Not a great gameweek. Wish i had put benteke in as well, but then at least i don't have 4 players who won't be playing in 2 weeks time. Have to let it ride for this week then use my two free transfers wisely.

He will. But simply put Hazard isn't really in competition with anyone because in his position he is no.1. It's a bit like the Left back position. Schurlle is in competition with hazard in the same way bertrand is in competition with Cole. But the advantage for schurlle being he can play in other positions as well.

What i really like is him questioning his own decisions and analysing them etc. And what he said about the team was correct. At least we know we won't have to be subject to the 89th min left back sub when we need a goal. He won't be afraid to change things at half time or before if he thinks something is not right. Great to have him back. He is still learning with the team, so he is gonna make slight errors here and there, tactically or selection wise.

Yeah. If It was official of meant anything then Cech/rambo was probably a more realistic option. No one really stood out. None of the AM 3. Hazard was great at times and not so at others. Ivan should have been off but scored. JT and cahill had a good game but were a bit liable for their goal. Rambo started well. Lamps had some good moments bit some bad also. Lukaku though just bossed it when he came ok and seemed to lift the whole team. Perhaps it's because he wasn't on for long and could just go all out. But that is why I picked him.

TBF if we were in Aston villas shoes right now. This thread would be full with complaints about the ref so it's understandable.

I agree. One thing we pretty much know for certain is that it won't be ba. So its either lukaku or torres. And for me he earned his chance with that impact he made. I expect to see torres though. Could be wrong, but that's the feeling I get.

Got there in the end. Got the points. Jose made the right subs. Lukaku proved he is the best striker we have. We got a bit lucky but the points are ours. Improvement needs to be made, but we got the result. Lukaku wasn't on for long but he looked lively and dangerous so he is my motm.
