I am ? Just thought it was an odd thing to do but i've just seen the highlights and it was indeed jokingly done.

Is it just me or did Torres, after he saw Mata scored, point to his feet like "why didn't you pass to me?"

I think ,in terms of stats, we should expect a more balanced return from Hazard (20 goals, 20 assists) rather then a pure goalscorer (30 + goals and 10 assists.) Well that also depends on DeBruyne. He needs to come close to Hazard so he can play the 1-2 and DeBruyne doesn't Always do that. I really feel Hazard will be more consistent when he actually gets support from his left back. At times he gets way too isolated and that causes him to dissapear out of games.

But he does, Hazard constantly tries to do quick 1-2's and that's actually one of the few times where he tries to get in behind defences. Problem is that his teammates usually just ignore him or fuck up the pass back to Hazard. I do agree with you that Hazard needs to improve his off the ball movement both when attacking the box or when trying to get in behind defences. Well i'd say Hazard 's playing style is a mix of Iniesta and Robben. Like i said in my post he not a winger or a 10 he's something in between.
-
Well it's a bit similar to people on this forum. They expect a lot from Hazard and want him to play like he played the last 10 minutes of Belgium-Russia all 90 minutes long.
-
Well Hazard isn't really a winger or a 10 he's something between the two. I think we should keep playing him on the left wing but allow him to sometimes move away from the sideline and roam into the centre.(like we've been doing last season)Let him be unpredictable. I think the most important thing is getting an attacking left back to help him get rid of the double marking and to keep the width when he roams to the centre. I actually don't think Hazard is less direct then Mertens. I think Mertens looked more direct because he was constantly able to go 1 on 1 with the Russian left back while Hazard was double marked. When Hazard gets into a 1 on 1 situation he usually goes for it. It's just that teams rarely allow that to happen because they know how good he is at it. Both of his decisive assists came on the counter when the opposition couldn't doublemark him as they didn't have enough players to do so.

Damn, well it's just a video about Wilmots talking to some older guy. The older guy asked if Courtois would come back to Chelsea this season. Wilmots responded "yes he's returning to Chelsea this season" The older guy then asked "So they'll sell Cech then ?" Wilmots responded " It's a possibility, yes" (didn't really seem to be sure about this, think he was just speculating) Basically just confirmed what Mourinho said to Marca that he's coming back to Chelsea this season.
-
Yeah he said it. Click on the link video at the bottom. http://www.rtbf.be/sport/football/coupedumonde/detail_wilmots-affirme-a-houllier-que-courtois-va-retourner-a-chelsea?id=8298652

Courtois has done all he can to earn his shot at the number one spot. Mourinho said Courtois was coming back to Chelsea. It doesn't make any sense to bring Courtois back and then put him on the bench. If Mourinho is going to play Cech then Courtois should simply go back out on loan.

I've got the same opinion as Xtraxion even if you don't have natural fullbacks you need to push your fullbacks up high, atleast on that left side with Vertonghen. That way Hazard can get away from his flank because now he's getting way to isolated on his side. He's constantly getting double marked with a third player covering. The only way to counteract that is by having your fullback push up high and overlap Hazard. Even if Vertonghen isn't that great going forward the opposition still has to cover his run and allow Hazard some more space to work with.
-
Well, i agree that Azpi isn't that great going forward but he's still better at it then Ivanovic and he's also better at defending.(Ivanovic is great defensively but he allows crosses to come in way to easily) So for me Azpi is the better RB, only thing Ivanovic has over Azpi is aerial ability. Also, don't really get the fascination with crosses. Even if we get Costa we'd stil be playing with Hazard Oscar Willian behind him, all players that don't thrive on crosses. They're all players that like the ball at their feet and like to pass the ball around, play quick 1-2's.

Those long balls and through balls.

Euh......well.......euhm, no....he can't.

I think age is an important factor. Ronaldo is close to 30 so his value probably took a hit.
-
His father confirmed today that he talked to Mourinho personally and that Mourinho wants another loan for Thorgan but in a better competition.
-
If there are still doubts about him not leaving, his father, who 's also his agent, said to the press that the transfer rumours are nonsense and that Hazard just wants to focus on the World Cup.
-
It's not about balls, it's about actually finding a team stupid enough to take him.
-
Okay fair enough but even so there hasn't been any news on Hazard or his family being unhappy to live in London so seems a bit redundant to talk about it.
-
What are you talking about ? Hazard and his wife and kids live in London. His kids go to school in London. The reason why he was travelling to France was because he got invited,by Lille, to give the kickoff.
