  1. I'm assuming you haven't been to Manchester. It is the most boring, drab city to live in! Pogba has family and friends in London and if the world is his oyster and he can pick where he gets to play his football I assure you Manchester will not be on the radar! Paris have a better chance than City if I'm honest.
  2. There is no way its 80M pounds I think a lot of the time what happens is £ and € get switched around quite easily. http://www.express.co.uk/sport/football/564291/Juventus-Chelsea-Man-Utd-Paul-Pogba
  3. I'd would expect people to have question marks about a 22yr old its normal. Put it this way, if DiMaria is 64M and Koke is a reported 50M then Pogba is in and around than price for sure.
  4. He's good enough to play anywhere on the earth. The fact we're in talking with his agent is music to my ears! I've made it no secret how much I feel this guy is close to the perfect Mourinho player and if we succeed in signing him we could dominate for years to come! He is without question the next big superstar in the game.
  5. So let me get this straight, I point to the record with Oscar in the team, the stats he's acquired over the season, the fact that Jose always picks him, the fact Jose has sent many people packing and kept him, the fact that he plays in most of our big games and that we win them! and you point to the opinion pieces of 7 people on a fan forum? I mean no offense to the posters you've sighted here, clearly they are entitled to their opinion just like you are, but how does that prove anything? anyways I've wasted enough time doing away with this nonsense. You keep shifting the goalposts but I keep scoring, its a fun exercise but at a certain point I get bored... I have no problem with Oscar, he's proven to be a very good squad guy and clearly plays because Jose see's that too. If he leaves so be it, my allegiance is to winning and the badge. In Jose I trust if he thinks Oscar is good enough and the results keep coming in then I have nothing to complain about. Carefree at the top of the table! Thanks in part to Oscar!
  6. Yes keep getting mad at your computer screen! hahaha!! This is getting embarrassing and not just the numerous spelling errors and poorly formed arguments. Everything you've said so far has been met with contradiction which is the lowest form of intelligence since it shows you don't know what you're talking about. Let the ignorance continue OSCAR'S LINE AGAINST LIVERPOOL 5 shots 2 on target(the most in the team) 3 key passes pass % 83% 2 dribbles 5 tackles why am I doing your homework for you? What more of an argument do I need than the fact that he plays the majority of the games that we win, that our manager got rid of DeBruyne, Mata and prefers him over Willian, he has the 3rd most goals and second most assists and tackles more than any other AM we have? Everyone one of your arguments has been dismissed effortlessly by cold hard facts. There is no need to argue. Your opinion is fine but when you fabricate nonsense to support a weak 'argument' its gonna be met with laughter and ridicule. You say we're better without him than with him, that's been dispelled. You asked why he doesn't play in big games? another myth easily dispelled... You said what has he contributed? I give you cold hard facts and you still can't come up with a logical alternative. Brother maybe its time you stop making wild allegations and start paying attention to what is actually going on. Everything you've said has proven wrong. In the end your complaints have been so poorly supported and yes, having Jose who is a success driven manager playing him week after week on a first place team is more than enough proof for me.
  7. Way over your head once again... We've WON the majority of the big games he's started WON!! So why are you making more claims about who would've and should've and could've started? The bottom line is Oscar was given the job... None of them should start over Oscar you tit! Even if you gave me a bench of Willian, Drogba, Mikel, Cuadrado, Cech, Luis and Remy I'd still pick Oscar over all of them. Only person who challenges Oscar for me is Ramires and that's down to shape. Like I said before when we need a compact midfield Ramires is a better option, when we want to play expansively its Oscar. No not everything he does is unquestionable but when it comes down to the decisions he makes for the team who the hell are you to question his opinion? Did we not WIN the majority of the big games Oscar played? What leg do you have to stand on then? Clearly his decisions to play him have worked out more often than they haven't. And no offence brother but honestly if we took a poll and asked people who they put their trust in with regards to Chelsea football clubs tactics and management and it was between Jose Mourinho(perennial winner and around the squad 7 days a week) and Didierforever(loser on a laptop who watches Chelsea once a week) I'm pretty sure 99.999999999999% of the people would pick Jose... with your pet gieco being the only vote cast in your favour(accidentally) I don't need to argue with you because you've already been exposed. We win more games with Oscar in the team than we do when he's not... If that's not enough for you to come to grips with the fact that he has value to the team then I don't know what else there is to say? We are winning... Not Pretty but Jose never wins that way, but only 3 losses all year proves he knows a thing or two about a winning formula. I put my trust in Jose, he hasn't given me any reason to doubt him and I don't walk around like I know enough about the game to question his judgment. In another thread you called him one of the greatest managers out there, is he capable of mistakes? absolutely but when we're first place with a trophy already and close to sealing the title its hard to argue with the choices he's made. Least of which some nobody with a laptop who has no idea what type of pressure he is under to get the decisions right week after week.
  8. You're missing something here. The games I put OSCAR PLAYS are the ones he did start. Listen brother, lets just stick to the facts here! You clearly said Oscar doesn't play in the big games, are you stuttering to back track now? I have no reason to address what you've said here because you've been left exposed.... Changing the argument again now. First its "Jose leaves him out of big games" now it "but, but, but so and so was injured and out of form and izzy brown" I don't need excuses to defend Oscar the proof is in the pudding he's playing regularly for a 1st place team for one of the winningest managers of all-time. Am I to believe some internet nerd who see's Oscar play maybe 6hrs a week knows more about what he brings to the team than a manager who's won everything and clearly is still winning?
  9. Amazing! I read somewhere that the hardest person to deal with is one who is both ignorant and arrogant at the same time. Those types of people are impossible to reach with logic and reason.... Yes Jose exposed Redknapp by showing that you can't compare stats to a player playing 10 in a free role vs. a player playing the wing...This is the same person who routinely plays Oscar in the 10 over Willian. Why are you using Jose as an example only when its convenient to your argument? Are you saying you have a better understanding of how Chelsea should function than the manager who has implemented the tactics? The man who chooses to play Oscar in the 10 over Mata, DeBruyne, Willian, Cesc and Hazard? Jose Mourinho is no mug, if he, his directors and coaching staff think Oscar is the club's best option for CAM then far be it from me or you to argue with him. He knows what he wants and clearly, given the results its working. You are grading Oscar's performances in the role with limited knowledge of what the role's specific details are. If there is one thing I know for FACT is Jose will not continue to play a player who isn't working out when he has a better option on the bench, he's never done that, Jose's only allegiance is to wins. You keep bringing up these big games and how Jose never plays Oscar in them... How have we done in them this year? City away 1-1 draw Utd Oscar plays 1-1 Arsenal Oscar plays 2-0 Liverpool Oscar plays 2-1 Tottenham Oscar plays 3-0 Tottenham Oscar off at 45 3-5 Liverpool COC 1-1 Liverpool COC Oscar plays 1-0 City Oscar plays 1-1 Tottenham COC 2-0 PSG 1-1 PSG Oscar plays 1-1 So not only have I completely owned you on this ridiculous claim that Oscar doesn't play in big games(Clearly he's started in the majority of them 8 of 12) but I've also dispelled this myth that we're better without him in the squad.... When Oscar doesn't play in the perceived big games Chelsea have only won 1 game all year vs the 4 we've won with him in the team. Man talk about grasping at air!!! Now you're bringing up Mata and the Champions League which was three managers ago? wow. The rest of what you wrote is just argumentative so before I permanently put you on the ignore list I'll just ignore that. Oh and Cahill HAS been brilliant for us, he's just struggling now and Brana HAS been brilliant for us, he's just struggling now... Fortunately for the us supporters and for the sake of the owners pocket books, Jose isn't as fickle as you or lack the simple understanding that form is always gonna come and go for players who aren't considered world class. They will have dips, its just whether or not you can live with it, clearly You live in the world of instant gratification and what have you done for me lately. I have a little more patience and understand players aren't robots. Carefree top of the league is where I be! Very happy optimist!
  10. I don't want him gone at all! I think he has great value when in his prime mode. The problem many have here is he needs to find more consistency which I would bet isn't the easiest thing when he's running all over the pitch. He definitely needs to be in better shape if he's gonna be the player we need him to be on a consistent basis, on current form he doesn't seem to have the stamina to play his game for the duration of the season. The squad is without question lacking depth but high end depth isn't cheap and we aren't exactly swimming in cash... We basically went with a small squad so we can get the right players in. It makes it hard to compete on all fronts but the reality is we are a very good XI and have a few holes to plug on the bench. Oscar, of all the attacking players has been rotated the most. He's not the only one struggling for form but he is the one often on the bench... Jose needs more options but options are expensive and how many games do high end subs get in order to justify paying upwards of 25m+ for them? its not easy to keep everyone happy. Again you're not telling me anything I haven't observed for myself! I realize that he isn't the only one struggling but his case it different to that of Cesc mainly because we have a few more options there than we do in the DLP role.
  11. For the record I'm not an Oscar fan, I'm a Chelsea fan, I've always said players come and go and the badge endures... Since I am a Chelsea fan I support our squad and I'm not dumb enough to expect consistency from a player who is 23 not considered world class. He is struggling but I'm not the type to come online trying to protect my ego by spewing nothing but negative comments for a player who scores for my club and assists for my club and plays hard for my club. You are entitled to your opinion, like a few others here you seem hellbent to drive home you don't like him and you look like a complete tool doing it too. No one in their right mind can say Willian has made more contributions to the team than Oscar... Anyone who does I would call a moron. And why are you talking about Fellaini now? of course Fellaini has value and use, just because he's not world class doesn't mean he can't function within a team. The best aspect of Oscar's game is not his goalscoring (though I can understand why you think that way since he does have a knack for it) but is work rate and his ability to get stuck in all over the pitch. If you really think the reason he's in the squad is because of his goalscoring than you clearly have no clue about what Jose wants his first place club to play like. Before Jose, Mata had 18 goals and a boatload of assists, you think Jose doesn't understand the value of such a player? He chose Oscar because when the goals aren't flying in he's still useful to the team and works. Glad you finally admit your bias! We're finally getting somewhere now! When we had what many people considered the best 10 in the prem we finished 6th and 3rd. You'd be happy to know with Oscar the team went from 3rd to 1st. So if all you want is for Chelsea to succeed look no further than the standings! With Oscar as our 10 we're right where we want to be. He's not solely responsible but he's not solely to blame as to why we're not better. Its a TEAM everyone has a function within the team philosophy! No amount of minutes playing FIFA 15 can get you to grasp this concept but please believe me it exists! There is a method to this perceived madness and we're reaping the benefits of it this year. And for the record I wasn't trying to justify his contributions through goals, you made the assertion that Willian can do everything that Oscar can which is clearly a myth that I've exposed. I've clearly said that Oscar, when in his top form contributes both offensively and defensively, the sad part about what we're seeing from him now is he's not giving us much of anything at either end. You're not gonna see me argue against that, he's been poor... Do I think he's shit? hell no! he's Chelsea player working for Jose Mourinho, I know even if I can't see it that the kid adds value to the squad(I do see it) You have no concept of how Jose likes to play so I'm jut gonna leave it with this. Whether you choose to agree or disagree is up to you I'm not gonna battle ignorance and arrogance in a few paragraphs... When Chelsea want to play expansive football Oscar is in the 10, when Chelsea want to play compact football Ramires plays either 8 or 7. That is about as obvious to anyone who has even watched half a season of Mourinho at Chelsea. Its not about big game players, its about big game shape. He did the same thing with Ozil right after calling him the best 10 in the world and few could argue there was a time when Ozil was right up there. So please give it a rest! The most important aspect in all of this is he plays for Chelsea and we all want him to succeed! At least I do! And writing 10 posts a day about why you hate him so much and why you think Isco is what we need isn't gonna make it so... Oscar is our 10! We are winning the Premier League so there really isn't much room for argument, clearly what we're doing is working so why not enjoy rather than bitch and moan about the things you have absolutely no control over? Just some advice...
  12. I'll leave that for you. Me, I actually love both players, they struggle from time to time but I love how they work within the team. We've lost 3 games all year can't be all bad. I think your beef should be less with the players and more with the system. Jose likes things compact, hugging the touchline leaves gaps to exploit on the counter.
  13. 1. up to you but having watched them today and against PSG I can deduce we have a tired squad both physically and mentally. 2. If you're not willing to accept fatigue as a reason we haven't been at our best then we clearly just have a shit team. I beg to differ, Willian, who usually passes it 85% was at 78% Oscar who is usually 83% was down to 76% Hazard who is 86% was down to 78% if that's not fatigue then we've invested in the wrong players. 3. It doesn't change the fact we don't have the players who hug the touchline. we essentially have two tens playing on the wing, their natural tendencies will be to come inside. Its just how it is I don't necessarily agree with it. 4. Most fouled team in the Prem... says it all.
  14. 1. fatigue. played 120 mins on Wednesday the guys looked emotionally and physically fatigued in both games. 2. Fatigue. When you're running on fumes your technique goes out the window. 3. Its pretty much how we've played all year we lack natural width which is why we brought in Cuadrado. Ivanovic is the only guy who pulls people out wide. 4. I'm sure its mostly frustration.
  15. Like I said before its very hard to say exactly what the shape was since we played mostly on the counter anyway. But having said that I still for the life of me don't see where in that game Willian "bossed it" If my memory serves me Matic was MotM with Luiz playing an integral role and Hazard in scintillating form. I'm still struggling to find where the phrase Bossed it and Willian meet? you seem to suffer from short term memory let me help you with that. I must've miscounted too Oscar has 30 goals for Chelsea in less than 3 yrs... And anyone who actually watches Chelsea play regularly and don't have some wack agenda against Oscar can tell you he gets stuck in way more than Willian does. To compare the two in that regard not only shows how little you've actually been paying attention but also how terribly biased you've become in your tirade. Oscar is by no means the article when you think of a 10, he has warts, but discrediting his contributions to the squad show you either have a shallow IQ for the game or that you can't set aside your ego and judge a player objectively. I know which category you fall under and its pretty sad... I guy who usually has decent things to say about football can't set his ego aside online.
  16. You can call it whatever you want but the fact is we played a 4-3-3 with Rambo leaking out on the right to join counters. That's pretty much how we play all the time on the counter. Its no secret that in big games Jose likes to keep the midfield compact. But I digress its a muted argument that I doubt you will see the light of so lets just move on. "There's not a single thing that Oscar can give us that Willian can't"? Ummmmm what? in his time with Chelsea Willian has scored 8 goals in 76 games. 18 goals in 87 games. Wiliian has had 10 assists and Oscar 20... For his career Oscar has averaged more than 2 tackles a game to Willian 1.4. You must be sniffing glue if you think these two players are even close to comparable in production. I like Willian a lot but lets not pretend his contributions to the squad have been anywhere near as much as Oscar's. The truth of the matter is Oscar, Willian and Cesc have all been poor in 2015 and we've struggled as a result.
  17. I can't remember there ever being an easy game in the prem. Chelsea always make things look hard, its the clubs DNA.
  18. Bang on! You will get no complaint from me,
  19. what are you calling 10?? We played 4-3-3 that game. And the fact that you think Willian has bossed any game speaks volumes about this agenda you seem to be on. Willian hasn't bossed one game he's been at for Chelsea... He's done well but by your definition of a '10' doesn't he need to score and create opportunities to score?
  20. He was abysmal today, no if ands or buts about it. I still love him but todays performance is inexcusable... The people who want him out of the club will be barking loudly today, not just in 24pt font size either. Willian, Oscar and Fabregas have been well off the pace for some time now and its becoming a bit of a concern. We aren't creating any chances and that's coming down to those three players not doing enough in attack. This is an Oscar thread so expect to hear how poor he was when you visit it... My only allegiance is to the badge, Oscar, for whatever the reason, hasn't been up to snuff lately and something has to give. He is still a decent buy for the quoted price of 19.35m but having said that he still needs to do more than run about. He's not even making a nuisance of himself anymore, not getting stuck in. When he plays like that his offensive deficiencies are less of an issue, because his work rate is helping the team keep shape. When we don't get that from him he has a negative impact on the team.
  21. Ramires to start if Oscar doesn't. Cesc doesn't press and thus we won't win possession when we need it.
  22. Wow... A team that's lost a total of 3 games all year haven't earned your trust. Talkchelsea.net is incredibly comical after a draw...
