  1. I tell u what guys.. as things are now, Lampard will be the end of one more manager before he retires
  2. but some of those who were adherent to the players back then are now with the manager and they're having it both ways
  3. can't agree enough. We need to be able to possess the ball and pin the opposition down in their own box area for a considerable amount of time to create these chances. Not only are we incapable of doing that but we have made not doing it our identity (some of us have even the audacity to rubbish such way of playing). In my opinion the problem has much to do with our build up play than the lack of certain quality in the squad. It is not just the pivot (although much of the blame should go to them) as it might clearly seem. I believe it is the combination of the way the whole squad is positioned when Cech rolls the ball out to the defendersthe attacking midfielders not helping the back six in the build upthe tendency of our defenders not to pass to players in a 'tighter' holes b/n opposition linesour inability to press the opposition, force mistakes and recycle possession (can't stress on this enough)I believe JM is a clever guy and he understands these problems and more, he just need to grow some balls and take action
  4. @Clevemayer, Exactly that ... I want Mou to be here for years to come, I really like the guy and after the Catalan cunt left us hanging, I'm gratified with our fate with JM as our coach. It has become such a cliche saying this but its very very frustrating to see a pivot not working hard to press, tackle or start attacks at chelsea.. a pivot that's the least talented among teams not just in the top 6 but I dare say the entire upper half of the table ... attacking midfielders as gifted as the ones we're blessed to have deserves a much better midfielder pair than they're getting right now ... and I'm tiered of convincing folks that all this aint hating on Lampard, I've a great deal of love and respect for the guy, I'm a chelsea fan fcs... but when its over, it is OVER
  5. I know this has been said quite a lot but, as long as we don't fix the pivot or change line up, we won't get any better ever ... in his current position, lampard will never be as good as dembele, paulinho, fernandiniho or even arteta ...
  6. sorry for the french but .. fuck this experience bs, what's the 'experience' of an old slow bear to a young tiger, huh? ... if we are not winning games then we should at least be phasing out the old guys ... even if jose succeeds in making hazard and mata more defense conscience, the chelsea way (i.e. deep in our own half) its would only be with a trade-off of their attacking potential ... but, that aint even the problem, Jose had said, to my excessive delight, I might add, that he wants to play a high line defense with a lot of pressing to be done by the entire AMs and DMs ... the crazy thing is that he expects Lamaprd to do the pressing ...
  7. it is so fucking obvious that its the midfield ... every other big team can pin an inferior team to their own box except us, why? that's because our midfielders can not recycle possession and pass vertically for a change ... unless we can do that we can not make use of our superior creativity at the final third ... revamp the fucking pivot, FFS!!! PS: oh and why the fuck are they letting Ivanovic to cross every fucking time?? he can't cross the ball to save his moma
  8. whoa! .. this is so persuasive, I clearly must have something in my eyes.
  9. Oh frankie frankie frankie .... I'd rather have him as a number 10 than in the pivot anymore... he's so poor right now, its painful :(
  10. what's done is done ... but we all know he wasn't given a chance, not a single start before he was shipped out, its really sad ... and guys saying 'he isn't good enough for chelsea yet'.. that aint the point, the point is he wasn't given a chance to show what he had to offer and we ended up with those inferior to him...I hope he does show he is better than all of our current strikers and I'm sure JM is man enough to stand corrected.
  11. the special one can not fuck this much up even if he tries
  12. signing Gundogan is too good to happen
  13. people need to get used to players being benched, TSO is back and we're over stacked with quality in some areas
  14. would love to see cech Ivan Luiz Cahill Cole Oscar Ramirez Lampard Hazard Mata Schurrle give the false 9 another chance, lets go 'total football' on their ass
  15. their best Center Back partnership = ours our full backs = theirs their pivot >>>> ours our AMs >>> theirs their striker > ours our manager > theirs I think they have the edge
  16. was watching the spuds game last night ... I'm fucking scared
  17. on the bright side of things, we now once more have a manager with balls and he understands the need for change ... I'm enjoying Jose talking about high blocking (as he calls it ), repossessing the ball quickly in the opposition half, the need for keeping the ball on the ground for we don't have DD any more and that we will never try to get back to the old ways of doing things ... its really great listening all these from Jose cause some of us were expecting the opposite
  18. I know it is not the same, I didn't claim it was ... but the fact that he went public with the issue didn't help .. I'm glad he talked about high line defense and the need for the number 10 role to press the midfield, that was exactly what I had in mind. But, again, he could have avoided saying "Mata needs to learn playing my way" , "Oscar is my number 10", "Mata had a better stat because Oscar was playing wide and was helping to defend" ... he was better off not saying any of those things, IMHO PS: especially on the part where he defended Oscar's stat last season against that of Mata, I think Jose fell in to the pundit's trap ... it was rather an emotional statement, totally uncalled for
  19. how did that work for Casillas and Pepe? ... I'm sure that's the excuse but ... we'll see, I guess
  20. I don't have a problem with jose benching Mata (he has backed his decision with a very persuasive argument, IMO) but beside making his point about the decision, why hammer the lad with public criticism? why say Oscar is the number 10 and Mata has to adopt playing the inverted winger role? Why mention the two players in a comparative way?
  21. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2426677/Jose-Mourinho-I-didnt-like-way-Chelsea-played-before.html 'I don’t want a low block with long balls to a only striker, I don’t want central defenders in midfield. We must have better results. We are the not the kind of club to wait years for a team. Football is not magic. Tomorrow maybe we win 3-0 and it becomes perfect. Maybe we lose and it becomes a big story.' now you're talking Jose, way to go my man
  22. according to some, no one in our squad is brilliant, there never was one and never will be ... dumb ass idiots ... may be that's why we will never have a balon d'or winning player. When a player is worth it, like Mata is, you need to stand behind him no matter what, make the system work for him ... you don't moan with every bad game he'll have. This is time for action, Jose... stop thinking and act, pull Oscar to the pivot bring in Mata and make the defenders press the opposition like David is doing... OR bring back Mikel to the starting 11, use Willian and Eden to flank who ever you choose as a striker and sell Mata 'cause he is too good for this shit.
