Fuck important goals, we're talking about £28m (plus the £3m loan fee Everton paid last year) for a player who never scored a goal for us at all.
Whoever's negotiating these deals on behalf of the board deserves a raise. Mata £37m, KdB £18m, David Luiz £50m and Lukaku £28m gives us a total of £133m in the space of just six months. Add that to the reasonable prices we've paid for our new signings and that's a job very fucking well done.

Some of you should get a fucking grip and be more positive about this. This is Jose and Chelsea board we are talking about, not a bunch of amateurs like Spurs ready to sell at the very first offer or splash the cash on every mug out there.
If Jose is selling his 2nd best striker for €35m, then it means he already has something else prepared.
There is no way Chelsea is selling Lukaku just for the sake of getting some extra money. I want to believe this is the money that will fund the Pogba deal.
