What annoys me about this is that he almost seems to intentionally get sent off. He knew when he flew in like that, he was going to be sent off and being on a yellow just makes it three times more stupid. He was top quality before that happened and led by example and that could have easily cost of the game after he went off. Not like we were losing so why did he lose his head?

Luiz was a cut above our defenders today imo. What he brings to our team is so underestimated. Time will tell but City will tell a lot how much we can cope without him.
-
Luiz was the best player on the pitch bar that stupid red card incident. He has Lacazette in his back pocket and was just a beast on the pitch. Now he is out against City in that crucial game end of the month. Anyway, some may see as points lost. I am just glad we did not crumble after that red.

Once again, been Palace best player by far. Southampton have controlled most of the game however he is the only one who is actually posing a threat and causing problems to Southampton. Man, his team mates need to improve big time and Zaha needs to return ASAP.

WOW. A lot of people are going overboard with thinking the likes of Musonda, Kenedy and Drinkwater will be starting. It will be a very strong team. This is our easiest team in our group however we cannot underestimate them and the 3 points is important. Conte will not make so many changes. Musonda will definitely not start. Drinkwater will not start either as he has had no football this season. He will get his start against Forest, not Tuesday. I doubt Christensen will play too. If there is a defensive change it will be Cahill coming in. People are just expecting us to go there with a under-strength team and win easily. I wouldn't mind seeing Kenedy start at LWB as he will not have much issues to deal with defensively and can be quite problematic on Tuesday. But sorry to disappoint people if they are expecting to see likes of Musonda start. Hazard and Willian will come in and be supporting Morata in attack. Once we have scored a few goals past them, then the more important players will be rested with Sunday in mind.

No exaggeration but I think he is up there with De Bruyne for the best crossers in the league. His accuracy at finding his man is brilliant. That is 2 assists for Morata this season which should of been 3 if Morata scored from Azpi cross against Spurs which should of been in the back of the net. He done a few last season but Costa's movement and aerial ability compared to Morata is not comparable. He scored a great header against Palace at Selhurst from a brilliant cross from Azpi but was no way near as effective in the air. Man, Azpi should be leading the assists charts. He is joint anyway. If he can keep, providing those crosses for Morata, he will add to his assists chart and Morata will continue scoring headed goals

His long range shooting is good. He has scored some spectacular goals form long range with his left and right foot whilst with us. Also some of his shots form range have good power and often have just been saved. But he is just such an unselfish player and shoots when he feels the right time is. No doubt though that he could shoot more and I would encourage it myself just because I know he is capable of getting a lot more goals.
-
I think that is what he wants to happen. He is prepared to wait till January imo.
-
FFS. Watch us not even be able to finalise the deal for Zappacosta and Drinkwater. WTF is so much teams turning us down?
-
Got to a point with us that even when we agree a fee for a player, you still don't get excited until the signature is signed on the dotted line. I had a fear about this happening and now look. You will come to regret it Ox anyway...

Probably tapping-up issue.

Thought he was quality today and a constant menace to Everton. I thought I was the only one who recognised it but glad sky sports and BBC gave him MOTM and MOTD2 gave him a special mention. He is so under-appreciated in here, it is actually crazy.
-
This was scheduled originally to be on Saturday however due to Everton participating in Europa League, the game was moved to Sunday. We played on Saturday at home 2 weeks ago against Burnley. But yeah, I will be watching fight as well then trying to get few hours sleep.
-
I am not saying he is ready to lead the line every game. I am saying he is good enough to be part of our squad and he will score goals if he is given minutes. The season is early and while he has flaws he has a lot of ability too. Very powerful, brilliant technique and good on either foot. He is a good player but just needs time. Selling him now would be ridiculously stupid. Last season he was barely given any opportunities until towards end of season. The season has just started and he has shown glimpses in pre-season and towards end of last season of what he was capable of. There is a big season ahead and players will improve. I am sure Bats will too.
-
He had a poor game against Arsenal and Burnley and Spurs was not enough time. Give him more time. Pre-season he impressed people and shown towards end of last season he can offer something. The season has barely started. Give the season time, and let's see how he gets on.. We should not even contemplate selling any more players. Because our fans are our players harshest critics. It was only couple weeks ago where everyone was getting on to Morata. There are top players like Kane who are notoriously rusty in August. I still think we should give him time and support as I do genuinely believe he will be a very useful addition this season.
-
Right now, Morata and Michy are our only 2 CF. Michy needs to stay unless we have a striker lined up. Morata is not going to start every game which is what you are insinuating. It took a couple of games for people to turn again to 'Michy is not good enough'. WOW. Morata will prob be the victim of this soon. WOW.
-
Willian was our best player against Burnley. Are you serious? Today after a slow first half, improved late second half and did an amazing run and shot which hit the post.
-
That is not true. His balance and hold up play is very good and second half he improved his hold up play. Morata posed a lot more problems second half on the ball too. Made a couple vital headed clearances and also ran the channels well and created couple good opportunities. Was amazing the way he outpaced Alderwerield and nearly carved out a goalscoring opportunity. Looking forward to seeing him play against Everton when for 1 game he will actually have better service. First game, he was playing with a 10 man team. Today he was isolated against a team dominating much of the ball. He will score goals for fun once he is being fed the ball more. Espec when Hazard is back.
-
Will be interesting to see what Conte does for this. Azpi looked more shaky against Spurs than the rest of our defenders imo and Christensen was very solid. I assume Luiz will go back in CB. Will be interesting to see who the other CB are. Prob be Azpi, Luiz and Rudiger but after Christensen's performance, Conte has tough choice. Also does Fabregas go back in? Helps our cause that Everton go to Croatia in the week. Win this and will be feeling reel happy going into international break with Hazard coming back who I think will not be risked. This game will be tough though. Koeman has bought some good players but think we should win this.
-
Crazy to think that he is so unappreciated but such a valuable asset. Scores goals, very good set piece taker and already got 2 goals for the season against Spurs of all teams. You have made my day Alonso. Let's try beat last season's best of 6. He is on 2 already.
-
For player who had no pre-season and is not fully fit, he done very well and lasted the 90 mins. Sometimes conceded cheap free kicks however showed a lot of pace and power and once he is fully fit, is going to be a big hit here.
-
Hopefully he can do us a big favour tomorrow. Big opportunity for him against United as with Llorente not ready to return yet, should defo start. Buzzing for him and hoping he can score a goal, even I think United will make easy work of Swansea.
-
You mentioned Conte agreeing the offer was too good to turn down so I said that Conte from what I have seen as refuted the sale and clearly not happy with the sale, espec to a rival.
-
It was a very good offer but no point in referring it as too good a offer to turn down when we aren't doing anything with the money and the only players we seem to be linked with are average or decent at best. The only thing I have seen Conte say is that "Matic is a big loss". I haven't see anything where he has approved of the transfer at all. Clearly taken out of his hands and if it was his way, Matic would still be here.
-
Early days but was brilliant today. Dominated that game, was the catalyst for the first goal, winning the ball back and just had that powerful and dominant swagger about him. Still don't understand what the board were thinking. Absolute madness. They really look the part and hey guess who helped them out? ...
