I love watching foreign teams like Al-Ahly SC. I always have this rather ignorant idea that if you're not from one of the top 10 or-so leagues, you don't know how to play football properly. Then again, I also have the belief that any player can be good enough given the right coaching. Anyway this is a pleasant game.

One thing which will be good for our players - Corinthians don't seem to press the opposition much (judging by this game anyway). Instead they wait for individual mistakes - which I believe we're making allot less in midfield these days as well as upfront. I'm worried however that we won't have anyone in the double pivot to control the pace which I believe will be very important. Hopefully Lampard steps up from his previous performances (which I'm confident he can do).

Make no mistake guys, Corinthians are a really good side. It's a shame to see them being underestimated just like Juventus and Shakhtar were by many on here. Personally I'd actually say they're favourites to win the CWC ahead of us.

Doesn't he currently play as a defensive midfielder... but if he came here most likely play as an anchorman? I don't see this move making sense if we're sticking with a 4-2-3-1 (which we are). If we were still playing a 4-3-3, a midfield trio of Busquets, Oscar (in a more restricted role) and Ramires would make some sense.

Good to see Villa beat Norwich City. Villa have been a bogey team in recent seasons for us, but they're just soooo weak this season. Norwich City on the other-hand look to be becoming a bogey team for us and our players are just crap at marking Holt.

I just absolutely love this guy to be honest. At times he comes out of the back a bit too far (like Luiz) but it's much rarer that he does that compared to Luiz. He's very solid. Not sure about his height, but isn't he a little short to be a Premier League central defender? I know it's not ALL about height and strength in this league, but he looks around the same height as Azpi.

He hasn't done it on a rainy night at Stamford Bridge!! To truly set in stone that you are the greatest, this challenge must be concurred.

Not to put anything against his goals, but the 2 central defenders he's up against are from the opposition's U21 & U19 team. Sooo it's kind of like Falcao vs. shit versions of Chalobah and Pappoe.

He seems to play best centrally as a creative striker, just off of another striker. No idea how he'd fit into our system if we gave him a cup game or 2 eventually.

This comparison is usually used far too much.. but honestly, just watch some videos of Messi when he was in Barcelona's academy or "B" team. Pretty much like that from what I can see.
