Please let it be us. I don't think Dortmund will sell Lewandowski to Bayern. They wouldn't want to reinforce them even more. With Gotze they simply had no say due to the releaseclause but with Lewandowski there's no releaseclause. So they'reprobably more willing to sell to a foreign team.

Outmuscled ? They were simply outplayed. Bayern had a brilliant pressing game, well organised at the back and were still able to hurt Barcelona on the attack.

More i think. They bought him for 20 million euros. Seeing how he's an important part of their team and he's gained PL experience. Wouldn"t be suprised if they put a 30 million (euros) price tag on his head.

Agree. Think he would work great with Mata and Hazard. They're always looking to play 1-2's in tight areas. Lewandowski would be perfect for that.

Heard this a lot of times but it doesn't make sense to me. Why would Man u be willing to shell out the 40 million for Hazard but not pay a couple extra millions in agent fees ? Also his player wages aren't questionable. Multiple (reliable !) French and Belgian media outlets reported his wages to be £110 k .

This! Also why does he have to be a strong character ? It's not like we have difficult characters in our team and most of the old guard will be gone.

Think Hazard's words are being misinterpreted by some. His words don't really mean being scared or frightend but more along the lines of showing to much respect.

He's not really a playmaker. He can pass the ball well, loads of stamina, good in tight spaces, he can play his way out of difficult situations, very technical, good positional awareness and he's strong on the ball but he doesn't have the long range passing required of a DLP. He's kind of a mixture between a DM and a DLP. I'd put him next to a DLP and play him as the more defensive player. This campagne he's played on the 6 for Belgium next to Dembele and he's been really great. A Gundogan-Witsel midfield would be faptacular.

Why compare Mata and Hazard to dlp's ? They aren't dlp, but AM. Same with why they don't cross much. They aren't out and out wingers. They're AM's that operate centrally and thrive on quick 1-2's. 1 thing i've wondered about our tactics is why we're crossing the ball into the box. I mean really who do we expect to head it in ? Hazard ? Mata ? Oscar ? We should just try to emulate a small part of Barcelona's tactic. Using our fullbacks for width and trying to stretch the defense so some space opens up centrally for Mata, Hazard and Oscar to exploit. We should instruct our fullbacks to only cross that ball in when they see someone open and preferably do it over the ground. Else just pass it back and keep possession.

Fully agree with you. Imo the lack of a DLP has been our biggest weakness this season.

Although i'm a fan of playing Ocar in centre midfield i don't think that was why we looked better. We have a crappy midfield. We got dominated in midfield and couldn't reach our attackers because of that. Our answer to this was hoofing the ball and bypassing our midfield completely but with only 1 striker it wasn't working. With Torres and Ba up front we were causing the central defenders problems this made Mancini use a more defensive tactic and have his team sit deeper which allowed our midfield to finally get on the ball without getting pressed like crazy.
