  1. MASSIVE! You just gotta love our Spaniards...
  2. I have school today. Crazy stuff. However, I have a good feeling before the game. I don't mind them playing their passing game in the centre. Last game against us they gave the ball a couple of times in dangerous areas, but we weren't effective on the counter. First goal means a lot in this game, so I'll go positive and say 0-3. I'm just wondering whether I should bail and watch the game in the pub, because when I miss a match, we usually trash the opposition.
  3. yes we can, but it wont change much. with or without striker, fact is we can't break defenses easily. the only positive I see with Hazard upfront is an extra man when we're in possession, because unfortunately Torres loses possession quite often.
  4. unfortunately i couldn't watch the game, but when i checked the result i felt very happy and relieved. these 1-0 wins make the difference between a champion and the rest of the top clubs.
  5. not very brightly at all. we could have easily prevented their goals, but we can't complain now. fair result against a difficult opposition although the ref was kind of a prick. impressed with Oscar, but we can't rely on the kids to win us games like that. luckily he saved our asses, because we didn't have many clear chances... Torres was working hard but football is not all about running like a headless chicken, he should stay put in the centre and be a focal point. what pisses me off lately is how he goes down after the slightest touch.. come on the guy's been in England for 5 years, no one's gonna give you a foul in such situations in conclusion everything will depend on the games with Shaktar
  6. Okay guys. I was in the pub tonight, really excited about the game, but at halftime I drank my beer and left to play some snooker. So I can comment regarding only the first 45 minutes (but I suppose the second half time was not very different). Atletico have one fucking treasure. Easily the best finisher in the world and he proved it tonight. Give him half a chance and he'll punish you. Give him a chance and he'll humiliate you. Yes, we were humiliated tonight. Just look at the Falcao hattrick. On the counter 4vs4 or 5vs5. What the fuck man?! We attack with the entire team but defend with the back four only. Atletico defend with 11 and attack with 11. They move together as one whole. We can have the ball as much as we want, but when we lose it they'll make their counter with a couple of touches and score. It could have been 6-0 at half time. We were toothless in attack and disorientated in defense. Congratulations to Atletico they taught us a good lesson. I hope we learn this one for the future. That's apart, for me whatever happens, if we do not win the world cup thing the season will have a sour taste. We had 3 extra cups this season and we were supposed to win them. I'm really really pissed off, but I can't even complain or blame the referee or certain player. We were just not good enough.
  7. If we fail to lift the cup, that will affect badly the team, I fear. We have 3 finals this season, thanks to the FA cup and the Champions League wins, and if we start with Community Shield and Super Cup defeats, that wont be great. There's no better spirit lifter than an early trophy, it eases the pressure because it means guaranteed silverware for the season. We definitely need this tranquility, after all the activity in the transfer window.
  8. Simple maths. Champions League + Super Cup > Champions League. Must win. Starting early with a trophy will be great for the atmosphere within the team. Atletico are dangerous. They have a match tonight against Bilbao, and I expect them to draw. But come on, they won their Super Cup 2 years ago, now it'our turn. I don't think Moses, Azpi and Oscar will start, but I hope they get involved and start with a trophy. Btw what's with the subs? Is it 3 per team or more?
  9. Liverpool must be SO pissed! But Sterling will be great for them in a couple of years, if they manage to keep him
  10. How can Liverpool always perform in big games, but still play like shite in every other match? City still can make it 3-2 though, but I hope it stays like that.
  11. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EyE193x_SIM Obviously he likes doing rabonas against Newcastle for some reason
  12. Minimal contact, he could have stayed on his feet if he wanted to. He just knew he wont get to the ball, so he tried to make the best out of the situation. Btw the yellow wasn't shown for diving, yeah? I though it was for arguing with the ref's decision?
  13. We have the best player in the league lololololooololo
  14. Meireles and Mikel did good. Great save by Cech at the end, that was vital - another clean sheet. Electric Torres, I've never seen him dribble so good. In the last games, he makes a few dribbles against 3 or more defenders. Plus the fancy skills, lovely stuff from our number 9, who is now the top scorer of the team in the RDM era. Hazard continues with being awesome. To summarize great display by the entire team and the coaching staff. 9 points out of 9, achieved with sexy football. Good times to be a Chelsea supporter, and it will only get better in the next seasons. Now let's go for our first trophy!
  15. Welcome Azpi! I hope we can help him become the next RB of La Roja.
  16. Last season we had Drogba and Torres up front, now we have Torres and Sturridge challenging for the striker position. Moses can cover, and even Hazard or Piazon if you want.
  17. It would be a decent addition, but I'm just not convinced he has the quality to start for Chelsea.
  18. Ok, he was anonymous for large periods of the game, but at least now he's getting the service he didn't had before. He maybe had 3 clear chances on goal and could even had more. He also showed he actually can create for himself with that fancy nutmeg in the box. How short in confidence is that? The header in the end of the first half was a must, perfect ball from Hazard. True, he did some bad one touch passes, but he just hasn't the technical ability to play one touch football in tight positions. He needs space, but against Reading having the lead at the Bridge, he won't get any. It's over now with the excuses of not getting service though, if he gets 2 or 3 chances per game, he must score. Luckily, he scored a decisive one and also participated in the perfect build up to the goal. At last he's not being out of luck after all the shots in the posts and all the penalty claims.
  19. It's like Hazard is contagious and makes everybody around him play better. I would love to see the distance stats though. He was tireless all over the pitch. With him and Mata, we may actually start to break tough defenses easily. The build-up to the offside goal, was kinda unusual for us, but yet that's what we should be aiming for with these players.
  20. We should get used to have penalties in our favor every game. There's no stopping for Eden! Watched the game on the French Canal+, and you can imagine the commentators when Hazard had the ball. Magical!
  21. Well deserved! Great spirit to come back, that's how the European Champions roll! Hazard is magnificent. He is forcing us to play well. Him and Mata are gonna be inmense for Chelsea this season. The Torres goal was clearly offside, but we deserved, with our second half performance. Reading didn't had a shot on target! Also delighted for Torres, looked good on the ball and when isolated he was looking to create chances on his own. One negative point though. After we take the lead we just seem to lower the intensity and the pace of our game ridiculously. Why can't we just keep our game balanced? 6 points now, top of the table. Bring on Newcastle and the Supercup.
  22. Why everything goes tits up after we score...
