Have you guys forgotten how jealous fans of other clubs got when we signed him? I've got a man-utd. fan friend who tries to remind me every now and then that chelsea paid hazard's agent a two million (?) pound bonus and that was the only thing that prevented him from joining the reds. :lol2: Believe me lads, every news paper and every self-righteous pundit will try to convince us that we've paid too much for hazard and that we're paying him too much until he proves his talent beyond doubt. Along with Mata and Oscar I feel like we've got a real gem in our hands.

Oscar did not start every game and he has more physical presence than Mata or Hazard. I see you just don't rate him as high as I do.

Then you should also be considering Mata and Hazard for the bench. Oscar is no less talented or less important. The guy is very gifted and I'm nervous he will be a victim of yet another talent destruction at Chelsea FC.

Roman spent hundreds of millions of pounds with out getting a pound back in profit to make CFC an European power house, he deserves a lot more credit than he's getting.

You spoke my mind sir. I've always believed that our squad this season is not built for territorial defense. Last season our team was able to defend with its back to the wall and they seldom cared about what the opponent does with the ball in its own half. It worked perfectly in our favor because the players were groomed to play that way since the days of Jose Mourinho. They had a good sense of position, great deal of endurance and focus to keep a highly mobile and unpredictable attacking teams like Barcelona and Bayern at bay. That is not the case anymore. Our club has spent in excess of $100 million to bring in creative attacking midfielders. I believe Pep Guardiola is the best candidate to make this young talents world class players around whom we can build the new chelsea team.

lads suggesting we use full backs as wingers when we have all these quality AMs...you are beyond help . Why us? don't they have more to fear than us?

I like the fact that, starting from center, he is naturally inclined to drift more to the right. Our left side is over crowded at the moment (and I want marin to be given a chance there). I would love us to play a narrow diamond mid of mata/marin/hazard(front tip)/oscar in front of somebody big (preferably mikel of mireles) as a DM in a 4141 lining.
