Some want Lukaku others want Benteke to be our nr 1 striker. Think Benteke probably has the majority of the votes but it's close though. Imo they both have their strenghts and weaknesses. Benteke is strong and is better at holding up the ball, Keeping possesion when under pressure with his back towards goal. Also technically more gifted and is able to play one touch balls into the path of infiltrating midfielders and wingers. His weakness is his finishing. He tends to need a lot of chances to score and sometimes misses easy goals. Lukaku is fast and strong and likes to run in behind the opposition but isn't as technically gifted and struggles to hold up the ball. He does have a better goalscoring ability then Benteke and his finishing is better then Benteke. That being said i think Benteke should be our nr 1 striker. Simply because i value Benteke's ability to keep hold off the ball higher then Lukaku's superior finishing.

Yeah that's true. I think he'll play 45 minutes. Our NT manager said he wouldn't risk Hazard and acknowlegded Hazard was tired. Hope he comes back unharmed. Like you said he's our main man now and we're gonna need him in top form.

Yeah Wilmots said that with a camera on him while being interviewed so there should be some footage of it.

Yup That same newspaper wrote negative articles about Wilmots when he was manager and when confronted by it Wilmots said that it was because he didn't want to give any inside information like George Leekens did to them.

Oh and just something extra to make you understand what a cunt George Leekens was/is. He had a deal with one of the flemish newspapers to give them inside information and in return they wrote positive articles about him. This is not a rumour. Was confrmed by Marc Wilmots the manager of the NT now and assistent coach at the time.

A lot of his caps are from a young age and from sub ins. Also Belgium had a really poor team in the beginning when Hazard made his debut so there wasn't much support. When we finally did have a proper team George Leekens was our manager. Just to give you an idea of how it was for Hazard. There was this game vs Austria it ended 4-4. We were 4-3 up in extra time. Goalkeeper throws to Hazard who's on the halfway line. Apart from our striker our entire team was behind the ball. Hazard tries to go past the fullback. fullback takes the ball, passes to midfielder, midfielder puts a throughball in to the winger,Winger slides it between our goalie's legs. 4-4. Leekens afterwards in the Pressconference put the blame on Hazard (19-20 y old at the time) after that he was benched and put in the stands. When he finally did get his shot again. He was told not to dribble but just pass the ball. Hazard did but when he saw that he was about to be subbed (60th minute) he dribbled past 3 players and his shot went inches wide of the goal. Got subbed after that, didn't shake hands with the manager and just went straight to the dressing room. That's also when the hamburger "incident" happened.

First of all with abuse i meant complaining about him, not calling him names like cunt, etc... I'm not okay with that. Like i said i don't hate the guy. About the bolded part. I was talking about the more extreme fans of his. It's 1 thing supporting a player, it's a whole other thing blaming everyone else for Torres his mistakes or whenever someone complains about him coming up with : he won us THAT corner or he scored THAT goal against Barcelona.

Just to get back on the question why people give Torres abuse even when he's not playing. I can answer that. It's quite simple really. Atleast for me, can't speak for other people. He annoys me. Everytime i see Torres playing or sitting on the bench, even just looking at his thread pisses me off. It's not just because he's a massive waste of money or that he's not good enough for us. It's all the excuses i've heard. Tactics aren't right, not enough creativity, too much pressure on him because of Drogba, etc... It was always something and it's never Torres his fault. Excuse after excuse. I'm tired of it. I want him out. Sooner the better. Do i hate Torres? No i don't but i am annoyed by this whole situation and he's at the centre of it all. + the ridiculous fan support he still gets doesn't help.
