That is if the club wants to negotiate. In this case, why would Barcelona want to sell the best player in the world? Obviously I don't know what they think but if they want to keep him then I imagine that they would reject even if the bid is $1 less than the buy out. And I don't know how rich agents are to be able to pay millions of pounds/euros. I really don't know myself, I just remember reading about the buy out clause months ago.
