Likely the best team in the world. We could actualy have Salah, Hazard, Kdb and Kante in the same 11. These have gone to become 4 best players in the league for years.
-
Willian the creator...you are having a laugh mate

Alexis is perfect example of just how much age, club and pressure affect the player. People however forget Pepe has to adapt two things. First is the league and second is the style of football. He played counter attacking football for Lille and now he is playing in a possession based one. He might be one footed, but his speed and dribbling ability along with finishing make him very dangerous. He will adapt. Berardo Silva went through similar process, going from a counter attacking ligue 1 side into possesion based PL one and it took him awhile. He likewise looked like a flop in the beggining too. Pepe, like Ndombele will make it in PL or at the very least in a top club.

And who says he wouldnt stay here if we were competing for CL? Or at least leave when he turned 30 or something... Even Drogba, Lamps, Terry flirted with other clubs but eventualy stayed because of the level we were playing at. One thing is love for the club which all above have. Hazard has it too and Im sure he will be a part of the club eventualy again once he retires. Then come football ambitions. Terry and the guard stayed here because PL was at the top then and Chelsea was competing in CL final rounds every year more or less. Why would they leave? Hazard had a much weaker team and if he actualy wants to win balon d or, he is likely to do it playing for "everyones" favourite Real. Obviously he also was a fan of Real and Zidane which makes the whole thing a bit different. CHO just wanted to move in a more stable team with certain playtime etc guaranteed. Now he has everything here and if we stay competitive, he will remain here too. As for the last part, sadly domestic isnt good enough. Im more than happy with those PL titles, but its clear players also want CL realy bad. So if CHO becomes one of worlds best, he aint staying if we dont play in semis or finals of CL.
-
Its all about how consistently he can do it. He is definately young and will have to work hard to adjust the league, but he has talent. The question is can he become consistent. Willy has amazing game sometimes but that happens rarely and thats why he just doesnt cut it.
-
You people still dont get it? Hazard left because we werent good enough. Because we were doing side steps instead of improving. If we remain like this for next 5 years, CHO will leave like any top player would (if he reaches that level). Suarez left Pool, Modric left Spuds etc. If we challenge for titles in europe and england, then the boy will stay here forever. Simple as that. Same applies to Mount, Tammy etc. There is super small chance that a top player will stay in the club that cant compete for CL in 5 years. Kante is rarity. CHO isnt some bad loudmouth boy, its just the reality of football today. Some dont want to hear the words because they are true. If Chelsea reaches 2010 level of quality, no one will want to leave the club. So its realy up to us.

Watching that video, I just had a hunch that Frank brought Chelsea the best era as a player and now he might bring Chelsea new best era as a manager. The vibe at the club is back and its special like it was with the old guard. Just to think if this team fullfills potential and add a strong signing or two. It realy could be next era for us. It just might be... Im so fucking buzzing seeing all these young players do well and actualy care for the badge. Also for the first time in years it looks like we are liked by the football community. Even our rivals praise the youth introduction. Fuck me sideways but moments like these remind me why I support Chelsea and will do it forever.
-
Indeed. We could score two more.
-
Pep and City best team of england, world etc...jokes That squad only runs over PL because they spent so much on their bench so they are still fully fresh come march when Pool and other teams start feeling fatigue. Tactics, first 11 quality and plan B; Liverpool and many teams from the past demolish this fraud team any given day.
-
This team will win titles soon. There are some fixes required, but the talents we have are fantastic. Willy and Alonso have been good today aswell. Its been a shit season defensively, but our attack is that good to keep us in the top of table, just 2 points off City. Seriosusly cant wait for more games
-
I think there is no chance we sell him if we give him the extension. Firstly he will be very expensive and also I think the board would extent his contract with intention to count on him.
-
One thing is to come up on tired defence when leading, something else is to play from the start. But at least he is getting some impact from the bench, thats cool.
-
Gueye was the one player they realy needed. He is a serious worker and their team had none of that in previous years leading to a bunch of awful defeats. Its interesting how shite defensively Everton is now without him.
-
He will definately explode once he adopts. Very good player.
-
We already have Tomori, Zouma, Ac and Gueghi who are all young CBs. Either we play those or buy an experienced one not another kid.
-
Willian wont last forever so the board had to find someone else to frustrate the fans.
-
He should get a game off too. Needs some rest an he will look much sharper on return
-
I see germans still hate jews (just joking before someone calls the police)

Worst Chelsea players in 21st century?
BlueLyon replied to NikkiCFC's topic in Matthew Harding Stand
Most dissapointing: Torres Worst player: Bakayoko possibly Most idiotic transfer: Drinkwater -
Why the fuck did we gave Willian #10 because that means the board decided he has to play regardless of what coaches think or they will be under pressure and why did we spent 60m on Pulisic? This board still didnt learn shit.
-
You are right but only half way. You will never convince me that a team without a single leader at the back will successfully take coach instructions during games like this. You always need an experienced or extremely calm and composed young player to lead the back line during actual play. I agree Lamps is not doing enough, but even the best coaches would struggle with these players. Alonso and Zouma are mistake to happen, Tomori is young, Azpi is past it and Kepa pulls stupid shit here and there. Then add that we dont even have a proper DM. What do people expect? We will ALWAYS get hit on counter and at set pieces with such team.
-
Ajax away meanwhile leads 2:0 vs Valencia. As i said two weeks ago, Valencia is crap and we managed to be even worse not to take advantage over them at SB when they had huge internal issues. Again we struggle vs Lille, big thanks to Willian suffocating our every attack, not to mention that corner was a result of Lille counter attack where Willian casualy went into 4 opponents and lost the ball.
-
Why is it surprising that we suck at set pieces? You need a tactical experienced defender/GK that can organise the defence. Who is that player here? Tomori, Zouma, Kepa are all too green and Azpi was never perfect in those situations. We realy need an experienced CB and then we will be much better in those situations
-
Hopefuly Cech gives him a few tips here and there.
-
Ikone, Bamba and now Osimhen are by far the best players there. It used to be Mendes and Pepe but both have been sold. I predict quite a few goals with us edging them. They lack the experience IMO but otherwise a very decent side.
