Then better we do the deal before Spurs get Moutinho. Because I guess then if Hulk leaves, Moutinho will stay Sadly he is only RW that is available of such class and also only one that will bring us different options; pace, explosive play, dribbling, crossing, individual actions, free-kick mastering, long shooting, strong physical presence,...I would pay for him up to 40mio, ahead of 10mio Moses, 16mio Schurrle or whoever else. Only Hulk can create imediate impact and different dimensional football. If Porto wants that money, so what, its not yours. Much better then getting Schurrle who will play only bit-part. I cant even imagine him play bigger role here. How? What atributes he has that we would be better then? Reus is 3 classes higher that Schurle and cost 25mio euro, I would never pay more than 10 for Schurrle and I like german players overall, but Hulk or Schurle is something that you cant compare.

As I know, when we bought Ramires from Benfica, 3rd-party owner had some shares of Ramires too and we managed to complete the deal. Usualy it is previous owner (Porto) who pays the money to these companies. But they want all 38mio, I guess that is why they wanted 45. Because 7mio of those 45 would go for the 3rd company. What will a team like Porto do with all that money anyway...

We are now looking to finalise deal with Oscar, Modric replacement.
-
Just get Hulk and Oscar.
-
I see nothing about this guy realy special. Average prospect, didnt show anything at euro and probably selfish. Not realy a winger and I think he will be good only in Germany. I hope we dont get him, realy worst option of all we have been linked...

I know its very optimistic but why do I have the feeling that the only reason Hulk and Oscar are not official signings yet is because there will be olympic games here in London and they will sign deal right after them. The games are most important for Oscar and even more for Hulk, with good performance, he would get standard place and more chances to play in WC 2014, Oscar too. Sure they dont want to get distracted by press if it would be already official deal. Its enough for them just to know they will play here, it doesnt matter if it is offical or not. All these rumours just couldnt be wrong, Hulk said he wants to play for us (remember that Twitter flirt with Chelsea), it was almost done deal and then nothing. Just some speculation that fee was not accepted...And since Hulk is number one priority, it would be perfect to announce him and Oscar together after olympics. After all, they wouldnt play in preseason anyway, since olympic games are in same time.

I cant imagine him as cam, it looks like Real would play Benzema as CAM instead of Ozil. In that position, we need someone who can dictate our play; Mata. Hazard is too young, Jovetic is more striker or supporting striker. He has good shots or passes inside penalty area, but he is not that precise passer and crosser like Mata. He wont exchange several passes with either Mata or Hazard on wings, because he would prefer to shoot on goal. And we need someone who likes to pass more than to shot. Would be good backup, but he is too expansive for that, since we are nearing to get Oscar and Hulk. At least thats the feeling I have...

Converting Oscar could be bad decision. He has that attacking minded play and if we give him defensive roles, he will not excell in neither, offence or defence. Perhaps I am wrong, but change of league and country will be big enough for Oscar, if he gets different position, he might not evolve his potential. Definately, we should first only try playing him as CM, then see how he feels in that position. I guess, he wants some free role around midfield area.

What was the only problem (or advantage on other side) with our old guard was that they were brought not realy young Anelka, Ballack, Malouda, Drogba all arrived when they were 26yrs plus. Lampard came at young age, or Cech, but there are many players, we couldnt use for more years, like Beletti, Deco, Sheva,... This having Hazard, Marin, Oscar, Luiz,...is new generation that is created with different intentions. Sure ending point is winning trophies, but old guard, Mourinho team or whatever is called was brought together to win PL and after it, CL. It didnt matter how, just win it in shortest possible time. This generation is made of great talents; it will be required longer time for them to win anything. The point is not win CL anymore, but play nice football, one that soon everyone will love. And with such style, trophies will arrive in few years. When Mata will be 26, we already might be one of teams with beautifulest and dominating football, while Drogba just arrived at age 26. Imagine how much could then Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Luiz, Cahill,...achieve. Certainly project worth a lot of attention.

Silva is more calm on the ball, plays one dimensional football and can tackle bit better, while Mata is younger and will get that calm passing and decision making, but he is already better dribbler and has ways to outrun opponent. I think they could be compared like Xavi and Iniesta. Both are unique and needed, but Silva suits Xavi more since all he does is more certain, while Mata (Iniesta) has faster play and more unpredictable. In the end, Silva is experienced player and has probably more stamina than Mata right now, maybe more balance, but Mata is two years younger and by age 26, he will get all what Silva has. But I agree, we shouldnt overhype him too much, he had fantastic season and I think next will be statisticaly less impressive, but his play will evolve into more responsible, more balanced. Having Hazard, Marin, (Oscar?), (Hulk?) along him, his play will be splitted between them and he will have more time to focus on game-dicatating. Player that just has something more inside than Hazard or Hulk. The spark, that truly reminds on that one of Zola.

Just saw you have it on same day Clichy is also having party on same day.
-
Modric isnt exactly good tackler or marker, yet he play double pivot in Tottenham. Oscar would be deep playmaker along Mikel. I guess he would be lined just a bit more forward than Mikel. I dont see him as regista, but some videos show he does lot of work in central midfield. But dont expect some heavy tackling from this guy. He is something between Mata and Lucas from Lpool type of player.
-
Thats something you dont ask CL champions. FFP doesnt exist for us this summer
-
Modric style of player. CAM, but plays as deep-playmaker for brasil. His atributes are passing, balance, fight for keeping the ball, crossing, vision. He is mentioned as Lampard replacement, but might also play in CAM or RW. Depend on formation. Has bright future, recently plays more (and better) for brasil than his more famous teamate Lucas. For more detail about who he is, watch some ytube videos and read previous pages. P.S.: I expect like for this
-
He will play bigger role than we think. Similar to Cesc at Barca, when Villa, Pedro, Messi, Xavi, Iniesta and Busquets were all fit, you could never put him in first XI, but he played much bigger role then. Something similar will happen to Oscar. As man above said, he is brasil international team starter, he might be more on bench, but he will come here as important player, not talent, prospect, future star,...He plays very good and should not compared to Lukaku, Romeu or Kdb. More to Cesc, who was first a sub, but played almost all games.
-
How to know when we sign Hulk? Well the forum will crash for an hour atleast
-
I will smile whole week if we sign Hulk and Oscar before 26 of july (my bday, but also start of olympic games). We will try to get Hulk till very end I guess.
-
It sounds impossible, but we were after Hulk and Modric. I think if Porto will be ready to sell Hulk, we will buy him, no matter we (will) sign Oscar. Sure Moses then falls of, but Oscar and Hulk wouldnt be that impossible. Hazard, Hulk, Oscar and Marin. It would be best transfer summer ever.
-
As long he keeps cool head and trains hard, there is nothing but sucess for him here.
-
Also to compare, lets say we buy Neymar (im sure many of you Danny doubters would love it) and sell Danny. Neymar would cost us 40mio min. We play him all time, all team plays for him, just because he has to prove we didnt spent 40mio for flop. He will net 15goals etc. If we kept Danny, he would be used as sub and ocasionaly play and without serious support for him, score 6 goals. The point is that money decided who will we play more and who less. If we spend 30mio for player, he will be starter, If we pay for player 8 mio, everyone thinks he will be sub. If Danny would come now for 20mio, we would love it, while now we have him already for free, people want to get rid of him, just because he had bad half season. Benzema needed time in RM, Rvp needed time in Arsenal, Chicarito needed time in United. Lets give Danny another year, I say. We bought him for cheap, we wont have loss with him either. Just keep some faith in our own talent.
-
Jesus, he is top prospect, one of few youngesters we actualy put in squad recenty and you want to dump him now? Torres had chances all year, support all year and he missed several 100% goals. Danny was in first half second most important player behind Mata, pushing Chelsea to at least top 4. That time, Torres, Cole, Terry, Cahill, Luiz, Lamps were all shit. Ending: Torres tried hard, had unluck, while Danny made more in terms of goals and assists. But become selfish. As character I like Torres more, as player too. But Danny was more important to us last year, is 7 years younger than Torres and can learn stuff. If both players could leave for the price they came (danny: less than 2mio, torres 50mio), I keep Danny ahead of Torres. And I like them both. But that is impossible and I hope we keep both of them and to have good seson together. Thankfuly, Danny will have olympic games to see him play and hope he impress. End.

World class players nowdays cost 40mio+ Just to mention, Ozil cost 10 or 15mio and look how fantastic player he turned to be. He was not world class and yet after two years he is. He came to Real nothing else but very fine prospect and Mou gave him chance in first team. I think getting Oscar for 25 is something similar, yes we will pay more for him, but no top prospect would cost less (Hazard, Neymar, Lucas, Muniain, Gotze,...). If we play him enough with possibly RW regular place, he has all potential to turn like Ozil. And all that in our club. We were buying world class players in Torres, Sheva,...no one gave us what Lamps or Drogba gave. Talent and lots of chances is enough to player like Oscar becomes class. And give me 4 world class available players, we might get this summer for 125mio? Give kid a chance, he plays better in Brasil than Lucas in these last matches. As much I would love Hulk on RW, lineup of Torres, Mata, Hazard and Oscar looks as much promising and exciting.
-
I like how you cant realy expect how good player will be, if we buy Hulk everyone will guess he will be star, but could turn to average, while here with players like Oscar, you can see how he grows to best of europe in your club. Something like that is fantastic. I think such signings are worthy double mention, now with Hazard, Mata, Oscar,...we can have truly magnificent team of players we made stars. If there is any other player i would equaly love to sign, its Hulk. I was watching him all time and he fits Chelsea perfectly.
-
Not gonna happen for that money. With Lukaku, it was different, but if Oscar can play in national team against best team of Argentina, Denmark etc, I simply trust him. Robbie simply wouldnt put 25mio for sub player.
-
Modric, Moutinho,...were all too expensive, I think Rdm wanted cm and we got him. To pay 25mio just to sit on bench is too much. I think Robbie sure has plans for him. Perhaps even as RW. But anyway we can get Hulk too. I guess we got more than 100mio from Cl win and probably we can afford that.
