Looking further that player like Ramires wouldnt start is the fact we dont need any striker or winger. It would be luxsus more than a need. RB is what we realy need. And as much I would like Hulk here, that would mean only bench for several players.

How will he fit in our formation is matter of Robbie's decision and plans. He could be winger, second striker, playmaker, cm or attacking midfielder. No point discussing until he will actualy play. I only hope he will suceed wherever he plays.

The fact that team nowdays needs super striker to win big trophies is BS. And no striker apart from CR and Messi score 30+ goals per season. Another BS. What matters most is several players that can score, not one alone. Arsenal has RVP but him alone cant do much. Spain didnt had striker yet they won Euro. Its enough that Torres gets back in form and scores around 20 goals this year. There are also Lamps, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, possibly Hulk. And for seasons to come, Lukaku and Danny will take that role of scoring tandem. No need for another striker as long team can find back of the net together. We were 6th last year, 20 points behind winner and with some hard work and luck (but not fantastic game) won CL. I dont expect trophies, only World club cup, Supercup and Fa cup. If we get Hulk, maybe close fight for PL too, but Cavani alone will only fuck up our attack more. Getting Cavani would mean 3 things; 1.) final shot in Torres 2.) no more money for RW and RB 3.) big dissapointment for Mata

I think Mata could be key for Torres this year. I know they were playing together last year, but it was first season, and lot of games, Didi played ahead of Torres. About Mata; he had bunch of 'old men' around and to still complete all those stats in first year is unbelievable. This season, he will/should be even better. Im no surprised that guy was tired after 60 games in first PL season. Im just bit confused, when he was playing for Valencia, he was pretty pacey and quick, wasnt he

If HE wants to play there, fine. With such performances like in first half of last season, Im all for it. But he will probably try on his own and I dont think it would be good to have him at RW/

They (Hazard, Mata, Oscar) will eventualy become world class and they wont sit on bench. That is why they must play together. With Cavani, we get this then; Iva-Terry-Luiz-Cole Hazard-Mikel-Oscar-Mata Torres-Cavani Looks class, but Hazard play on wrong wing, Mata not in Cam, Oscar too deep, Cavani and Torres are used to be lone strikers with good support. If Cavani comes, Torres will be on bench. And speaking of world class, RW is still necessary. We should buy striker once we find proper Rb and Rw. And what is wrong with bale? 10 goals, 14 assists, decent in defence, fast and good crosser. But over expensive.

First playing with two strikers takes one midfielder of. That means at same time Oscar, Hazard and Mata wont play. Second, next season Cavani will be starter, Torres will be replaced by Danny and Lukaku will return. How will he ever get starting position then? Having him on bench wont make him any better either. third, he is nearly 40mio and 150,000 p/week wages. Plus I dont want we ever spend so much for striker unless he is Falcao. I take Hulk or Bale anytime for that money.

I agree there is so much interest for players that we are not linked, once there are links to them, people start to complain about risk, price, fitting the team, problems for our youth players,... Sure there are quite some people who still like the idea of signing those players, but not all. The next phase is when we actualy sign player and 90% are happy for it because this is our new player. And it should be so. When we are closely linked, we think about such players more and find some small problems, that we didnt care before. And it also better to like player we signed than not like it. And this things all fans do... The bigger problem is that once you might sign player, he is great, then he joins some other team and he is shit.

Lukaku loan to barca wouldnt be bad idea. I heard they are looking after tall strong striker Who compares Oscar to Lukaku? two different players, positions, ages, nationalities, styles,...you can never compare talents. Lot is in head and Oscar did prety well on bigger games. And no one realy expected Lukaku to start games, Torres and Drogba was much too heavy, but I hoped he will get some more time than he actualy got. While I expect Oscar to have much bigger role this year, maybe not starter, but as a player who can replace any man in our midfield or attack, he has much more chance to play because of his variability.

Even Torres could be flop and Danny and Lukaku are not yet top players, we need to be patient with them. Buying Cavani will bench either Torre or Cavani. Stupid to keeping Torres on bench, while he could be sold or buying Cavani if he will be bench player. And last We can forget about Danny and Lukaku if Cavani comes. They wouldnt play now and they would never be starters considering Cavani is only 23 and already top player. The only thing would be then to sell Torres and buy Cavani, but Gourlay said already Torres will start matches. As much I would like to see Cavani here, I dont want him realy because Danny and Lukaku are strikers we have and we need to trust in them. Getting Cavani is like saying goodbye to Lukaku and Danny.
