Asked if he still had ambitions to return to London, De Bruyne added: "Yeah, that's the reason that I signed". Love that!

I like Kalas as well but be aware that the pace and level of the PL is completely different from the Eredivisie. If he has the chance to go to say, a team like WBA on loan I am more than happy.

Why spend £25m (plus) on Fellaini when we have KDB. Does not make sense. The Bundesliga is rapidly improving and he has been one of the standout performers this season. Hopefully the staff see sense. It is a shame though that KDB is in obscurity about his role next season.

Player Focus: Chelsea Have the Brains but Not De Bruyne

LOL, love the heading -
http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8596109/Kevin-de-Bruyne-says-he-is-waiting-to-find-out-Chelsea-s-plans-for-him We have to keep him. It is a no-brainer. He is only going to get better and better. He is versatile, performing on club and international scene and if given the chance, I believe he can turn out to be a very valuable player next season, onwards.

Loans are very important and a major part in a player's development. Sturridge's loan helped him when he came back to Chelsea. Bertrand benefited with a couple of loans. Look at the likes of Welbeck at Sunderland who is now a firm part of the United squad. Same with Cleverley, who is now a regular started at United. The Wigan loan helped him greatly. If we don't give Chalobah minuted here he will not improve, compared to being out on loan at another team. Wilshere, the list goes on.
-
I have watched him several times and like you I think he is one of the best talents to have emerged from our academy. But, regardless how much progress he makes I would prefer him to be loaned out purely because there is a much bigger gap between Premiership and Championship quality. We already have Mikel, Romeu, Ramires, Lamps, Luiz can play there and we are very likely to see another addition. Chalobah will not get much first team chances next season and I can understand why. I treat him different to the Lukaku case because Chalobah is a bit younger than him and Lukaku has played international first team football and a season of Premiership football with a lower placed team. That is what Chalobah needs IMO before even being considered for the first team. By the time next season starts he still will be 18 and with the pressure that goes on with players at the club he will be best off getting football in a team with less pressure. That is how Lukaku has flourished and I am sure Chalobah can do the same. I have no doubts he will make it here, but is he going to be miles better than what we already have for next season? I am unsure and the staff here will not take a risk to see if that is the case, I am sure anyway.

Definitely. I thought at first when he moved to Swansea that we are rushing him too quickly with the hope up following in Wilshere's footsteps too quickly. We rushed him too much and he should have gone to a championship team. Let's also be aware that Josh was 18/19 last season. The same age Chalobah will be when Josh was out loan to Swansea. I hope we don't rush him into the first team too quickly. While people will say a loan to a Prem club will best suit him, I would be very content if he is still on loan at the Championship last season. But I think some lower team in the table will take a risk on him and if so, that is good. He is only 18 and while many believe his performances for Watford should mean he warrants a chance in the first team the expectations and level is much different. I have no problems with him playing PL next season, but preferably I would rather it be at another club on loan. Watford would be perfect fi they go up. We don't need to rush him into our first team, like you said.
-
Definitely the most skillful player we have had in our ranks for along time here I would say along with Hazard. His performances in our youth cup run a few seasons ago is just a joy to watch.
-
Put it this way, if Watford can gain promotion with Zola in charge I firmly hope Chalobah goes back to Watford again on loan next season. I would like to see him in a Chelsea shirt which I am sure we will see some time but I will have no problem with him being loaned out again next season.

Arshavin got four once as well

Juko and the Despiadado accounts are the same person I am sure. They both have their have favourite players listed as no one and have similar pics and while they contribute, some of their posts just seem a bit childish.
-
I think I get it now. Think Juko is saying that Courtois is a prime example of a player who joins Chelsea, not really because he loves the club but because they want to just get money. Well it may have a part he money, but he obviously seems ambition here and likes our vision for him in the future. Plus when he was at Genk, we were the only major club who I remember showing any interest in him and really it was a no-brainer, considering we were going to send him out on loan to very good teams with him being no.1 there and he obviously is assured he will return here as no.1 one day.

Don't understand what you mean.

Was going to post that then realised you done it for me Quality read and very re-assuring. Just piss off Arsenal.

Should be an excellent semi-final. Two teams with really talented players.. Hopefully we can get to the final and most importantly win it. BTW, Brendan Rodgers as hinted that he will give Raheem Sterling a run out, a player who has played a huge part of Liverpool's first team this season. They also have Ibe who is tipped to be one of their next big things. Hope Sterling plays. Will be an intriguing battle. Can't wait!

NOT GOING TO HAPPEN.

Andreas Christensen is another exciting talent we have got in the youth ranks here and we beat off big competition to sign him. Like Baker, Feruz, Davey etc he regularly features for the U21s . He has really impressed the staff at Chelsea and is another one who I expect to in the first team some time eventually. He is a 1st year scholar who is one of them exciting ball playing defenders. Likes to play with the ball, similar to Vertonghen or as the club website states plays in a very similar style to Carvalho. I remember watching one of the reserve games against Fulham where JT made his comeback and Christensen was partnered with him at CB and was excellent and he is only going to get better. Some of the work of our youth coaches and scouting team have been brilliant in uncovering these exciting new talent here. Also excited to see Kiwomya's development as well. Scores for fun, can play on wings and upfront and is only recently a school leaver. He probably is the fastest player at Chelsea, senior and youth. -

Yes, you are right, however the youth team should already have praise. We have won the youth cup like 3 times in the last 4/5 years and we are a leading contender to win it again. -
Cavani is officially back!

What a goal from our Cazorla! Bang! -
Surprised there is no thread for Baker on the youth team profiles. 2nd year scholar and is a permanent fixture in the U21 side. Excellent with both feet, like Cazorla. Has scored quite a few this season. Highly regarded at the club and a very versatile player. Should be one for the future. A loan move beckons for him soon I reckon. Has improved massively this season and has a made a step up to reserve team football. You will not know which foot he is

I am quite looking forward to Wigan and Newcastle. Should be a good game. Wigan need to win. The one I am not really looking forward to is Sunderland and Norwich, however that has a purpose as Sunderland are still around the dangerzone. I am annoyed that our game against Southampton was scheduled for T.V. Was looking forward to watching that but now it has been moved to a 3.00 kick off on the Saturday which means Sky will not broadcast it. Argh!

I don't want us to go splashing out on a striker. I like Falcao and Cavani, great strikers but Falcao will be around £45m plus which is too much for a striker IMO, especially as if we have seen with Torres. Cavani, I like him a bit more than Falcao but he has gone 8 games without a goal IIRC, might even be 9 or 10 but 8 games alone is quite a drought for a striker of his calibre. No striker we get is going to guarantee us excessive goals, all depends how they fit in the system. I would like Ba and Lukaku to have a full season here. Milan have had faith in El Shaarawy to lead their line and look how well Milan are doing now. They are not too far from 1st position, although Juve are likely to win the league but it shows if you are good enough, you're old enough. Everyone was saying when they sold Ibra if they did not sign a top striker they will struggle. El Shaarawy is like in top 3 category goalscorers in Serie A. There is no reason why Lukaku cannot do the same. Especially as Lukaku is more of a natural striker than El Shaarawy. Like 'The only place to be' said, you just have to sometimes step out and state the guy is ready and give him a chance.
