Considering we also buy Costa and Luis, the formations above pretty much say how we should play next year. But there are few things known to Mou only: 1.) Will he drop Ivanovic who is still very good in defence? =I guess he will because both Azpi (Mou praised him) and Luis are very good in defending, but also much much better in attack than Iva. There is always option to close down with playing Iva in certain games. 2.) Will Ramires stay in starting eleven (if he stays in club)? = I think not because his form is very poor. Top Ramires would definately get spot ahead of Oscar (because Mou favours such type of player), playing next to Cesc and Matic. But current Ramires is realy bad and Oscar (should he regain form) will be ahead no doubt. 3.) Who will play on wings? = Definite starters should be Hazard and Schurrle (if he has good WC). But since both play on same side best, unless Hazard gets moved into middle, Hazard and Willian will continue playing on wings, while Schurrle will stay on bench or right side. 4.) Endless discussion Cech or Courtois... Thats pretty much it, it will depend heavily on who we sell and buy. There are few players (who could play in first 11) that might leave the club: -Oscar -Cech -Ramires And there are few players Mou could still be interested (if we sell Oscar, Ramires): -Pogba/Vidal/Witsel/other CM/Dm -Varane/Benatia/Mangala/other CB -Di Maria/Sanchez/Griezmann/.... While Cesc-Matic-Oscar gives new dimension in attack, it leaves Oscar with even less freedom because Cesc isnt as hard worker as Ramires was, while Matic would become only real DM there and would have more restricted role. Thats why there is posibility that Mou might want to sell Oscar and Ramires to get Pogba or someone, but thats just speculation. I like Oscar and I hope things work out well, without selling him. As always WC will give few new football stars (like Ozil, Muller, Khedira,...last WC) and Mou might try to get one or two like he did back in Real with Ozil and Khedira. I genuinely hope we dont sell Lukaku aswell.

Where is barbara that said the main reason Oscar plays well for brazil is because opponents are shit and PL ones are soo much better? I think Croatia put a realy good performance and yet Oscar was great against them. And Im sure he will be good against any side they face. I think his excuses need to stop. He puts higher level into NT and less passion into Chelsea. Next season I expect form like today on regular basis (maybe few games off, but not half of season FFS)... He was realy good today after bad start, great for him.

Homegrown, can speak english and spanish well, PL proven (if that means anything), experienced and has great technique. Downside is that he is ex-arsenal player and his mentality could blow like Torres, he often dissapears iin big games and isnt realy hard worker (I remember Barca fans often complaining about his lazyness in final third and midfield when chasing the ball). We should see how things go. If Mou has plan and if it works, we will end up with greatest midfield in england and potentialy europe. If not, he will be another expensive flop that came here to get trophies, money and wont leave the club, like ''parasite'' torres... I certainly hope he gives his best to Chelsea.
-
Great! Just dont do a "Torres".
-
Modric would be 100x times better than Fab, but we will never get him. And I guess Fab will have to do it.
-
Why did he cut his hair :/ I guess because its realy hot in brazil, but that was his known look...imagine pirlo or Luiz with short hair...
-
Thats bad for both sides then if he doesnt want to move back...Wenger will again use him in wrong way, beside I think Vela was tailor fit for Laliga, unless arsenal use him as striker, he will have competition with Ox/Walcott and Im sure one will want to leave...
-
Great. Soon we will have enough deep playmakers to create a monopol over market it seems...
-
Rakitic to barca now clearly a done deal, yet no news about Cesc to Chelsea...it appears media is clueless as shit. I doubt this two deals are connected in way; as soon Rakitic goes, Cesc will go too... Im sure that Cesc deal to chelsea wont be done for a while because Barca will look for more offers...regardless of Rakitic. And media saying; it will be official on tuesday, then on tuesday they say it will be on friday...and that can go for another month or so. Just writing bs so that people buy it.
-
Well if they will want to move (Cazorla, Negredo,...), then money wont be a problem. Btw is Vela to Arsenal official? I know he said not long ago he doesnt want to return and recently that Atletico sent him offer he can not refuse.
-
I think Atletico wont be that bad next year...yeah they will lose Diego, Diego Costa, Villa, Filipe Luis, Tiago and Courtois; maybe even more, but they are also heavy linked with Cazorla, Vela, Siqueira, Negredo,...Im sure they will spend most of their money earned on new players like they did with Falcao, after selling Aguero back then. And now they will have plenty of money from sales, la liga win and CL final. Plus tv rights etc...they will have lot of money IMO.

I would understand PL loan, but why Koln?
-
This guy is extremely marketable...appearing in every commercial hah. He was realy a big public figure of Chelsea club...we will have to find new one. However I was thinking...IF brazil wins cup, with Luiz playing big role, Im sure Mou was one who couldnt fit Luiz in team and not Luiz who couldnt upgrade his game. If he can play on top level with brazil (they play similar football to us; counter attacks with lot of defending), I dont see how he couldnt perform here...and Mou didnt manage to make Luiz play best.
-
We lost Robinho back then, but we didt have Jose as manager. Im sure Mou wont allow something like this to happen with cesc.
-
I was just wondering...Oscar alrady has plenty of work in defense, even with Ramires and Matic. Now remove Rambo and put Cesc in, that means even more work in midfield for Oscar...and less freedom. I just dont think Cesc-Matic will be that succesful. Yes its great for smaller teams as plan b to break defences, but Cesc is far from Modric, Gundogan, Pogba, Rakitic work-wise. Those guys work lot and run lot, Cesc is brilliant individual but he doesnt add much to team as whole. Similar to Mata. I hope Im wrong because for 27m its worth a try, and might work brilliant but I dont think he fits into Mou tactical plan.
-
I dont think he will flop, but I wont get too excited over any striker we buy again until he performs well for us. The past few years we had many striker issues its almost unbelievable, apart from Drogba and Anelka...

I always knew that the penguins fly too
-
I dont even want to think what would happen if he flops. That would be disaster.
-
Oscar wasnt anything special back then at confed cup...WC will be even bigger test. Im sure he is taking friendlies careful, similar to Hazard and both will show best in WC. However if he gets average performances and Brazil dont win cup or get realy close, he will be axed from first 11 IMO. At least for some time until he proves he is good enough. This guy is one big mistery and lets hope he finds his form back, would be sad to see another talent leaving club after such promise.
-
If we do buy another striker along Costa, it means Lukaku is off. And with money from Lukaku sale, I would rather buy Benzema, not Mando. If the rumours about Suarez to rm are true, maybe Benzema will be sold.
-
Whats your point anyway? Just trying to counter my opinions or what...Lukaku never got proper chance here yet and you can make another 100 claps while responding to my comments, thats fact.
-
At age 21, Drogba probably didnt even play football Never say things that are this far in future. I agree though if Jose doesnt like him, no point keeping him. But I feel Lukaku sale would be even more stupid than Sturridge one. Board and coaches just never learn that one. We have these problems with strikers, we buy ones that turn shit, while ironicaly we sell those who are good, because board lacks trust and patience.
-
Uhm okay...so you say Lukaku got a proper chance at Chelsea? Just like Sturridge right? You do know strikers, unexperienced, at age 21 need around 10-15 straight games to say atleast and full support from manager no matter what. But hey, those three games with ton of pressure from Mou, were more than enough for Lukaku right? All strikers go through rough pattern and not scoring in 4/5 consecutive games, even best ones like Rvp, Falcao, Costa, Cavani,...Lukaku had bad start, but surprise surprise he actualy played good for Everton after he was given regular football. As I have feeling you dont believe in Lukaku too much, I will be happy when he proves you how wrong you were, either here or anywhere else.

On Tuesday, Chelsea will announce the signings of Costa, Cesc Fabregas, Luis, Koke, Tiago, Courtois (duh), LeBron James and Messi who will be directly loaned to Vitesse, sources claim. Media these days...
-
I said he couldnt help win any titles, but it was transition season and we didnt plan to get trophies. And even with Etoo we still didnt get trophies...
