  1. yes it was a great performance---some excellent `individual` performances against a very hard working, robust and at times pretty physical Bolton ( i thought they had changed there style--got that one wrong) However, (there always is an however these days) Once again we started off very slow and methodical, but against this maybe Carlo knew Bolton would throw everything and everybody at us early doors An early goal---what a difference it makes to the team and the oppositions plans (see Utd games and Barca (they scored after 1min 36secs) and how easy it becomes for them) A crucial and brilliant stop by Cech---different game if that went in---shows importance of him this season A Drogba with a winning and determined game head on----brings the team on and players around him A bit of luck (Elmanders effort of Cech) what we have been missing for so long good points Ramires showing the energy required to get outta the period Mikel-----showing the physical power and ability to control the game and protect the defence Change of game plan (esp after we scored) Ash & Bos held a line behind the front three, so the defence were not stretched and caught on the counter, and ultimately give front three space to move.. played with patience and not chasing a second. JT & Bran for their physical capabilities to withstand Bolton and not panic under there pressure Josh -- what a cool kid on the ball Anelka for his constant movement and playing further up field. bad points Essiens passing (tho it and he got better in the last 10 minutes) why we didn't challenge the ref for the penalty decision we're back!!!!!
  2. reminds me alot of `Mutu`------ great hunger to win and pretty fast and skillful with it.......................(just stay away from that dodgy stuff)
  3. everton away next round----utd away to soton
  4. corners-----------whats the point of them!!! may as well tell the opposition to take a goal kick....no-one seems to attack the ball, its nearly always a defender who heads it clear or keeper catches freely. No variation on corners, ---the mancs, scum and le arse can all come up with something different. For Drogs to be a big man (and very useful defending our corners/freekicks) how come he scores very few with his head---------Kalou/Boss + Ash/Flo getting to the byline is pointless cos every cross in is usually so easily defended---hes never there like centre forwards of old putting the fear of God (or whatever idol you have) into the defence/keepers i'm still spitting feathers after last nights performance (and past few months) so maybe i should relax for awhile and let the blood settle again (until sunday!!!)
  5. woeful, just fucking woeful----------its a long time since i seen such a shit performance (team) what more can Carlo do??------stop their fucking big wages and see if they can play for pride!!!! this is not just a knee-jerk reaction----its being gathering momentum since september.... Drogba-----------fucking anonymous ( for 2 months) Anelka-----------did you touch the ball Sturridge------- like a rabbit caught in the lights ( why did we pay any money for this) Lamps----------nowhere JT----------------snarling wont win matches--leading will Essien---------how many fucking touches before you pass and let the opposition recover Boss-----------cant defend on one leg and one trick going forward Ash------------ same movement and passes and runs and whinges every game fuck --- i could go on---------------apart from Cech we are fuckin crap
  6. thank fcuk his agent/whoever was only using us to get a new contract--------he showed his true colours against Barca tonight--- he was pure shite....(tho rest of the team was the same) Jose has his work cut out there.....defence useless, one trick (nowhere near best in the world) and Ave maria are passengers which meant the midfield and defence were overrun by barca's movement/passes and individual class (esp Messi)
  7. i just cant understand this F N "slow slow slow" football we've started to play, 1st half hour of the last 6-8 games and esp champs lge games---we always seem to get punished and then have to find another gear---can we F N not start at top speed and tie up the game then start knocking it around like "le Arse/Barca"---look at games we have bombed on from the start, we destroy teams early, then we cruise through them... anyway back to the performances--- Turnbull, hadn't much to do but seemed confident on his crosses---- PVA, done well attacking wise, but seemed to struggle defensively in 1st half, tho not overly stretched, can be good cover for Ash esp in FA cup ----- Bruma, apart from the goal, quieter night than he would have thought.----- Josh, great composure, tho some sloppy in passes 1st half and no need for the "70 yard st gerard of the scouse" passes but keen to get on the ball, so great starting debut..----- Kakuta----some lovely touches and crosses, but needs to get on the ball more and attack the defence just like Kalou done.still good show, still young and will learn from more playing time with older players--- Sturridge-----played well, sometimes too keen and/or maybe too many flicks, and wants to shoot all the time instead of passing/playing one-twos, caused them trouble all night and glad he scored, a player that will be invaluable come the new year.. as regards the senior players, apart from Paulo and Bran, were the rest bothered 1st half?. . Kalou seemed to give them all life 2nd half or was that Carlo raising his voice in the dressing room??
  8. the worrying stats out of that for me is::: the number of saves he's had to make!!!! shows somethings wrong in our midfield/defence compared to prev years....
  9. game against Brum i'm sorta nervous about but the one against Newcastle could be worse.....what if Bruma doesn't work out and Bran gets his fifth card?? Carlo has to keep Ash and Boss on a tight lease for these games and give the centre of defence more help......Mikel has to be even more industrious in the middle ( tho has been player of the year so far). Ramires has to show that he is a Brazilian and control/keep the ball better....and of course the front 3 has to work their nuts off.. Maybe the 442 is the better option and keep things tight and sneak the i--0 for next few games..
  10. aguero------fcuk he goes down as easy as last years drogba or the one trick pony...took his goals well tho...still need convincing he's good enough for the blues.....JT doesn't think so...he snarled at him a few times
  11. so would i...lets hope they don't fall into the usual trap of winning easy ad feckn struggling next game---would be happy with 2--0 on sat... stream up and down so only seen parts of game--turnbull looked sound on crosses, alex and ivan looked solid and paulo was a good cover for ash--disappointed in sturridge but then its his first start so will take a few more games (poss needed for acn in jan), joey to many flicks..do the basics first (rem what jose told you) midfield had the easiest game i've ever seen them have---all in all a good night now bring on the same at the weekend
  12. so much for a big reaction to the wigan game-----we were made to look like a fucking 2nd rate championship side-------------we'll win fuck all with that kind of display------passing game my ass---thank god for essien, he kept something together-------we need to improve big time before sunday or those scouse cunts will have a field....can drogs and co lift us that much??????? rant over.... another 3 points and without drogs & bos so just about going well in this group....now bring on sunday!!!!!!!!!!!
  13. think he'll go with Bos-----Ivan---JT-------Ash -------------Obi ---Ballack------------Essien ------------Lamps----------- ---Drogs------------Anelka/Sturridge need bit of muscle for this one i feel
  14. totally agree------every time some t*t runs the team or manager down during a game, should be banned for a week from this site---they are just those type of supporters who will be following citeh in a few years ,should they come up on the rails with the top 4 remember k t f
  15. the wee kun t mind you after watching the 1st half---50mill saved -------------- so far
  16. just after reading a few of the "red tops", just to see if they could praise the team performance any!! -------do these cunts actually go and watch games or just make up stories from beeb/sky reports -------pathetic bit of journalism -------even sunderland fans on forum sites comment on how it was a totally onesided game and gulf in class, do the red tops , do they fuck, just look for openings of how we struggle (this just reminds me why i don't buy or read them anymore--twats) ------Bos + deco and also kalou marked at 6 yet most others marked at 7--just pick the usual performers and give them the highest markings rant over for now ktbffh
  17. sorry ,don't mean to put a downer on it but we still have to realise who we were playing --i know it was brilliant football esp 2nd half with the movement and style that ancellotti (and roman) wants and i hope we can keep that up for rest of the season..also deco fits the tip of the diamond better than lamps (who's more a worker/powerhouse player than deco). hope ancellotti can rotate deco and joey in that position. btw i pretty confident about the season too
  18. kez, don't get too carried away just yet---it was hull and sunderland, not utd and le arse
  19. bos motm for me closely followed by deco-----well done ballack-----------good team performance but please why do we have to go behind before we up our game---------------- as i said before always keep the faith---- more experience for sturridge and more luck for kalou we'll start putting teams away easier with this diamond and can rest drogs and anelka for the big ones
  20. ivan is winning all the duels with bent and jones, deco is moving well, kalou at the moment is doing more than drogs...if anyone should be replaced its him and ballack----ballack is just no danger in and around the box anymore--------if lamps can score 20 a season surely he can come up with more (and i'm a big ballack fan) we're playing well, just need a break like they got(2nd game a ball deflect into a forwards path)------keep the faith we'll score
  21. went for Ribery--need someone to create something or at least chaos in opposition defence-----------would love to see Benzema but the prices are rising for all these players-----tho' they will come down again once we've sorted who we're buying/bringing in this summer!!
  22. much much better than Alves----struggled for a time with his defending but Guus seems to have sorted that part of his game out, this was quite evident against barca, and attack only when needed not every time be ahead of midfield. exceptional athlete. I think Bos has been up there along with Ashley and Obi, who have been immense all season, (these two stood out when we were struggling under scolari) looking forward to next season now that Bos & Ash have shown they are the two best full backs in league.
  23. over 40 years following the Blues, always have and always will--will not be put off by some prick on net showing his bigotry and thickness-- -have never followed any local Irish team, (not even in the Celtic nor Rangers camp.) T Cas Dublin is the capital of Ireland, in which there are several teams there, that play in the League of Ireland, i never really followed this League with much more than a passing interest. Italy will be coming to Ireland in September for WC qual to play in Croke Park, a magnificent stadium , which hold 82.000, and borrowed temporarily, from the amateur sport here that is greatly followed and played more than association football, its called GAA or Gaelic football. playing there while there new stadium is being built at Lansdowne Road. if you make it over, enjoy the trip, but hopefully not the result you want you will find us very friendly unlike our "friend" above----enjoy a with us KTBFFH
  24. you dickhead --- are in the same "league" as Megson
