Its going to be very interesting summer with Barca, ManU completely rebuilding their teams, City (defence), Arsenal (top striker) and us looking to complete our teams, Real to make their unnecesary signature big buy like every year, and then PSG, Bayern who could get a big signing aswell. Juve will probably look for more attacking players and Im curious who will Atletico and BVB buy after few players leaving.

If I was defender or midfielder who does lot of defending, Chelsea would be my favourite destination and perhaps Vidal would think the same...he would be very expensive, but him choosing us over real, barca and staying in juve will be the hardest part. If i went for another CM, I would choose Vidal type over Kroos type cm now that we have Cesc and if we keep Oscar. We still need defensive stability and Vidal-Matic-Fabregas would be very strong.

To be fair, are there any real world class defenders out there ala Canavaro, Maldini, Helguera, Blanc, Terry, Puyol,..? I dont think so. Ramos, Pique; Luiz,...are good players, but they are better in other things, not defending. When comes to defending, Cahill is better there. Thiago Silva, Chielini are better, but defenders in general are very poor in recent years and Cahill among those is actualy very good. But he wouldnt come close to Terry, Cannavaro etc in their prime. Also, Baines was terrible in wc, johnson was never amazing, jagielka was poor aswell. And there is gerrard who gives ball to opponent strikers...you donr see that in other top teams in general. England was exposed many times, they have no DM and the result is there. Cahill only mistake was that balo goal, but if there was no Cahill, england would concede at least two more goals. I agree, its easier to defend when whole team defends (even kalas looked world class vs liverpol), but Cahill was good whole season. @henrique Luiz will never be better defender than Cahill, maybe better player and will go further in WC, but his defending is worse than Cahill.

He already was good vs algeria. I dont know what people understand from term good though... That he will score a hattrick and few assists? Dribble 10 players? Neymar and Robben have different roles in their teams than Hazard. But even they, apart from goals didnt have that big influence. Its world cup and one man wont simply drive team to victory, its team work and Hazard is bigger team player than Neymar or Robben will ever be. I agree Hazard lacks that hunger to score, but its his first world cup, he is young and that will change.

He will go to arsenal?
-
Even if he scored 10 goals in tournament, it would mean shit all to Chelsea.. His form and how good he is will be only judged by his performance in chelsea kit. Nothing else.

No proper wingers, too many defensive players. Their speed of game is bit slow too. And lack of quality of italian football makes it dificult to match one in CL. Also Conte is too conservative, he isnt open to more attacking football. If they buy quality LB and RW, maybe LW, they could play 4:3:3 Lich-Barzagli-Chielini-LB ---Vidal-Pirlo-Pogba----- ------RW-Tevez-LW-------- Sanchez was linked, if they get him and keep main players (althrough both Vidal and Pogba will be hard), it will be some team. Maybe push Tevez or Berardi on Lw, dunno how it would work.
-
And I hope Mou isnt looking for another creative CM, because high pressing, speed and decent imagination is what makes you win in football today. Midfield of Matic, Fab and Kroos would get destroyed on high pressing.
-
He is quality and consistent. He will deliver in small and big games. Something you cant say for Shaw or Rodriguez. Im sure there will be full backs available in 3 years time, once Luis wont be good enough anymore. We need experience more than youth atm and I would only get Shaw now if i also had good experienced LB too (but it looks Cole wont be staying). Im all for english players to come and Shaw is more wanted because he is english, not because he would be what we need behind Hazard, neither is he that good yet. Cecs is 27 too, yet no one complains why did we buy him, instead of going after Barkley. Mou knows whats he doing and he will get proper LB. Money right now is not the issue.

It isnt important who we face and when, whats important is our form and their form when we play. I guess we will look more into rotation this time, also we should beat more small teams, main reason we lost title last year. This season should be fun
-
My only dislike on him is lack of desire and passion. He should be more hungry of success and try to get on ball more often, however I think in Belgium team, his role is not as big as is in chelsea. In our club, he is player #1, in Belgium, the players are more equal and less dependant on Eden. To conclude, he will need to have more influence and impact in games, he needs to show more, maybe he is still not completely ready after hard season and injury. I dunno. If you look Neymar, Gotze,...they want to get on ball all the time, they want to take on players, be in center of play. However Hazard doesnt realy care, just waiting someone to pass to him and look waaay too much "relaxed"...

People have seen Origi for first time who had decent game, now suddenly saying we should sell Lukaku and buy Origi...thats just one big LOL I saw Origi few times in Lille and he is raw, has great speed and very nice dribbling, but his finishing and decision making is still raw. Anyway my point is how people can imagine Origi will fit in our team? He is waaay too young and raw to be our second striker or whatever people think he is. First he is more winger than pure striker and no way he could make it here next season. The proper Lukaku replacement for example would be Benteke or sbd, but I would still keep Lukaku for at least another year and see what happens. On his game, his first touch is terrible, awfull and he gets dispossesed way too easy. But he can improve that, think of Lewandowski.
-
He has Raiola for his agent, when will you understand he orders him to say those things to get more attraction..
-
Why we signed Salah when we could just recall Atsu? He looks very good with ball, good runner and looked most creative player on pitch...similar to Salah, thing is we could save those 14mio...
-
I want us to remain strong in midfield, if we are about to add another midfielder, get Pogb/Vidal type. Now with Fabregas here, I prefer Oscar ahead of Kroos. Oscar runs more, works harder and can be realy dangerous as he did vs Croatia.
-
I dont think this will happen and I dont want this to happen. Way too offensive and Kroos and cesc both dont defend much. Unless jose will go full attack, I dont see this happening. And our CBs arent realy world class either, they need support from midfield too...
-
Doesnt matter who we get realy Ricardo, Luis,...whoever of their quality will massively upgrade our left flank. Someone who can defend and put good crosses, all I want.
-
Obviously because he will go to Arsenal
-
Why would we want Kroos now that we got Cesc? Are we going to play Kroos-Cesc-Oscar or what? If Mou is looking for Oscar replacement (based that cesc will play deeper), he should target Barkley as he is english and quite good...
-
That means Inter wants Lukaku and they also want 10m? Haha they are nutcases, Lukaku (based on potential) is probably worth more than half of their ageing squad... I think among Lukaku, Morata and Icardi, Lukaku has highest ceiling, and if he wont succeed, how could other two?
-
Stats dont tell the story IMO. Iniesta is still the best midfielder there is, always top in big games, always at his best and brilliant technique. Xavi got old and lost pace and isnt as good he was in the past and I dont see why didnt Barca play Thiago (last year) and Cesc more. I think they expected too much from Cesc, that he will somehow be better than Xavi in prime or Messi. Similar to our (too big) expectations about strikers every time. Barca tiki taka is over. They have Neymar, Sanchez, Rafinha, Deulofeu, Rakitic...who arent born to play such football, but faster attacking one. And no one will succeed if Barca keeps playing tiki taka. Thing is Iniesta and Xavi were super good and fans wont be happy with next midifelders until they become at least as good as Xavi or Iniesta. Kind of like Drogba and other strikers here... I think Cesc (if he has the drive and clear motivated mind), he will be good here and Barca will regret that a bit. I still dont get how would Rakitic improve their midifield anyway. If they want someone who could turn better than Cesc, they should target Koke, Kroos,...not Rakitic. He is good and had fantastic season but we are talking about Sevilla here. Put Fabregas in sevilla and he would be their best player by far. All in all, barca ever since the golden generation couldnt replace players, they bought Ibra, neymar, cesc, alexis, song,...and no one realy fits their philosophy. Its normal when fantastic generation needs to be replaced, you will not find such players in next 10 years at least. And barca should move on from tiki taka. I dont like about Cesc that he has very little impact on game, he cant realy lead the team, but then again he played for spain and barca with plenty class midfielders, and older generation have privileges.
-
If thats true he will probably stay.
-
Balo is class but he is time bomb, he seems to give a fuck for italy on tournaments but at club level he doesnt.
-
Cant wait to see them play in Slovenia :blue scalf:
-
Looks realy realy realy terrible decision he choose spain instead brazil when WC is in brazil. He will get booed all the time and will probably nervous rest of the tournament...but people say he is mentaly indestructible and this booes shouldnt hurt him...while he was clearly upset by them, his touch was realy poor.
