From a totally biased perspective: he does look rather fed up and isn't showing any happiness in his celebration. He definitely shows his appreciation to the fans because they have been superb to him but yes, there is definitely a feeling of a final goodbye in this picture. Look at it this way, do you think this picture worries Barca fans? 100% it does! If this were to be his goal celebration to for his last goal at the Camp Nou would it be fitting? 100% it would. (kinda reminds me of Drog's celebration after his goal against Villa -his 150th- and he just thanked the fans and showed very little emotion.. Drogba did leave that season)

Messi tends to make players' contribution to the team less. Countless examples: Aguero for Argentina, Suarez now at Barca, Zlatan, Higuain, Neymar struggled last season...

I see what you're saying and its interesting how recently Leo got a tattoo of #10 on his leg. Also, Gallas wasn't Chelsea's most valuable player when Ballack joined. I don't think Eden will be forced to give up the #10 if Leo arrives. Maybe at the start of next season (if Messi joins and Eden is still at Chelsea) maybe then there will be chopping and changing of kit numbers. But if it does happen in January, I think Messi is just gonna have to take the kit that cursed Fernando Torres' career. Even when Cristiano signed for Madrid he had to take #9. LOL I love how when he doesn't score, people say he NEEDS to score!! But when he does score, people still complain about his goals only coming at home... Let him be.. I've said this before and I'll say it again: I'll definitely take his current level of contribution to the team. Even if that means him only scoring in home games (which it obviously won't) Mind you, he has scored in our last 5 home games. If he keeps that up he'll have about 15 league goals... not so bad eh

Well fuck me eh?? Here's me thinking Gary Cahill is our best CB and has been so reliable for us since he's got here. Granted he hasn't been great this season... but MAN are we putting him to the sword after this Newcastle defeat. Yes he did screw up and probably should be out of action for a couple games due to his poor performances of late. But people on here are acting like he's never been a good defender and that he is complete and utter wank. Every single player in the world goes through rough patches. We can't just verbally abuse the fuck out of him and retract all support we had for him because he f'd up. I'm shocked...

He's at 7 goals in all competitions now... If he can bag 3 more before the New Year he's looking at 10 goals in half way through the season. So not as bad as people are making it out to be. I'll definitely take his current level of contribution to the team + a goal/assist here and there. Just looked for a while that he couldn't finish a chance in open play to save his life lol. He can easily get to 20 goals this season. I still feel like he's gonna have a period where he scores a bunch of goals in a couple weeks. Just needs to get to that moment (imagine the wankfest) He usually plays his best football during from December - March. So this might be that "moment". Its obvious he needs a rest tho. Hope he can get through the Newcastle game without too many signs of fatigue and god forbid an injury. A week off for him before the Hull (H) game and then hopefully another week off after that game. Honestly, I'm not too bothered with who starts up front. The only thing I'm concerned with for Wednesday is getting the 3 points and no injuries. As long as we beat Spurs, I'll be a happy guy.... Oh yeah, and I'd love to see Soldado do a Torres-esque open goal miss just for pure banter

Lol it's quite funny that whenever I come on here I see 2 or 3 new (sometimes old) people who say the saaaameee thing... Since the beginning of this season, "...needs to improve finishing" or end product or killer instinct *sigh* Normally, I'm not too bothered... but common, he's a professional football player. I'm sure he knows that he needs to improve his end product/finishing/killer instinct. Especially as a player who knows he has the talent and aspires to be a future Ballon d'or winner. You would think people would understand that.. But, yet, here they are...
