As for the youth team complaints it's not exactly the time to be chucking someone in. Mickey mouse cup or not. It's still a cup and we have come this far and we want to win it.

I am not a fan of cahill in midfield. Seems a bit too negative to me it's not like we are playing real Madrid. We should respect the opposition obv and it will be far from easy. We all remember the last time we played spurs without matic but I'm concerned at us being true defensive and trying to soak up a lot of pressure. Cuadrado for schurrle for pretty much the same price seems a reasonable swap. His pace should hopefully cause a lot of problems and I look forward to seeing him link up with fabri, hazard, oscar and costa.

Don't they have a new fast track system to deal with this sort of thing whereby they hand out bans within 3 days? I would love to have Costa for this game don't get me wrong. I just see a lot of blame going towards the fa when if the incidents don't happen the fa can be as shitty as they want and they can't ban a player for something that didn't happen. I can't remember any of our other players stamping in recent games. Im sure they have at some point. But not twice in a game. I mean that's gotta be extremely unlikely. But whatever I'm happy to agree to disagree.

If people actually believe the fa are heavily biased towards city based on the augero decision and because they won the league then wow. This place is turning into rawk.

So it just happens to occur to the same player twice who isn't exactly the calmest of characters. I can say I am 98% confident that at least one of them was intentional. At the very least he did nothing to try and avoid the player. He deserves the ban. Can't be doing that sort of thing. I get we are all biased to Chelsea based decisions. Obviously we all are. If that happens to any other player then there is outrage and people saying the ban is deserving. Yeah they fucked up the augero one doesn't mean they should get this wrong to make up for it. We all know the fa don't give a shit and they are a load of crap. But don't give them the ammo to do it but stamping on two people in a game.

I get pissed off with the FA as much as most. But blaming this one on them is a bit too extreme. Costa knew what he was doing and deliberately stamped on whoever it was and earnt himself the ban. Not one of us would have an argument if it was any other non chelsea player. Sure they have missed some in the past which is why the FA are a load of twats. But if Costa doesn't stamp on 2 people he doesn't get banned. On the brightside he now gets a nice mid season break and can hopefully push on to be even better for the latter half of the season. If we can pull of a result vs city this could work out favourably, But a draw vs city isn't looking as bad as it was pre the costa ban.
