  1. Team seems solid and as expected. Thought he might go willian after the bad game that Schurrle had in midweek but fair enough. No Didier to come on vs Arsenal though...
  2. Gotta start putting away these chances. Their left back is Terri-bad.
  3. I was not saying Gala and City are the same thing just making a point. Lampard still got a standing ovation after scoring against us playing for city. That says all that needs to be said about how high he is still thought of by a lot of fans. But the 2 sides of this are never gonna agree. Clearly i think that people are making a hella of a fuss out of nothing and vice versa. It is what it is.
  4. Maybe in your opinion but that is in no case fact. Drogba will always be one of the greats but so will lampard. Ask the Chelsea fans who went to the game if that is how he will be remembered. Do a poll in england right now and i would bet a lot of money on Lampard still being classed as one of the top 2 Chelsea legends of all time. Also where are you getting this "Lampard hates Chelsea thing from"? Thats clearly not the case. People going crazy at lampard will clearly see what they want and everyone else will see things the other way. But whatever went on behind the scenes his connection to the fans still remains. It's not ideal but he will always be my no.1 as i have grown up watching him and seen pretty much every game since he first came here. 1 City loan spell won't change that.
  5. The response he got proved that in most Chelsea fans eyes he still is a pure legend.
  6. He voluntarily took 2 points from us... How about the terrible defending leading up to it? How about the fact people didn't even want him here anymore because he "wasn't good enough." If lampard is the reason people use if we don't win the league this season then extreme lol's should be had all round. What a cop out. It's easy to blame lampard when it was our own fault for not putting the game away and making defensive errors leading to the goal. 211 or whatever he is has scored for us and however many trophies. He scores 1 against us in a loan deal and people act like he judas or something.
  7. He went to play for Gala and played against us... Lampard went to play for new york and has gone there on loan. He was pretty much crying at the end of the city game. The difference being Lampard scored and Drogba didn't? Or the difference being a player that "needs to go because he is hurting the team, not good enough any more bla bla bla" is now gonna play for city for a few months. Remember that team thats arguably got greater depth than we have... ?
  8. And I will add. The people attacking lampard were also the same people who didn't want lampard in the team in the first place as he was a liability and made our team worse... It's gotta be one or the other. Can't be both.
  9. Never have I seen a player care so much about the team he used to play for, or the fans care so much about the player who just scored against them. It will truly be a priceless moment for me seeing lampard go up and clap our fans almost in tears. Lampard will always be no. 1 for me because what he does now won't ever change that. If anything the events of Sunday cemented that even more.
  10. People blaming frank should probably be blaming the defence for leaving him open. I have never seen a player go up to the openents fans after scoring the equaliser and getting a bigger reception from those fans before. It sucked that it happenned but you could see how upset it made him at the end. He didn't go score kiss the badge with a big FU to the chelsea fans.
  11. Well that's the closest I have come to crying in a prem game. Lampard always a Legend. 1-1 was a decent result.
  12. Firstly Lol United Secondly Lol Pool. Thirdly Lol Tottenham. Fourthly, liking that mourinho is going with the 4-3-3. Don't want the Fabregas Matic pivot to get overun and Ramires legs should be good on both sides of the ball. Finally, Diego Costa is a beast.
  13. Meh. Not ideal start. Shouldn't be any real harm done though. Disappointing result. But the group is still ours and we showed that today even if the score that matterred was 1-1.
  14. Lol them two just won't get over it. He made a mistake said something he shouldn't and was punished for it 3 years ago. Move on.
  15. Defence a little shaky but we coasted the last 10 mins which attributed to it. Costa obviously man of the match. Hazard scared the hell out of their defence causing them to stand off him which helped a lot of our movement and the assist machine is still assisting... Happy days.
  16. Someone get the bubble wrap out and let's keep this guy healthy.
