Hazard/Mata/Oscar have showed the form though, Torres hasn't really. So he's bound to get the blame, + the fact he cost the club £50million isn't really going to go in his favor. Yes i know its not his fault we paid that ridiculous amount of money for him. But still, You'd expect alot better from him.

Exactly! They've been quiet in the last couple of games, if not the last month. Hazard started the season on fire, he's been quiet since. Mata had that rest, then come back on fire best he's been arguably, Then in recent games he's been less effective. And Oscar, Well he only seems to do well in the Champions League.

Sums it up great, FIFA Club World Cup. Fa Cup, Capital One Cup (Not bothered if we don't win it, But its a trophy end of the day which will cheer the players up) and top four. That for me would be a good season. Unless we buy a decent striker and proper centre-midfielder. We won't be challenging for major titles such as the League and the Champions League.

I'm not saying we shouldn't buy, Because its clear we have to buy. But we have to be careful what we do, and how much we spend. Because no matter what, There's always a chance that the signing will flop and under-perform.

I'd have him for £20million...But at the moment, I'd probably have any striker for £20million who can score goals. Age is on his side, So he'd be a good signing if bought. Not seen much of him, Apart from Youtube Videos which i won't judge a player on because youtube makes any player look good and him in the Olympic's which he seemed decent in!

I'd take Huntelaar with open arms, Heard he's available for £6million. At that price, There's going to be several clubs after him. Think he's still got a couple of season left in him, Where he could maybe score 20+ goals. And i'd pay alot more for a striker who can score that when you look at our current strikers!

We praise him when he has a shot, Or does a little pass. For a £50million striker, We should be praising him for bagging a hatrick or winning us the game. Not a simple pass which Ross Turnbull could probably play. I understand its motivating, and likely to help him. But its all we seem to do.

Exactly, Had if not been Messi playing the CF in Barca's false-nine it wouldn't be as effective and as hyped as much. It would still be effective as they're a good passing team and would create room for anyone upfront. But look at Spain in the Euro's, They played a false-9 and somegames it would back-fire. Media and fans both attacked Del Bosque's decision to play a false 9.

Thats true, But no doubt he would score with those players around him. Tika-Take or not, Those three will create space of which Falcao can go into and finish. Several times we've seen Mata/Hazard/Oscar play that final ball, for the finish to be either awful. Or not even a finish (Torres dribbles off and loses it).

Great post, But think Lampard/Ramires could be to attacking. When Ramires pushes forward, It would leave Frank on his own. He's too slow now to prevent attacks, and isn't exactly known for his tackling/defensive attributes. Think Lampard however would work great alongside a proper centre-mid. Then again, give either Mikel,Ramires or Lampard a proper partner in midfield. And it will make them look alot better.

The false-9 against Juve didn't exactly work wonders, But had we took our chances. We might not be criticizing it, more praising it. When Torres' came on vs Juventus, Although he didn't actually do much. He give our players someone to aim for in the box, Whereas when we had Hazard CF he tended more to go to the ball and support players meaning no-one in the box. Given time and training, it could work wonders. Doubt it'll happen now though, Rafa will most likely go with Torres until January, Then i'm expecting another striker. So no reason really why we'll have to play a false 9 later on.

Couldn't agree more, Imagine if we had a proper centre-midfielder. Someone who could play decent attacking balls and actually pick out our attacking trio. Hazard was amazing at the start of the season when Lampard was fit, And like you said. He's dulled down recently. Could be due to numerous reasons. He could be playing well, Just due to his fine start his performances maybe seem average compared to those at the start of the season.

Falcao would be my favorite, Is there another more hyped up player in the world right now? Other than Messi/Ronaldo of course. Neymar you could argue, But with the sound of things he doesn't want to leave Brazil until after the world cup. I'd love Falcao, But what would it cost us? Would Torres be in the deal? If so, What happens if Falcao comes, and is just like Torres? Doesn't score for like a 800 minutes or so? Just because he's banging them in for fun now doesn't mean he'll do it in England, Although i myself think he's more than capable of adapting. Its possible he wont!

As much as we're being linked with all these big players, Can't really see any of them coming off in January. Think if Falcao is to happen, It'll come in the summer. Not saying i wouldn't want him in January, Just i doubt it'll happen. Think we'll get someone who's not such as popular as Cavani/Falcao. But nevertheless, Who ever comes in. Surely can't do as bad as what we're working with already! For me, Think a CM is important. Seeing as Mikel's heading off to the ACON, and we've already let the likes of Meireles and Essien (loan) go.

Today wasn't his best performance, But then again. Don't really think either of our attacking trio did anything special. Thought there was too many sloppy passes on our side, Hazard's bagheel on the edge of our box which lost us the ball annoyed me aswell. Thankfully it came to nothing and we cleared it, Just imagine had we conceded and lost due to that error.

I've seen Kane play live, He looks like a player for the future. Given the right treatment i'm sure he'll become a quality player... Hutchinson? I'm not sure we can really rely on him for back-up, Not that i don't want it. Just it's pretty risky seeing as he's already retired once. I think we do need a RB, Just who? I've never seen either Van Der Wiel or Cesar Azpilicueta play. Just from what i've heard, Van Der Wiel is like Bosingwa. He's apparently awful at defending and poor at going forward. Also Van Der Wiel won't want to be sitting on the bench watching Ivanovic play. So whoever we get, They're going to have to realise they won't be playing week in - week out.
