as i said Fabregas started off great at Barca and was scoring goals and racking up assists for fun so those stats are quite misleading, kind of like Sturridge he was great at the start off the season scoring goals for fun but got worse as the season went on and was just awful at the end of the season. Overall Fabregas was far from amazing last season certainly way below from what Barca would have expected from him.

no i think you guys clearly didn't watch Barca much last season! if you told any proper Barca fan that Cesc was amazing last season they would probably laugh at you.

no i am not! I watched every Barca game last season without fail! and have friends who are proper Barca fans and one who is a season ticket holder, i watched all of Spain's games in the Euro's with them and they were going mad at how well Cesc played for Spain in comparison to how bad he was for Barca! (same how most Chelsea fans felt about Meireles) Alot of Barca fans were even getting annoyed at Pep last season because he kept playing Fabregas, i watched games last season where Fabregas kept mis-controlling the ball, kept making sloppy passes and was just offering nothing. Fabregas had a good run when he first signed then he started playing really poor had Villa been fit then Fabregas would have got even less minutes, next season he has a real fight on his hands to get into the first team with Villa back in the team, he really needs to improve for next season he just wasn't good enough last season.

Haha! no he wasn't! every Barca fan will tell you how poor he was last season! when he first joined he was great but then in the middle of the season he was really poor any barca fan or anyone who watched them play every week will tell you that! as the season went on he improved but still wasn't very impressive overall.

yes he is! Fabregas was terrible for Barca last season! he is very very overrated! Modric is easily the better player imo.

We will sign Modric i am sure of it! Madrid will get Witsel, and Chelsea will come back in for Modric we are just waiting for the right time to pounce and bring him in!

because i have watched him play all last season as i was working in France and saw all of Lille's matches, I'm not judging him on pre-season like some crazy people are! and if he hasn't got a pass available he will dribble to make things happen if he sees a pass he will play it! when he starts playing with Torres every week he will get an understanding with him and because Torres is always making runs something which Lukaku doesn't do you will see Hazard opening up plenty of defenses next season by playing the ball through to Torres rather than trying to dribble.

I 100% agree! our double pivot clearly isn't good enough! for me we really need to just pay the £35-40 Million for Modric as he would improve our team massively! we need someone who can control games from midfield and get the ball to the creative players! Lamps-Mikel just isn't good enough! they are good when we park the bus but when we play attacking football they are absolutely useless!

if you want to talk about actual value then Torres has already repaid that with shirt sales, advertising ect! For Torres to be a good signing he just needs to score goals and win trophies consistently for us! he doesn't need to do anything superhuman like Messi and Ronaldo!

why are you bringing up his price tag??? you said Torres will never be a good signing! if in the next 4 or 5 years Torres scores bucket loads of goals for us and wins bucket loads of trophies for us, of course he will be a good signing! so i dont see how you can say Torres will never be a good singing!
