I heard that Messi will be injured until after the quarters, so this really is the perfect time to play them. Xavi is the only one I've seen on their score sheet recently and we should be able to take him.
-
apparently he changed his mind. http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id...845&cc=5901 Shame, he would be pretty good here i think. actually i heard Jose was going to go there and Mancini here. would be so bad.
-
^ not a bad choice. Im sure he'd do well with our squad ATM, at least go farther in the UCL.
-
ya they are a good attacking side but Sevilla shipped 5 goals past them in 2 games. I think defence is their weak spot, but it isn't for us...
-
^ well then, he gave me more than what I thought. When Jose first left, I along with others, were worried that Chelsea wouldn't be able to qualify for the UCL.
-
aslong as he isn't the manager!
-
yes, that is exactly what footie in America is...LOLZ
-
Doesn't Hughes want to be the Man Utd boss someday? I read somewhere that it was his goal to be manager there. I wouldn't be against the idea though
-
we should beat Derby, Sunderland, and Boro but I'm not sure about the other two. If we snatch any points off of them then i'll be satisfied, along with keeping our home record.
-
ya, we really should win our next 2 games. Man you will be top b/c they play Derby next and Arsenal will be a point behind, lovin' the fact that they are dropping points all the time now. We can't mess this up if we have any chance of of winning the BPL or even coming 2nd.

lol Arsenal held by Wigan... 3rd consecutive draw.

Word Of Appreciation To Barnsley!

^ ya. We were the ones who played so horribly and they deffo deserved to win. Congrats to them, I hope they end up winning it. -
What a horrible game. what a horrible season. We're aren't going to win anything and we deserve it too. Shame on everyone, Grant + the players (except Joey who worked his ass off). Any 11 from our squad should have been able to beat them but we didn't, Barnsley deffo deserved to win though. It is so embarrassing to be a Chelsea fan now, I especially feel bad for those of you who have friends that actually pay attention to the FA Cup. The only thing that is remotely positive that I can take from this is that HAS be Grant's last season being boss. We have underachieved a hell of a lot under him and we'll deffo be trophy-less this season. If RA can't tell that something is wrong now... I've lost all hope.
-
seriously...what is this?
-
its not bad, but ya, i like the one that we have now better.
-
Gah! Sheva not even on the bench
-
this is a great opportunity for us! we cant mess this up now!
-
Well done Pompey! I heard that Rio Ferdinand was in goal too lol!
-
Im pretty sure that number is the amount of goals he has scored this season...last season he scored a total of 14 so that can't be right
-
^ too right. If Gerrard and Torres were out they wouldn't win very many games, i just don't see where the goals would come from. Benitez is crazy, the fact that he doesn't play Crouch w/ Torres is insane, his other strikers don't score. period. haha, you wrote that like you forgot about Newcastle... now that is a team that is in a pit fall.
-
I hope Ivanovic plays but he probably wont  It would be nice if we could win convincingly again but I'm not expecting too much. I'll be happy anyway we go through, we need to get to Wembly, we've got a point to prove.
-
Even though I would like one of Schalke or Fernabahçe i really don't think we will get an English club (boo...) or Barcelona. Ya me thinks we'll get Barça...we haven't met them yet in this campagin and history says that we have to.

AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi has said he wants Sheva back at Milan again today. I really think he will be going this summer... Its deffo going to be bitter-sweet for me personally. I hate that Sheva has become sort of a laughing stock in England and really wanted him to be the star he was at Milan here, but that didn't happen. He was given enough time to settle in England (as said by many Chelsea fans, repeatedly) and I guess it's just time to go back to where he knows, at least he tried. I know he will at least play at Milan (esp w/ injuries), the fans still love him there, he is a Legend. I just want him to retire on a high note, and I don't think that that would happen here sadly Sheva at Chelsea is a dream come true, my favorite player at my favorite team, but leaving would be what is best for him
-
^ lol. When I first heard about the Rijkaard rumor I was pretty excited b/c let's face it, ANYONE is better than who we've got. But I honestly think we could do better than the Barça boy. He knew how to handle big stars but not any more...now he is just randomly rotating Messi, Eto'o, Henry, and Ronaldinho even though Messi and Eto'o deserve to play every game. He is just too nice about it, which is why Jose seems like the one who is gonna replace him. Everyone seems to think he is deffo off in the summer regardless of being sacked, but I think he is gonna take a break from managing anyways, so we should maybe look elsewhere. I would be happy with anyone of Ancelotti, Lippi, or Hiddink, but then again anything is a step up from what we've got.
-
good win, shame it wasn't 4-0 though. I really wanted Didi to score b/c maybe then he would see how good he has got it at Chelsea...he deffo seemed like he wasn't really in it today. Ballack and Lampard are really playing really well together now, along with Maka in midfield. And how they are setting up goals for each other....lovin' that hey did anyone see Lampsy's new boots? nice...
