Having a striker that can actually hold on to a ball is pretty important no matter what style of football you play.

Well i can't say for certain why he wore it but maybe he wasn't wearing anything underneath his jersey so when they asked him for an interview he quickly put on the jersey. Or maybe he was cold. I mean there are a number of valid reasons why he would wear it. Honestly think you're overeacting a bit mate. I highly doubt Hazard meant to upset anyone by wearing that jersey.

He swapped jerseys with a PSG player. Well guess what, he's played in France and knows most of the players playing for PSG. Actually i wouldn't be suprised if the player he swapped jerseys with was Cabaye, former teammate and a good friend of Hazard. When he talked about Messi and Ronaldo he always said he hoped to reach their level one day and acknowledged that he still had a long way to go and that he had to work extremely hard everyday to achieve that. (so get your facts straight) 16 goals, 11 assists. Lead goalscorer and lead assister of the team this season. Like you said not bad, not bad at all. Never really understood why fans get upset over players swapping jerseys after a loss. Could you please explain. I mean do you think him swapping jerseys means that he doesn't care that we lost or something ? Cause THAT really sounds dumb.

Where in my posts did i make fun of other football leagues ?

What if you only give a yellow card and the team misses the penalty ? The team of the player that committed the foul basically get's away with cheating. You'd constantly see defenders and goalkeeper cynically taking down players who are in a great goalscoring position, happily take the yellow card and a chance for their goalkeeper to save the penalty.

Oh come on you can't be serious. The Premier league is the most physical league in the world. "the premier league has shit defenders" Ridiculous statement. "La Liga is better" That really is a completely different discussion. i disagree but like i said different discussion. This is about Ligue 1 vs Premier league. Don't really get what you're trying to prove with the "lione- Tottenham 5-3" Tottenham lost against a French team so that means the French league is better ? Tottenham sucks ! Premier League >> Ligue 1. That is simply not up for debate.
-
I know mate but there is no way you can rewrite that rule without causing other problems.
-
You do realize Willian plays in the Premier League while both Lavezzi and Lucas play in the Ligue 1. Premier League >> Ligue 1. Better defenders in the premier league which makes it harder to score, assist and dribble.
-
But how ? There's no solution. Every rewrite would have it's loopholes and disadvantages.

Disagree, red card and penalty were the right punishment. The handball was deliberate and he attempted to prevent a goal. (yes the ball was going out but he didn't know that) There are some situations where a red card and a penalty are too harsh but this wasn't one of them. Imo ofcourse.

“It’s an aspiration for me because I watch a lot of games of Ronaldo and Messi, and I try to make the same,” said Hazard, who has 15 goals in all competitions this season. “But I know I want to score more because sometimes I play well, like today, but I don’t score. To be the best player in the world, I have to score more. It’s just in my head. I have to shoot more sometimes. I can make the pass, I can shoot and sometimes I make the pass, but I work on that.” Well it's good that he knows it. Candidate for Shirt #10 next season?
Belgiannutt replied to Juguard's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Special ability no but it can give a confidence boost and make the player feel better in the team maybe even give him a heightened sense of responsibility. It's also a sign of confidence from the club towards the player as normally the number 10 is given to the best attacking player. Hazard will probably ask for it. Did the same thing in Lille, had number 26 and when the player wearing number 10 left he asked and got the number so i'd be suprised if he didn't ask for it now. He holds special meaning to the number and also Zidane wore number 10 aswell. (his childhood idol for the people that don't know) -
Get found out ? With our NT he actually had to kick a penalty 2 times in a row as 1 of our players ran into the box to early. Both times he used his technique. So the goalkeeper couldn't have been more prepared yet was simply unable to stop neither one and was sent the wrong way both times. Found some footage of it but it's not the best of quality.

Vertonghen is my MOTM

Actually think it's a 4-2-3-1 with Hazard on the 10.

Some want Lukaku others want Benteke to be our nr 1 striker. Think Benteke probably has the majority of the votes but it's close though. Imo they both have their strenghts and weaknesses. Benteke is strong and is better at holding up the ball, Keeping possesion when under pressure with his back towards goal. Also technically more gifted and is able to play one touch balls into the path of infiltrating midfielders and wingers. His weakness is his finishing. He tends to need a lot of chances to score and sometimes misses easy goals. Lukaku is fast and strong and likes to run in behind the opposition but isn't as technically gifted and struggles to hold up the ball. He does have a better goalscoring ability then Benteke and his finishing is better then Benteke. That being said i think Benteke should be our nr 1 striker. Simply because i value Benteke's ability to keep hold off the ball higher then Lukaku's superior finishing.

Yes, his ankle was swollen. He was able to continue the game. After the game he said it hurt but that he doesn't think he'll miss the game on saturday.

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2573629/Toni-Duggan-sparks-outrage-blacking-face-fancy-dress-party.html Link to the article for the whole story but basically she went to a dress up party as whoopi goldberg (sister act) and blackened her face. People thought it was rascist and she ended up having to apologize. Seriously WTF ? How exactly can this be considered rascist ? Last i checked Whoopi Goldberg is black so to me it makes sense to blacken your face when you dress up like her. No ? This is something that keeps happening more and more these days even on this forum. Overreacting to anything that even remotely has the possibility of being considered racist. Funny part is that it's usually other white people that make a big deal out of this stuff. Peoples moral compass seems to go haywire in situations like these and it almost feels like whenever they see or hear something that can even be remotely considered rascist they have to proof to everyone and themselves that they're not rascist and overreact and condemn that person without actually looking if it's actually rascist. What's worse is that the female footballer actually had to apologize while imo she did nothing wrong. Sorry to go on a bit of a rant but this kinda thing just really annoys me. What does everyone else think of this.

Yeah that's true. I think he'll play 45 minutes. Our NT manager said he wouldn't risk Hazard and acknowlegded Hazard was tired. Hope he comes back unharmed. Like you said he's our main man now and we're gonna need him in top form.
-
89 minutes then ?

Maybe because you're a Torres fan who's been bitching about Eto'o at every chance he gets ? It's pretty clear that you have an agenda. Also when determining the level of sh*tness of a striker it makes sense to bring Torres into the conversation.
