  2. Totally Agree... City is a completely different kettle of fish and it links in to their midfield domination, something which the other 3 "big" teams we face don't have. United have great strikers, but a poor Central midfield and shaky defence. Tottenham have Bale, but don't possess great strikers, and only have an ok cm and defence Arsenal have Carzorla and wilsher but nobody who will take the game by the scruff of the neck, and are ok elsewhere. City however have Tevez and aguero in AM positions, their equivilant of mata and hazard, crucially have Yaya Toure in CM who just dominates in there and that is where the real problem lies. They have a great attack to with Sergio aguero, but when we compare teams, everywhere we match up pretty well except in that CM position where Yaya, just owns it. I would honestly much rather play United again than play city and its not even close for me...
  3. I would actually play David Luiz and Mikel in CM. David Luiz i think could do a Yaya toure type role fairly well. It also means we will have a lot of cover and he should be able to increase tempo and still produce some good passing. Ramires' stamina and box to box mentality would be missed but Ramires and Mikel are such poor passers we struggle getting the ball out and need Mata and Hazard to drop deeper. Probably would go with: Cech Azpi Cahill Terry Cole DavidLuiz Mikel Moses Mata Hazard Ba Oscar to come on at half time or so, depending on the situation to freshen up our attack. Won't happen but i think it would be worth a go.
  4. City won... They have the better team, when both play to their best ability but united can just grind out results.
  5. odds have come in a little bit... Promising.
  6. Just because its seems obvious to us doesn't mean it is obvious to everyone else. As can be seen by a number of decisions our current manager has made. I am not saying we will, i am not saying we should. I was simply saying that in my view lampard and ramires are more effective in a 4-3-3 formation. And there is no guarentee that whoever the next manager is, be it Mourinho or anyone else that we will keep the same formation.
  7. Yeah... Oh wait no... Hahahahahhahahahah especially anton... Wanker.
  8. What??? Please show me where I said I would have us change the system? Everyone knows the system doesn't suit Lampard... He isn't a DM or a DLP and isn't the Cam in behind the striker either. For what it's worth I wouldn't change our system, but get a proper CM. But who is to say out next manager won't change that. What one manager plays at one team doesn't mean he will play it everywhere. Ofc Lampard would be more effective in a system he has played most of his career... That's a given.
  9. IF Mourinho comes, we will still be playing 4-2-3-1 though? Or whichever manager? My stance on this has always been clear, so i am not gonna re-hash any of that as it has been debated to death, but if the new manager comes on and reverts back to a 4-3-3 system then his usefulness even as an impact sub would increase, as i am sure most would agree our "current" CM's are more suited to a 3 man midfield system, particularly lampard and ramires.
  10. And hopefully one day soon the man on the right will return.
  11. LOL, Sad but true. Not too sad though, he is probably one of the best paid bench sitters on the planet.
  12. definitely wouldn't take Mata and Hazard etc. Lets keep them fresh. We should have enough of a lead.
  13. Didn't play very well but we got the win and spurs didn't win which is the most important thing. The time for playing good football has passed now it is about getting results by hook or by crook.
  14. GET IN THERE!!!!!!!! 3 POINTS PHEW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  15. I think you just hacked millions of websites and included a definition of nervosity.
  16. Damn my hopes and dreams are crushed... It also means @milan.cech was right which is never a good thing...
