  1. *generic WTF at generic Wayne Rooney transfer post*
  2. [Random Post] I definitely think you should get a MOTM badge if you have won it in the past... [/Random Post].
  3. Thats alright mate. And yeah i know. Obviously not doing it myself, but i was quite surprised by those odds, thought they would be a lot bigger. More in the 30's.
  4. If you go on betfair, you can "lay" instead of "back". Because betfair is about people betting against each other, if you lay, you act as the bookmaker. So i could lay Arsenal winning the league at 12/1. So effectively i am risking £120 to the betters £10. If arsenal don't win the league then i get £130 back. Thats why betfair give you the best prices as a backer, as everyone knows the bookies have the advantage so the prices you get are more reasonable (Except in this case imo.) So liverpool are 4.0 to get top 4 (3/1). If i wanted to bet on that then obviously a £10 bet returns £40 quid including stake. But i could lay it (Act as the bookmaker) and risk say £300 to the betters £100. So if they don't i get £400. And i was half joking that if i were to put a huge bet (I wouldn't because i only bet small amounts) say 1k on arsenal not winning then that would get me 8/9% profit on my money. (assuming they don't win the league lol).
  5. Pretty cool Gif... EVOLUTION OF THE CHELSEA SQUAD IN THE ROMAN ERA
  6. Liverpool to get top 4 3/1. Lay that and make 33% interest as i can't see liverpool getting there either. Bit more risky, but i still can't see it happenning.
  7. HAHAHAHAHA.... Would be hilarious.
  8. Free money on betfair... Arsenal are 11.5 to win the league. (Which is never gonna happen... Us, Utd, City and spurs all have better teams. Just lay that or say 12 to get some action. Then generate around about 8/9% interest. Better than any bank. And probably a safer investment.
  9. Your some average defender in the prem... Who do you want to play against? Someone who is big, tall, powerful, who can do something explosive at any moment, yet is still very raw, and sometimes makes incorrect decisions and trys to hard... Or Torres. For me its a no-contest. The pure fact that Lukaku can outrun and overpower a defender gives him the edge even if you ignore everything else. In terms of just linkup play, then maybe, but then torres spent the majority of the last few seasons, not being in the forward position and not running at defenders.
  10. Either United are gonna sell him to a rival and make money out of it, or they will have an unhappy player on their hands. I reckon they are stalling in the hope they can sell him to somewhere else.
  11. Lol. Blocking porn... That is gonna work.
  12. Just a precaution i would imagine. The right decision. Don't want to make it worse in preseason.
  13. His hair is clearly the source of his power.
  14. Good performance. I would still send him on loan. He is fighting over 1/2 places and will probably have a lot of bench time. He needs to go to a club and establish himself then come back and give it a crack.
  15. Exactly what we need from a second choice keeper.
  16. Yeah i take that point. But I don't want this to become an oscar vs KDB thing. They are both great players which we are very lucky to have. If mata is moved to the right (which doesn't make great sense to me, but i trust Mourinho's judgement and he knows far better than me), then yes I would probably slot oscar into the CAM role right now. But if he doesn't move mata which I definitely wouldn't of then, KDB imo is the best option we have for the right hand side, Becuase of the reasons I mentioned (right footed, great delivery, set pieces, can still cut inside to link up with mata, work-rate etc.) Whatever happens it's a good problem to have.
  17. Think I misread someone else's post... So my apologies on that front to that person. And I'll go and read your post. Don't want you crying into that meatball sub.
  18. At CAM then oscar could well have the edge over KDB. But mata obviously had the edge over both of them. So since we can't play two CAMS. He will have to be either an extremely good option off the bench (which seems like a huge waste of talent). Or adapt to a deeper role. Or a wider role. And in terms of the wider role I would rather have KDB there.
  19. Tbh, i hadn't even read your post... I'm sure I saw that somewhere though. Or I could have hallucinated it.
  20. He wasn't exactly bad last season as well though. And compared to his competitors for that wide right spot, he probably has the edge right now over: Oscar/moses /Schurrle. But I agree about some of the greatest in the world or better than Mata statements flying around this early on.
  21. Wing too slow? Granted he isn't walcott but i would back him in a foot race against oscar. And the way we play he doesn't have to be super quick. Also what makes him able to play that wide right role is that he has delivery from wide areas. Hazard has it as well, but he is much more of a test technical run past players and cut inside. KDB will give us more width whist being able to play in a similar way to mata imo. And apparently he can also shoot pretty well based on today's goal. It won't happen. But right now given the players we have my starting midfield would against hull would be: Essien Oscar KDB Mata Hazard
  22. Yeah ok, but he is playing with the likes of hazard etc who are all proven week in week out and outperforming them. Granted it's only pre season and they probably don't really give a shit. But still it is very encouraging signs. And based on last season and his first 2 games on preseason playing for us i will be very surprised if he is not starting against hull on the 18th of august.
  23. KDB for me was the MOTM. So much energy from the start. Great pass from the right early on for the assist. And the goal was spectacular. Luckily for us the injury wasn't bad. Should be a great season for him and especially us.
