Drogba is to Chelsea something like Etoo was for Barca, but Lampard to Chelsea is something like Messi is to Barca. Lamps won everything possible on club stage, what is most important, in times when Henry and Ronaldinho played (2005), Frank was for many best player in the world and certainly among top 5 for all people. He is to good to play for us as reserve. His level will go down and also France will lose a consistant fullback. I hope he goes to a club, where he will have reliable playing position. And that, Chelsea who has Ivan, is not. Maybe Real or Bayern, I'm sure there he would have standard position and could become world class. Why we need Modric? We have two playmakers and several young players on that position. We should play with Mikel (Romeu on sub) and Lamps (Kdb on sub). If we will play with Romeu-Kdb enough, they will become world class. If we buy another cm, they will never even appear as sub for us...

Among players like Mata, Hazard, Hulk, Mikel and de Bruyne in 2015, there is no place for him.

In terms of trophies 2011/12, but in style of play 2009/10; that time we play along Barca the best football on earth. Right now we certainly dont play nice football, but with few transfers, it could be start to next big team.

I think Rdm will give enough chance to young players (Ryan, Danny, Bruyne,...) if they will prove. Now Drogba is gone, Hazard came and we will need new style. Im sure Robby is not defensive type of coach, but our team forced him. I think we will play Ancelotti style, lot of fast counters, creative play and strong defence. With 4:2:3:1 formation. Currently we need only very good RW and young RB, that can start as sub. Possibly some 10-20mio midfielder would be good for backup.

Its ironic that we got Meireles instead of Modric and we might never win CL with Modric, but we did with Meireles. Thank god, we got Meireles and saved 30mio.

With all these playmaker who cant realy defend (Mata, Hazard, Marin, new RW), we need stronger CMs, not neccesary to creative, but just they need to pass well and defend. Attack has become more creative, but less defensive and midfield should be strenghten. We have Mata and Hazard, we dont need another deep lying playmaker, ala Modric, but just someone who can pass the ball well and defend (Schweini style). Javi Martinez, Johan Cabaye or Witsel along with Mikel. Or wait sometime for De Bruyne, we could play Lampard half of games (more important ones) , while other half to play Kevin. First wait to see him in preseason, then we should turn him into our new creative CM. He can pass, shot, dribble and eventualy, he will learn to defend (like Lamps, I am sure Bruyne can defend like Modric, but needs to evolve a bit).

Sometimes its better to buy player who actualy comes here because he likes club, not just to become more famous for playing in bigger league for bigger club and more money. A player like Dzagoev has completely different mentality than those of Hulk or Torres. If Dzagoev comes to Chelsea it will be his dream come true and such players cant flop. He will work lot and wont be under pressure as much as Hulk or Torres, Sheva,... And nowdays, there is no such player as 'natural winger'. This is moder football now...

As far I see, he is winger. Involves lot in attack, fights for ball and is classic winger who likes to pass more than dribble. I dont see why you keep saying he is not fit to our formation, while he is winger and we need winger. He certainly is not CM or CAM because he is not playmaker type (Zenit trio are CMs for Russia), but runs on wings and then goes to penalty area, trying to score or pass. I like about him that he makes double passes and creates clear chance (something that him and Mata would do great), and not so much dribbling play (ala Hazard). Reasons: Cheaper than Hulk (15-20mio or free) Plays for CSKA (Abramovich is in good relations with this club) Prefers wing play with passing Knows how to score IS A CHELSEA FAN only 21 years old

It was 10-20 for defenders, 15-35 for midfielders and 20-50 for strikers. Since when clubs pay 50 for CB? Since Thiago could go to Psg, I see option Sakho could move to Milan. They will require new cb, plus I doubt Sakho would play in psg regulary if Thiago and Alex play there. Unless Carlo has new plans with Sakho next year to make killer defence in Silva-Sakho Maxwel-Sakho-Alex-Tiene Motta Pastore-Matuidi Menez-Gameiro-Lavezzi
