  1. Always loved the guy. Remember him scoring an awesome goal on debut (put his body on the line). I'll still wear my MALOUDA 15 shirt with pride. Au Revoir Florent, thanks for the memories..
  2. I haven't been so pumped for a season to start since 06!!!! Exciting times are here again!
  3. Btw, i hate to say it, but i like the new Manure kit. Love the fitted sleeves and collar.
  4. Like i said on my previous post in here. If you compare it to the 06-12 kits, You will need a bigger size. My large is too small (Short at waist, Long sleeve's are kinda short and tight on the shoulders)
  5. I've said it before and I'll say it again, as long as you have Torres listed as your favorite player, nobody is going to take you seriously. Your obviously somebody that started watching football recently and have no idea what it takes to have the record Jose has.
  6. 5:30am here, waking up for work to read the amazing news. I remember joining this forum the year after Jose got the sack so I could do some arguing with people that agreed with his sacking. Now he's back! let the good times roll!
  7. one thing I miss about Jose was how we performed in games vs the top 4. That and turning the bridge into a fortress again.
  8. Win 3 FA Cups, a Premier League and a UCL with most of the players he either bought to the club or turned into the players they are today?? Hold on while i wipe away the tears..
  9. No, you wait and see.. LOL. Who cares any way? He's not in our team, not in our league and we have a 1in 32 chance of playing them in CL.. As far as I'm concerned, I'd rather a few aggressive German or Dutch players who have proved recently that "tikka takka" football is extremely overrated.
  10. Thank God! now at least the Torres transfer won't be the worse transfer in history. predicting a massive let down..
  11. Here we go! Mr-know-it-all!! Ruben made his Under-18 debut at the back end of the 2010-11 season after struggling with injury for much of the campaign, and started the 2011-12 season as a regular in Adrian Viveash's team. He scored his first goal for the youth team away to Newcastle United in August 2011 and went on to grab nearly half a dozen in the first half of the campaign. However, he would miss much of the second half of the season with a hip injury and was only fit to return to action in the Second Leg of the 2011-12 FA Youth Cup Final against Blackburn Rovers. 17 years old and he has two major injuries within a year. If you wouldn't say prone, would you say very unlucky??? Have you actually ever played a sport that requires physical contact? Well, i have. Played 2nd division Rugby League ( Thats 2 division's below the NRL) . Our Sports Physio and strength and conditioning coach, thats right, i guy who actually studies sports injuries, had us building muscle in common injury areas to avoid any further damage and help us strengthen that area. GUESS WHAT??? IT ACTUALLY WORKS!!!! I know Rugby league is not Football, but muscles are muscles.. If Loftus-Cheek has a history with injury, especially a hip injury, you can guarantee the club a working on building his muscle mass, because as the type of MF we need, a hell of a lot of both upper body and leg strength won't hurt.
  12. Muscle gain can really help somebody who is very injury prone. As most EPL fans know, it doesn't hurt to have some size. Yaya Toure is one of the biggest MF's I've ever seen and is rarely injured. coincidence? I don't think so..
  13. If he works on his muscle gain, there is no telling how good he's going to be. He impressed the hell out of me vs Citeh.. Exciting times ahead for CFC.
  14. Will this be televised on TV in Australia? Should be on ESPN but i couldn't be arsed checking. EDIT: Just checked the listing and on ESPN2 friday morning 10:00am they have 3 soccer shows listed from 10:00-12:00. Keep an eye on this spot as it may change to the game. They have changed listings at the last minute in the past.
  15. I agree with some of this, but some i don't. I have so much love for the likes of Ranieri, Gullit and co, they were the reason i originally fell in love with the club. Sure we had a large number of players before either Roman or Jose came along, but were they performing as well as they did under Jose? I remember Joe Cole going from a good English player to one of the most dangerous players in the world. As good as these players were, Jose made them even better. He knew how to bring out that "invincible feeling" within the team. For his first two seasons, i couldn't see anybody beating us. He also was the reason we signed Didier.. without him.. well you know. Unlike Mancini, whom everybody is comparing him with, Jose kept the core of the English players and molded the team and style around them. He didn't just sack the entire team and replace them with European mercenaries.
  16. 219 pages of debating on whether Mourinho coming back is good/bad/true/false. The ones who are against it are obviously those who weren't here from the years of 2003-2007. If they were, they would know how much he did for our club. On a global scale, he made us giants! The blue revolution was as much to do with him as it was to do with Roman. It happened so fast i couldn't keep up. I remember being one of the only blokes in my country that owned a Chelsea jersey. A year later, you could see them everywhere. We were massive! But it wasn't just the winning, it was the way he treated the players, staff and fans. He was an absolute gentleman. I'll never forget how he use to shoulder the blame when our players would slip-up. Always protecting them from the press. He was like a father. Fuck i miss him! For those that are against it, i say, get back to me this time next year. I'm so sure of his success that i will delete my account if we don't win the league.
  17. Not gonna act like i wouldn't love if he came. Highly doubt i though. Too many reasons for it not happening.
  18. Anybody else notice Lampard and Mikel making fun of Bosingwa before lifting the Europa League trophy?? Mikel grabs the trophy off Lamps and Frank looks at him and says "Bosingwa, where's Bosingwa?" and the both laugh. Just picked up on it after watching the replay.

  20. Got the kit today. Don't love it though. If you wore large from the 06-12 Adidas kits I'd recommend XL. I hate the elastic on the long sleeve, makes my arms look short. Also a bit tight around the chest and shoulders.
  21. best news I've heard in ages! This all but confirms Jose's return..
  22. United or Arsenal. Always a firery encounter which almost always includes a bad ref decision or a penalty that costs either side the game. Tottenham wish they were our main rivals! Liverpool are just fucking shit..
