  1. errr...not even half an hour played somebody with an english stream ?
  2. wow, over all that Torres frenzy i forgot this one. great goal Kalou, just as i turned on
  3. first of all: whats with all this "he is not physical enough" - thing ? Have you actually seen Torres play ? He is musceling defenders like Vidic and Rio away, even Terry, if fully fit. Next topic right away: in the past he didn´t have enough time to recover from his injuries and played through the pain barrier, pushed by Benitez because their simply was no other option. A 60% fit Torres is still better than the rest of the Liverpools striking options. End of. Rafa really ruined enough players, out of a humanistic impetus we should try to sign Nando ! Save a life everyday, like. With Drogba and Anelka in the autumn of their Chelsea carreers Torres is the perfect player to fill the gap between the older strikers and the young guns. He is in the middle, age wise, and if given the time on of the most lethal strikers you can have. He is world class. End of.
  4. No complains about this game. Everton is our bogey team who always seem to rise their game, especially Saha. Getting into the replay, keepin in mind that we are "getting there" again. Delighted for Kalou, well done. Same goes for Ramires, the boy is really showing us why we splashed so much cash for him. Lamps had a quiet game, fair enough. Really annoyed by Drogbas antics today.
  5. Give him some time. No need to rush him into the England sqaud. He can´t be ruined by the press or whatsoever. Patience is the key to this boy.
  6. Delighted for the little lad ! What a superb finish. Good to see all smilie faces back again.
  7. It´s not like he will be the first name of Spurs´ squad sheet with all these options they have in midfield - all being better or even with Pienaar. Idiot. If he wanted to have playtime he should´ve joined us, but he wants money, who doesn´t, so "fair play to de boy" as ´Arry would say.
  8. Provides some strength in depth and can cover up. He is committed, now more than ever after a long time out with injuries. S o... TX, give him a break. Cannot really say if he fits in, can you ?
  9. Hate Monday Night games. I want to watch my team play on Sat/Sun. having the oppertunity to down some beers and not being worried about getting up in the morning. Looks to me like Sky or whoever want to introduce something like Monday Night Football for football.
  10. Nevin, he writes for the Club´s offical website as well, doesn´t he
  11. Kalou on for Anelka...what is going on in Carlos head when it comes to subs ??? Kalou on, why not, but on for Drogba, and why no fucking Studge on ???
  12. Ivan our goal scorer, says it all really.
  13. it is a shit match. if United wins the title this season it is due to the lack of form of the rest of the teams. MU are nowhere near as good as they used to be.
  14. over. I honestly don´t see Carlo much longer in the seat, as much as i want him to stay. Just sad´n pathetic. I just frustrated, so very much. Can´t believe what i see....
  15. there is something terribly wrong with your team, if Heskey can score against you....
  16. please substitute Paulo in the second half, Carlo. He really has a day off
  17. yep Maloudas celebration summed the situation up perfectly !
  18. As much as it pains me to say. I think the way Arsenal is installed is the way to go really. They trust their manager even though they haven´t won much in last half of a decade, but they have a very staible structure: Wengers assistant manager is a guy who knows the club inside out, just as Wilkins, they have a President , Peter Hill-Wood, who totally stands behind the gaffer even in really bad times, and thank god, Arsenal had some really bad times. What i wanted to say is that stability in a Football Club is the main concern, if you ask me. I´d rather see us winning nothing this year than seeing Ancelottis back, because it is not his fault at all that we are in a bad streek in the moment (played well against good teams, but just couldn´t find the net, no real transfer actions, etc.)
  19. Last season we got away with all our problems - too much old players, to few young players coming through, you named it. we got away, winning the Double. This season we are not likely to get away with it, which means the so long discussed general overhaul is about to come. good steps have been taken with selling J. Cole, Deco et all, i don´t mention for a reason. I don´t need to explain to any of you that we should´ve replaced 5 departures with more than 2 new players. If we don´t win anything this season .... fuck ! but it wouldn´t struck with surprise, i mean look at our team, a squad of like what, 19 players compared to an anverage 25 ? Bloody obvious.... i totally back TX with his post, the Churchill quote really hit the nail on the so beloved head. i try to keep calm and be as positive as possible.
  20. maybe he is off to City where he finally gets the funds he demands to build a solid midtable team. and Mancini back to Inter, turning them back into a "not so bad but still not good enough"-team what a bunch of losers
  21. Awwwee isn´t he a smart chap, this Mr. Alex ? Pointing out the obvious trying to wind us up and trying to get under our skins ? Never worked on Ancelotti, mate!
