  1. Prem league proven but not Chelsea standard proven. If I'm being completely honest, and I try to be all the time, Lukaku hasn't shown he's of that high quality standard. Its similar to Demba Ba's case where he looked great with Newcastle where teams have no need to sit deep but as soon as he came here, it was a completely different story. Not saying I want him gone yet but Lukaku needs to shut the fuck up and prove himself on the pitch. He says he wants to play in the Champions League this year like he's earned the right, what teams that are confirmed for Champions League(which represents the elite in European football) have a need for a spoilt little boy who is poor technically and cries when his coach rightfully subs him out of a world cup fixture? He needs and attitude adjustment and I'm not sure Jose has the time to mess around with a baby.
  2. We'd all love that, I'm just not sure he is built that way. Seems like a whiny little baby to me who thinks he's entitled to a role rather than the type that fight for it. I'd only be upset if we sold him and the person we brought in ended up being another dud. Right now I'm not a fan of Lukaku's attitude, Ba spent pretty much his entire Chelsea career on the bench and never once heard a peep out of him! These are his prime years too.
  3. So long as he's not better than Salah I don't care. If he is we'll never hear the end of it.
  4. How does a friendly at Stamford Bridge benefit Real Sociedad? lol
  5. That site is garbage. They know little but preach like they are some sort of authority on all things Chelsea. Nothing against Americans but I really don't think any of them have their fingers on the pulse of what is happening in the UK. Furthermore I doubt any of them have even stepped foot inside Stamford Bridge. Bunch of fanboys with a popular site for other fanboys
  6. I like Lukaku, think he may even have a role to play at Chelsea but man does he ever make it hard for himself. Clearly his body has matured 10x as quickly as his mind. He thinks he's the finished article when most would think hasn't even formulated a thesis. Now he says he wants to play for a team in the champions league? Like who? Prem - Chelsea, Liverpool, Arse? La Liga - Atleti, Barca, Real, Bilbao? Serie A - Juventus, Roma, Napoli? Bundesliga - Bayern, Dortmund, Schalke, Bayer? Ligue 1 - PSG, Monaco, Lille? Eredivisie- Ajax, Feyenoord? Only a few teams here would have a need and they likely can't afford him. He needs to shut the fuck up and get on the practice pitch to work on his game. Too much talk from a guy who hasn't done much.
  7. You're missing a big piece of WHY I put him on that level. Not because he knows all, but because he doesn't write about something he isn't informed of. Have you ever seen him write anything close to the bullshit that comes out of Italy? And again you don't have to believe Dan Levene what we're discussing is why I do! And the reason I do is because I've met the man and had good conversations with him. When he writes something its not for click bait. Whether that's enough for you is not my concern.
  8. PS go look at my posts... That's precisely what I've been saying. There is smoke, not fire. We are interested its about evaluation, do I think Chelsea see him as a £60m buy? no but I do feel we are making inquiries. Go back and read what i wrote before you try patronizing me.
  9. Ya I do actually in that he doesn't post bullshit.
  10. breaking reports first doesn't always make you the most in the know journalist. If you pay attention to BBC or even Sky for that matter, they only drop stuff when its official. Dan is of that sort, when he has certainty he writes about it. If he says Chelsea are 'in the hunt for Paul Pogba' its believable for me mainly because I know Dan and he wouldn't write anything he wouldn't have on good authority.
  11. Everyone said we were signing Cavani... Absolutely EVERYONE! You know why? because its likely we were exploring the possibility UNTIL PSG came in with a big offer. Calm down, son its not out of the realm of possibility that we are in for Pogba, whether we can find an agreeable fee is always the stumbling block. BTW you should read Dan's paper, I doubt you do since you think he doesn't know much. He's one of the better more informed Journos out there when it comes to Chelsea related info.
  12. It wasn't last week but yes I have said that. Only reason why I back Dan Levene is because I've met him, had conversations with him. He's a pretty even keeled dude who doesn't post shit for click bait, so since I know him it makes it easier to digest.
  13. When Dan Levene writes we are interested that counts as smoke for me.
  14. I agree he's not quite at that level yet but what does keeping him at Juve accomplish? Nothing. Here we will be working with a world renown trainer and motivator in Jose. At Juve he'll likely see more games but if he doesn't sign an extension they will lose out on a huge pay day. We do not yet know how Jose will deploy his team, sure in the past we have played with a 10 but that could change to 4-3-3 as it did on many occasions this past season. I'm not gonna pretend to know what Jose is thinking, I do think we are looking at Pogba though... Too much smoke for there not to be at least an inquiry. Smoke... Pogba had an okay World Cup yet Jose calls him the young player of the tourney? He didn't even play all the matches. https://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/video/mourinho-best-world-cup-player-004405488.html
  15. Dude I know you're a Juve fan and think the world of that team but think for a second. Pogba is destined to be a World Star, Juve are not equipped to offer him the sort of wages and exposure Chelsea, City, Madrid and give him, he's got two years left on his contract meaning if he doesn't re-sign this summer it puts Juve in a predicament. They either sell him to the highest bidder i.e Chelsea who they have priors with or run the risk of losing him for nothing or much less the following year. The shared sum between Juve and Livorno(not Torino) is hard to discern. Some say Juve used them to get around the leagues restrictions, who the brunt of burden falls on is anyone's guess.
  16. I'm not gonna pretend I wouldn't be over the moon if we landed him but honestly I'm still quite content with Matic, Ramires, Fab if/when you do go 4-3-3.
  17. This has nothing to do with the speculation, just a nice article from last year. http://www.fourfourtwo.com/features/paul-pogba-fergies-biggest-mistake-26-years I've met the author of this article below, he's not one to bullshit at all. He loves Chelsea and is a pretty even keeled individual... This is the only reason why I smell smoke. http://www.getwestlondon.co.uk/sport/football/transfer-news/chelsea-hunt-juventus-midfielder-paul-7401244?utm_source=Get+West+London&utm_medium=twitter
  18. Because if they bargain before the ruling they could end up paying less. A lawyers job is to assess the situation and look for the best possible solution, in this case it could be to settle now and save a few quid.
  19. The whole world was watching would've been better for Uruguay to appeal after the World Cup.
  20. I think what he means is Mario Mandzukic has joined Atletico... Honest mistake.
  21. Highly doubt that but even if that were true you're missing something when you watch it. Oscar was omitted from Jose's team when he played 4-3-3 that in of itself should tell you how highly he regards Oscar in that role.
  22. It seems to be the only way to get the likes of you to understand a thing or two. Everyone says Oscar was extremely fatigued playing as the no.10 in Jose's system so now he'll be fine to play CM? He's too lightweight to deal with the rigours of that positions demands.
