Might work. We are probably gonna get over run in midfield whichever pairing we pick, because we don't have a Yaya Toure type player. Which is why David luiz could be the closest thing we could have to that. Or even play a 4-3-3 with Oscar in there as well to give ourselves an extra man, though i don't like having to play Mata out of position.

Theres' no better options anyway, so that has worked out quite well. The one option is the best option... Sounds good to me.

I'm sorry, but he will always be the guy who switched right backs when we needed a goal, and then switches strikers when we are protecting a lead. Leaves Demba on the bench in favour of putting benayoun on. I don't think we have been that much better defensively, and hazard and mata have been great all season. Hazard had an amazing start of the season so i don't see how he has made him or mata better, His rotation policy is far too extreme imo. Resting players has gone far over the top, and we can never get a consistent team going which is not ideal at all. So for me his appointment has been dreadful. He needs to prioritise the premier league, and we have gone downhill since his appointment, if you were gonna sack RDM do it at the start of the season. Not when we are just 4 points of the lead, and because we got knocked out of the champions league.

Would much rather it be Luiz and Mikel than rambo in mikel in midfield, but its gonna be rambo and mikel and our passing is gonna be a worry. Mata will have to drop in more, but hopefully can link up well with hazard and we can run the game.

Also it's not like he is gonna get to play where he wants for quite a while, as mata is not getting replaced. When mata is being rested he will have a chance to play the no10 role, but until then he will have to try and adapt better to other positions so he can get more game time. But it's his first season in the prem. Give him a chance before anyone writes him off.

United will buy falcao and we will probably buy rooney for 50 mil or something stupid.

I get that, but theres no Big scary team like an atletico madrid. If we play our best we should beat all those teams. And tbh, if we are gonna have to play them eventually there is an argument for playing them over two legs being better than 1.
