apart from JT think AVB will change this team completely again---alot of minutes played mid week and he'll not risk most of them for this game...will want to put this to bed early and then make changes... Turnbull ( give cech more rest for CL) Bos..Bran..JT..Ash .......Mikel/Raul Ramires...Josh Nico..Nando..Mata Drogs at half-time or last half hour.....Lamps, Luiz or Bertrand, romeu could get a shout at some stage, hopefully when we're leading comfortably

you can't really call our team "young" on sunday.......Mata, Sturridge, and Ramires apart, we had a pretty experienced team....just new system and speed compare utds to ours and look at the experience they already have gained....Smalling, Evans, Jones, De Gea, Young, Anderson, Rooney, Little prick , possibly Valencia too.......more like an Arsenal team only sent out with the balls to win a game..... give ferguson his due, we may not like him but he has always brought youth through and given them the experience and gets them totally focused and in tune with their style/system from early......... .hopefully AVB can do this and get a system that works for us (i like the one he's trying now)............this may mean that the whole youth systems have to change/adapt his style now, (defend high up) rather than, continue with the mourinho legacy of defence first -----that possibly still applies in youth teams (tho if this still happens i'm not sure of )

went for mikel....excellent...held it all together...raised his game prob because he seen how well raul played last weekend.......their keeper kept them in the game, really he should get motm

great post------------------hopefully pre season we can combine the youth and the experience and get a more urgent way of playing in our game...also i hope in a way there is not the mad exodus of players like last summer, we seen how that affected us when the injuries occurred......in january i never thought we would make 4th never mind be sitting 2nd and within a game of going top again.------maybe carlo did get them playing for the club!!.....maybe his laid back style affected them since wilkins left??---maybe it was the easy start to the league that give us a false sense of things to come!!---still proud to say we are in the top two after a third of the season passed us by------onwards and upwards and lets get the youth in and have another team to be proud of for the next 10 years....

honestly can't see us getting a win on sunday----maybe a draw---i know people think webb will favour them, prob not intentionally, but they'll get the big shouts--(mikel, luiz, essien will be lucky to stay full 90 without a red) but they are really playing with alot of confidence at the moment and have a full set to consider (they set up against le arse to hit them on the break again and not concede, but i think last nights game was maybe playing on their minds -- (bluenose obv didn't tell who was playing and not))-----look at the team he sent out last night---(carlo wouldn't have done that in a million years) almost a 2nd string---we'd have played our 1st team and made changes around 70th minute.... he has got confidence running through their squad----why?? ------ because he has played and trusted these players throughout the year and because of the new system he has been playing mostly this year (learnt poss off benitez, as we know to our cost over the years and perfect for europe)---4231----with the 2nd holding player given a licence to go forward whenever----great mobility on the wings and "interchangeability" (if theres such a word)in the middle of the park...they play the ball quickly..1st touch passes etc----our midfielders/forwards etc almost always have to take a 2nd touch or run with the ball..slow/methodical passing and movement---main reason torres is struggling--can only make so many runs and knows the ball is not coming his way------next year has to be the year we change/play quicker---play younger players in the team more often and give the experience....our system is too static that even the poorer teams can stop us scoring and snatch one on the break Rednose only needs a draw---so will set up for same with quick breaks--we struggle to break them down and get caught on the break------we really need to score very early..thats why i'm going for a draw poss 1--1
