"Doubtful" for the game against City according to Guus, according to Twitter. Any conformation?

Thank you Jose Mourinho. The gift that truly keeps on giving..

I reckon the next few months (before, during and after the Euros) will define this guys career. He needs to take a proper look at himself and realize he's been wank!! For an entire yearr.. He needs to get in the gym and work on his fitness. He's not overweight.. He's just not as sharp as he was last season. Sure dropping a few kgs would help but he needs to find a way to stop getting reoccurring niggly injuries, that hurts a player's sharpness. Eden's sharpness and acceleration is so vital to his game, losing that would make him half the player he is. Also, he needs to realize THIS is his time.. We're all doom and gloom on here because we think every player should develop like Lionel Andres Messi. 38 goals at 21. 47 at 22. 53 at 23. And 4 Ballon d'ors before he reaches what is normally considered the "peak" of a player's career. Generally between 26-29 (give or take). We're even MORE butthurt cuz his main contender (kindaa), Neymar.. Is a year younger and SURELYYY if Ney is playing performing, Eden should too. Hazard is still 25. Next season NEEDS to be him "transition" season. Where he develops immensely as a player. Both in his mentality and physically. He should reach his physical peak in the coming years. Leo Messi was never a ridiculously built guy, but when Enrique (a fitness freak) came to the club, he kicked Messi up the arse and got him into shape. Even Bale went from skinny teen to a ripped beast in the last few seasons. Eden needs this. Nothing drastic but a little bit of a transformation to improve his overall game. Hopefully Conte can help do this. The one thing I've been skeptical about Eden's overall game.. Technique wise is how he strikes the ball. He seems to have become progressively worse since he joined the club. I won't get into detail because I think we've all noticed. You can't just go from scoring screamers in 12/13 to not being able to get the ball off the floor in 15/16. Somethings wrong and it's fucked because he has two good feet. This is the one area of his game -technique wise- that needs to improve immenselyy. The talent he possesses is ridiculous and he's still relatively young. But another year of nothingness and this.. idk, nonchalantness (you know what I mean) where it seems like he doesn't care if he's the worst player in the league or the best in the league, that might just shape the rest of his career. He needs to bounce back! Obviously I'd love it to be at Chelsea, but he's an amazing talent and I would be happy to see him flourish elsewhere if it came down to it.

This video makes him seem half decent uno lool. He had stints of good form, good dribbling, creativity. Nothing near his old form
-
Any chance of us actually getting this fella? He really is an elite football player.
-
I was just thinking about that. We really would have an elite midfield three. IF this does happen, all we need is to sell a few of the dead weight in our club and restructure our defence.
-
I dont know if any of you have seen or have been able to FEEL what this Real Madrid kit feels like but it's a different material to your traditional lightweight football top. It's made out of a cotton mesh and its very very comfortable I think that's what this new kit is gonna feel like..
-
The 3rd kit is awful but I'd definitely buy the home and/or away Classy and retro even..
-
Keep in mind we bought Micheal Ballack at the age of 29. Stayed for 4 seasons.

Who in the squad should stay and who should leave ?

Also, I feel like this season has PROVEN that the whole.. "A team needs a core of players that are BORN winners" and shit like that, is a myth. Look at Leicester.. they have Huth. That's it. He's won a couple PLs with us, and that was a decade ago. Ranieri hasn't been successful in his 28 year managerial career either. And this team, has taken the league by storm. Look at Spurs.. They're all babies lol. We've always associated Tottenham with bottling it season after season.. they still might this season but they have probably been the best/most exciting team to watch this season with their youngsters and their energetic style of play. What these two teams have in common is.. They have a group of players who are managed by a gaffer whose philosophy they believe in. They play as a team. They fight for their manager and they are leading the league. So enough with the whole.. "he knows what it takes to win" bullshit. Please -
Who in the squad should stay and who should leave ?
Mustafa replied to bluephoenix's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
They are shit. In fact they are DOG shit. Here's why they should leave. One by one Ivanovic- He's 32. He's had probably the most pathetic season in his life. He's a fucking diver. He's slow, stupid and over everything.... he fucking screams at others when he is the biggest liability in the whole of England. He is the definition of a cancer. My blood boils at the thought of his big fucking arse struggling to sprint back into position when he has played 3 players onside while he puts his big fucking arm up to signal for an offside. Even with the there not being many GOOD RBs in the world, keeping Ivanovic (which we WILL do because we love doing shit like this) makes no sense. He is a cancer. Mikel- This guy has been a "squad" player for years and years and years. He's getting older, and progressively shitter. His experience is useless as he can barely move anymore. I can't list the amount of times that he's just standing in a random position in midfield while the opposition's CAM is wide open and even their CMs are getting forward. Sometimes I really realllyyy don't know what he does for us at allll.. Does he create balance? No. Does he make us seem defensively strong? No. Is he reliable? No. Is he young? No. Is he a leader? No. He checks off zero boxes... aside from that which reads, is he willing to sit on the bench for 80% of the game. He neeeeeds to leave. Remember in 2011/12, City brought in Pizarro during the January transfer window? I would MUCH rather have someone like that. Intelligent, passionate baller. Everything we want from Mikel as a "squad" player.. but everything he is not. Oscar- Lol. I laugh like a crazy person when I see this guy playing because deep down inside it hurts my fucking sooooulll seeing this guy in our squad, while other top top top players were offloaded. He's literally only a Chelsea player because of ONE moment 4 years ago. This fella is NOT a creative midfielder. He is NOT a #10.. I really don't know what he is. Only thing he's good for is sliding in recklessly whenever the opposition midfielders hold onto the ball for too long and stat pads against lesser sides. Sell him before his price falls. I'm counting on Chinese club to buy him for big bucks. Cahill- Has shown day by day how much of an embarassing defender he is. Never in 1000000 years has he ever been a player that is at all good enough for Chelsea Football club. I'm really trying my best to understand how tffff teams didn't rip us to shreads w a defence of him and Luiz at time from 2012-2014. His game is basically to back off and back off and back off some more.. and if there's a loose ball, throw himself at it. He's strong, he's not quick, he's not intelligent.. even his goals have dried up in the last few years. Idk what we expected from a player who spent most of his career at Villa and Bolton. He's turning 31.. If he was an intelligent player, I'd say keep him. But he's not, he relies on his physicality and thats only gonna deteriorate from here (as he ages). Also, his presence makes it harder for the top top young ballers we have. Christensen is 3728948 times better than this guy.. Remy- I acc love Loic. I loved him last year especially. He's isn't acc shit. He just seems like he doesn't care anymore. Falcao was given more playing time than him when they were both fit. Now Traore is getting more game time than him. He's been injured a lot this season as well.. but he's class when he's given the chance. He showed us this last season, towards the end he scored some really big goals but he has been wank this season.. regardless of all of his misfortunes. He looks drunk. He acc looks drunk lmao. He's scored like.. twice all season? Sell him man... Give Traore a bigger role at the club. Loic shouldve gone to Leicester if he had the chance in January. Wouldve won the league back to back. If this summer is meant to be our REAL summer of transition, these player.. they all need to leave our club. Out with the old and in with the new. I'll acc be in a state of depression if any of these players- including Matic- are in our starting XI next season. I'm serious. -
Jose, first the first day, has seen Oscar as HIS #10. That's the position he wants to play, it's the position he believes he can play and just like you said in your post, he is mediocre. Completely mediocre. Also, please don't say Hazard, ALONE is meant to be the player who is expected to create and then go on to say he's decided he's not going to play for Chelsea anymore. You see how (according to you) being the only creator.. from our trio behind the striker in the 2nd season under Jose and the ONLY creator/inventor in 2013/14 because Oscar -Jose's 10- is there to create "balance". You see how that can be a little bit overwhelming.. In a team that spends hundreds of millions of pounds a year on new players? Yes, Jose found balance. And Oscar was key to it.. But in the process, he managed to mold those around him to become just as bland, just as defensive minded, just as void of creativity.. The only way I can be okay with Oscar being in our squad is when we realize that he is never good enough to start for a club like ours. Never should he be played in this #10 role.. Never should he be considered a star, because he simply is not. If we think he is a star, we should cash in on him right now and rebuild in that position. We can look to buy other players to give us "balance"

lmaooo Future is really taking over if Young Metro's trust is being discussed 57 pages into an Antoine Griezmann transfer talk thread on TC

Oscar has been nothing short of average ever since the second half of that Juve game in 2012. He's one of the many players in our squad at this current moment that I seriously don't understand what purpose they serve us.. at all. Jose is an imbecile. How on God's green earth you can think for one second that Oscar is a #10... a #10 is acc beyond me and it seriously irritates me, physically lol. I don't care how "woeful" KdB was/is in training session, you can just tell when a player is a #10. And when a player is not. I've never ever seen Oscar as a #10. He doesn't have the skill set. He doesn't have the technique. He's a grafter... convenient right? For Jose's Chelsea. What a joke. He disassembled a team full of player's with star quality and technical superiority and kept a core of players that excel in running at full pace for 90 mins. And he dubbed Oscar, "his number 10" lmao what a joke. The sooner he leaves the club the better imo
-
Also, I would love it if he had the next few months off. We're shit.. let's face it he's shit too atm. We have nothing to play for. Let him rest, recuperate and be 100% for the Euros. A good tournament will do him the world of good and might be just what he need to push him onto having a top season with us next year. I would love it if Conte, a bit like Luis Enrique and Pochetino who are obsessed with a player's fitness.. get him into tip top shape next season. He's not a player who gets injured often so it's probably serious when he has to come off cuz he can't play no more. I'm faithful that Eden Hazard will get back to his brilliant best in the upcoming season. He's too good not to.
-
Why is everyone obsessed with Eden Hazard lmao?? It's ridiculous how much ppl monitor his every move. I swear he could take shot before an away game and hit a lil kid in the head with his shot and when he goes over to apologize, they'd say.. Eden Hazard wants to leave Chelsea. He could take a picture with a fan wearing a PSG kit or a Madrid kit and it would make the front pages of every newspaper. He could literally do anything and it would lead to him "wanting" to leave. I still don't understand why he can't swap shirts at half time. Would it make you lot feel better if he did it in the tunnel without cameras seeing? Cuz a player of his quality is probably asked to swap shirts with an opponent at half time of every game he plays. And notice, Di Maria took his top off first. It really is not that deep at allll.. Everyone is just sooooo obsessed with Eden Hazard
-
The biggest myth of a footballer lmao... His whole entire career has lived off a couple goals against Juve in 2012. HE was the only player to survive from a trio of Mata, De Bruyne and himself. Possibly the biggest cancer in our squad.
-
Can't wait till the best player in the Premier League turns up to the bridge and tears that disabled double pivot of ours a new arsehole. Dimitri Payet is the most beautiful player in the league and really and truly, can't wait to see what he conjures up against this joke of a side. We're gonna lose anyways.. Might as well enjoy the class on show from that beautiful footballer.
-
Oscar and Matic need to be shown the door. I really really want us to progress as a team. Both very unintelligent players who are limited technically and lack creativity. We need players like Miralem, Cesc etc. I dont care if they are lightweight. The greatest footballing team of our generation was ridiculously lightweight but football isn't played with muscle and size. Technique and brains are the two most important things in football. If we have Miralem and Cesc, all we need is a B2B midfielder. Lord knows where we are gonna find one (a good one) but we definitely need to move away from just looking to buy players who are big and strong but offer nothing technically.
-
They're very in form right now. We don't do well against the Saints, not expecting a win.. but would be a pleasant surprise if we can come away with the 3 points. Really and truly, I just want a good performance from the boys and no injuries
-
He's not playing like Eden Hazard. More like a floating CM. In his head, he doesn't have to score if the team is winning.. He doesn't have to shoot if the team is winning. He just wants to keep possession of the ball. He plays beautifully if not aggressively. A lot like 12/13 Hazard. Relying on others around him. Back then he knew Mata was the main man (like Willian & Costa are now). So he would just play his game without caring too too much about if he scores or assists. 13/14 & 14/15 he made Chelsea FC his own. Funny enough that might have been cuz of Jose.. Jose might've given him the extra push he needs to make him feel like he needs to dominate games. But as it always is with Jose, the way he is, he can only motivate a player for a short period of time. But anyways, as of right now, Hazard has drifted off. I feel like he's already hard to motivate -which is shocking for any professional- but now that we're at a point where we don't have much to fight for in the league, he's doubly passive and unmotivated. Also, can we all just stop expecting him to be a stat padder pls. He's clearly clearly not. I could probably count the number of games where he's taken more than 2 shots in a game with one hand. *Stat* He has taken 2 shots in his last 8 League Apps. He really is a winger with the mentality of a CM. This wouldn't be too too bad a decade ago but in the modern day, people like Mahrez who was bought for less than a million pounds at Leicester is capable of scoring 15+ goals. I was really hoping for him to be remembered in the same light as the likes of Iniesta or Zidane. Don't get me wrong, those guys will be remembered as World Champions and European Champions. But they will also be remembered as footballers who were always regarded as one of the best in their generation and didn't bother themselves with scoring a shit ton of goals or a making a shit ton of assists. But you just knew whenever you watch them in a match, you can just tell... this fella is the best player on the pitch. Oozing class. I look forward to tomorrow and his display. I appreciate artists on the pitch and Eden is definitely an artist.
-
So he's just gonna take Ramires' kit number? Our new no.7?
-
If Bamford is available, I'd love to see him up top. Also, RLC really SHOULD get a start. Although, I can see Guus playing all the big guns cuz he fears there might be a lack of experience from the youngsters and that might cost us.
-
In those 20 minutes he played, he showed WHY I dont think he'll ever become the best player in the world. He had two HALF CHANCES. Chances where, if he used his ability, pace and energy because he just came on.. He could've sealed the game for us and bagged his first goal this season. But as we have seen time and time again, he shies away from responsibility. Real lack of killer instinct. And what i dislike the most about the two occasions where he passed sideways to his teammate instead of going alone (which he is more than capable of), was his reaction when they made a mess of the chance. There was none, he just turned around and walked back without any care in the world. It's beginning to look like he doesn't care.. or doesn't care enough. Idk about you but if I hadnt scored since May, and I gave up a good opportunity to my teammate to put away a chance I COULD HAVE taken, I'd be pissed... So idk. I really don't know with Eden Hazard any more. It's like I care because I love the guy and he has ridiculous amounts of potential which I'm afraid might go unfulfilled but at the same time, I don't care as long as I get to enjoy watching him week in week out cuz he's a beautiful footballer. (Not gonna lie tho, as much as I enjoy watching him play.. when he does shit like what he did today.. I screamed at the screen cuz I desperately want him to do well, almost more than he wants to maybe)
-
Anyone knows whats wrong w him?
