not price, wage demands.

Of course they are good enough! Matic and Cesc played a lot because Jose wanted to play them a lot. Ramires was injured for most of last season but everytime he cam back Jose said " the best thing about today's victory is I have my Ramires back" Now is he just missing something? Mikel as a squad player is fine, when Matic was suspended he stepped and did a decent job. He's nowhere near as effect as Matic but definitely a serviceable squad player.
-
You have no way of knowing that and beyond that when was the last time what Jose said in the press was 100% accurate? Perhaps he's saying he's comfortable with the squad to bring down the price of his targets... You have no way of knowing what his true intentions are, your job is to wait till the window is shut and allow the people who run this club to make the decisions on what is needed and what isn't. Jose has won everything that can be won at the club level and is coming off a double winning season where he crushed the competition, I would say he's earned the right to sign whoever he wants and keep whoever he likes.
-
Couple things you need to learn about the press, often the prices quoted there grossly inflated so instead of throwing your toys off the streetcar perhaps take a step back and calm down. I would doubt very highly you even knew who Baba Rahman was before we were linked to him. I would bet good money that you knew who John Stones was though.
-
Why do you have such a small minded approach to things? If we buy Stones that doesn't mean we're done buying.
-
DiMarzio dude. Probably the most reliable journalist out there. As I said before it could just be an accounting thing why it's a loan with an option to buy.
-
sounds pretty firm, it's from DiMarzio. Clearly Luis wants to be playing more but hasn't proven to be good enough to displace Cesar. I don't like the idea of a loan though, should be a permanent deal. It may still be this might come down to accounting.
-
Loads of Twitter talk about Luis going on loan to atletico. 2yrs with an option to buy
-
a lot of the time success and failure comes down to chemistry. What you deem and upgrade could end up in disaster if the fit isn't right. Having said that I think too many here have given up on cuadrado prematurely. I haven't
-
If it's palace that is a great loan for him. Palace struggled to score goals last season, he will get chances to prove himself.
-
Fast becoming one of my favourite guys in the media. Great demeanour and always seems to say the right things!
-
Haven't seen it yet with Christensen. I know he's highly touted but I've yet to see his true quality. He has time I suppose.
-
Or buy someone. I can't see Jose going with such a young inexperienced bench in the AM area when the aim is to defend the title and perhaps win more titles. It's a pipedream you got going here
-
It's an extremely high level to entrust a youngster in. One of 5 am's? Let's just say I'm glad Jose is boss. If Moses goes it's because we have an upgrade in hand. Right now the only certainty is salah will be gone
-
A decent player who can't offer much... I think it comes down to opportunity. He's always been a hard worker and is quick and crafty. His inclusion to the squad is partly because he's hg and because it allows our promising youngsters to go out on loan, I wouldn't say it's all down to this though. And nothing at this point suggests he will be here for the entire season or even part of it. He's getting a chance to prove himself based on what we've seen of him the past few seasons. If Jose thought he was shit he'd just put another academy kid on the bench to make up numbers. Also last year was ACON and I'm sure the decision to loan him out came down to that as well.
-
In time we will see. He has a lot of attributes we can use and beyond that he's English and deserves a chance. He did well at stoke before getting injured and if our loan policy is to have any merit at all we need to give players a chance to make it. It could very well be that mourinho wants a full camp with him to decide whether or not we can use him. Remember at the deadline we wanted to recall him to make up numbers and Moses refused because he didn't want to be on the bench for the entire 2nd half. He's in our plans, how much is yet to be determined.
-
So what's the alternative then?
-
I encourage you to watch how teams play against him. He is without question one of the best players in the world and he's 21... He has everything to his game, I don't understand why you can't see this.
-
As I've said many times I have no trouble with us not signing Pogba if he goes to one of the big clubs. Losing him to City or PSG is not acceptable in my books. And I also said many times that Chelsea would be mad not to be in for him since he is one of the best players in the world today... Jose Agrees. Now you can close this thread. Us wanting him is enough for me, whether he chooses to join is completely up to him.
-
“Also, Pogba is not to put pressure on people. Pogba is one of the top players in the world. Pogba goes to any team and improves that team automatically. If he stays at Juventus, Juventus will be very strong again. If he goes somewhere else, he will improve immediately a team." - Jose Mourinho
-
They did ask about Pogba though! The hope is still alive...
-
We're gonna end up getting him.
-
Seems like he has an eye for goal, has progressed through the ranks with flying colours as well. However, Hazard is a potential Ballon D'or winner for Traore to displace him as our top dog he'd have to be a Ballon D'or winner! I think you've set the bar a little high but I do think he can be a special player if his growth isn't stunted
-
I wonder if the reason we've been so quiet in the window has to do with the Barca elections?

They just reposted what Metro wrote. Gave them credit too.
