I disagree. That goal was a result of the high line City kept playing. What I'm talking about is his aerial threat, when they use him as a target man it won't be a midfielder responsible for ensuring he doesn't win them it will be our CB's. Fellaini's goal best illustrates the threat he poses. Utd have been all about the diagonal crosses to the back post, its been that way throughout Van Gaal's reign and now that Fellaini is playing as a striker its coming off better than when it was RVP. If we leave Fellaini for Azpi to deal with we could be in for a long night.

The sort of handshake deal where if Pogba gets injured they still pay 70m for him? I think Pogba's agent wants a deal done sooner rather than later, with a big transfer deal comes a big agent fee and I doubt he will run the risk of not getting that big payday because he wants to wait till Barca can buy. If the money is right, and I have no reason to think we won't make a proper bid, why would they hold out?

I fail to see how what you're doing is any better than the majority you call idiots who belong in playgrounds? You have strong opinions about Chelsea and participate in the same sort of squabbling as the rest. Its a fucking forum! Yes, so expect your opinion to be met with criticism.

Looks decent. Good frame looks like he can put on muscle. He's pretty fast too... I ain't mad buy him for 4 sell him for 12.... -
He's been out for awhile.
-
Dude... If we add Pogba I guarantee he will develop into a world beater under Jose Mourinho. You're speaking as if he's the finished product, do you remember what Hazard was like when he came to us? Believe me Jose is the kind of guy that will make Pogba into the best box to box midfielder in the world, he's already pretty close.
-
Here's what I don't get and these journalist keep saying it. Barcelona have a transfer ban till January! how are they gonna buy him and loan him back when they can't buy??? just so lazy. He's coming to us, they don't want to admit it just yet!!!
-
If we get Pogba we would likely play 4-3-3 with Matic, Fab and Paul in the 3. I do like him playing in the 10 too!

http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-3038385/Chelsea-talks-Belgian-club-Royal-Mouscron-Peruwelz-new-partnership.html Sounds like a great idea! another place to put our loanees and also a way of keeping an eye on the young belgians! All for this.
-
They named a thread after you??? I'm jealous.
-
I don't know why everyone thinks Matic is the guy to deal with Fellaini? When we played QPR's 4-4-2 was it Matic dealing with Zamora and Austin or was it Cahill and Terry? Fellaini lines up like a midfielder but plays as their target man. My worry is him peeling off to the back post and having an aerial duel with Cesar.
-
So you can say this yet still demand the type of football that leads to scintillating play?
-
So why even make mention to how many times you've been to the bridge like its some badge of honour? I can GUARANTEE you the amount you paid to see you 15 games pales in comparison to the amount I had to pay out to see 3 games. Like I've said many times over, everyone wants to see beautiful football, the difference between you and the rest of us is we don't demand it because we go to the game to watch it. Like you have some sort of entitlement... What if we're just not capable of playing that way are you gonna stop going? If your answer is no then shut the fuck up and get behind the team! They're running on fumes is that not clear to you?
-
and leave space in the midfield for Mata and Herrera to exploit? I'm not so sure we need to pay that much attention to Fellaini.
-
That's for Jose to decide, I was just pointing out that its not our midfielders who will be responsible for challenging him in the air.
-
Why complain? just go follow another club. No shame in admitting you made the wrong choice and would like to go follow another team. Why subject yourself to the misery week after week of watching a club who play to win trophies rather than to dazzle you with a nice pass?
-
This is true but there is no question that on the flip side of things that midfield you've constructed is too slow to deal with teams who can run at us and play football. Koke gets after it but he's not exactly a box to box midfielder and that is PRECISELY what is needed next to Fabregas for him to be given freedom. Pogba is without question the perfect buy for this midfield and not only because he scores goals.
-
I really don't think Fellaini is playing as a midfielder at Utd. He is their target man in a 4-4-2.
-
I don't know why on earth you chose Chelsea as your club brother!
-
Not even that, we haven't even been challenged once all season... Complacency is very hard to keep out when you've had a 7-8pt lead pretty much all season.
-
LOL... Like that makes you some sort of authority on the matter! hahahahaha I've been to the Bridge! 3 times in the last year.
-
Judging by you poor grammar I'd say its the other way around... Anyways. You think you're the only one who wants to see nice football? I would love to see us smash teams by 6! I just don't think that's gonna happen and not because Jose isn't capable of it.
-
Nothing brings me more joy than seeing all the haters (both supposed Chelsea supporters and rivals) get their panties all up in bunches after Jose once again wins another game we had no business winning. You hate him when we win, you hate him when we lose, true supporters love him through both! He is the father of our football! He defined our style of play and our winning mentality! He is without question going to go down as one of the greats the game has ever produced and most of his reign will be at the club I love! LONG LIVE THE SPECIAL ONE!
-
Mikel is ideally suited for this game and for those thinking that Our defensive midfielder is responsible for marking Fellaini you clearly don't have a clue how Utd are using him.
-
I think you're gonna be in for a surprise. We haven't really gotten after it in the midfield for a while, most of that is due to the fact we were under the caush.... Matic will be back to his bossy best at the bridge next week.
