Our form is atrocious What right do we have not to get relegated? I know I will be ridiculed for this but we have steadily dropped down the table - how low do we have to sink, before it becomes an option?
  21. The commercial elements will play a big part Up until now the club was stable at the top of the league and always had CL and associated revenues. The books were on the way to being balanced and sustainable, stadium expansion happening and now this 16th, chances of CL gone and barring an absolute miracle no chance of winning it. This will hurt the club financially. However, it could force us to use our younger players and be more sustainable in the long run. It's a delicate position... I can imagine some long hard discussions in the board room. Heart says one thing, Head says another and wallet further complicates the matter!
  22. Well said that man!!! I know we have argued in the past - but 100% back that statement. I think it's probably just emotions though - I think Capello is also a bad choice lol ?
  23. Nice post - yes we have come a long way! We should never forget that Wish we had Jimmy and Eidur up front - loved those two! Or even Flo as Super sub
  24. I hope I never have to witness him leaving and your point being proved wrong. That would be a sad day indeed. This guy is a class player and he would start in any team. Yes he looks worse this season - but apart from Willian name one other player that has shone? Hazard has a minimum of 2-3 players around him - that's space his team mates should be exploiting and hence his initial tendency to play a one-two - he can eliminate players quickly (like how our midfield is bypassed by a single pass) We are nowhere near playing to his strengths.
  25. I think it's almost worse for Mourinho as he normally loses so few a season So those losses look much worse As fans under Mou we become used to 'not losing' so it always feels worse That's what has been driving me mad - trying to separate my emotions from rational thought and it's hard On the balance though - I think a change might be good.
