City was splashing the cash like mad so its nothing to compare here to begin with. Its true that Pool was better against big teams and worse against smaller, but their play was about attack which worked well due to a system and adaptable, smart manager despite them not having world class attackers. Their defence was a massive leakhole too. Lamps was like Klopp thrown into a disfunctional team and brought the most he can by playing football that relies on team work. While we use plenty of youth, Klopp relied on less proven, cheaper players and turned them into a stars. Similar, Lamps is doing it with Mount, Abraham,... And in the end, like with Pool, we will have to 1. strenghten our back line, be smarter and 2. buy a top player or two to add extra quality. Obviously there are differences but there are many many similarities. City bought just everything they wanted, Pep didnt make stars, he bought those because he couldnt adapt like Lamps or Klopp did. Dude spent 100s of millions on CBs and with Laporte out, they are realy in bad shape not to mention they will again fork shitload of cash for replacement. Klopp adapted with the likes of Lovren and Matip. Lamps will adopt with whoever he gets too. Literaly one similarity is the one you mentioned, that being we and city both play good against worse sides and worse against good sides. But the way we are rebuilding, the manager ideology and adapting, financial output, importance of team work and belonging to the club is nothing like City.

We need Willian replacement, CB, LB and allround striker. Thats something we can bring over 2 windows and within two seasons when our youth develops we are back to challenging the title. Just stick to the current plan with Lamps and bring quality players. The similarites are near identical to how Pool played under Klopp in the beggining.

He needs rest or rotation like most of the squad. Since City game we dont look fresh at all. Its important that all of Kante, Kovacic and Mount are fit, so we have two options for every position.
-
But we all know Edens play is way more than just goals and statistics so is that even a strong comparisson? Bats was at one point scoring plenty per minutes, doesnt make him prime Ronaldo. That said, Pulisic is doing well, but IMO pointless to compare just stats vs Hazard who is obviously the better player.

Obviously our shooting was crap because their GK was giving our forwards death stares all the time, duh
-
Ffs we are young side and obviously we will have shit games without getting a result. Stop overreacting. Also that WHU GK pulling a performance of a lifetime just against Chelsea and then next week they will concede 5.

-
Serves well these spanish twats
-
Kepa again doing stupid things...
-
What the fuck is wrong with Kepa and his sabotage passing to opponents... Happens nearly every game now.
-
Arsenal makes Xhaka their captain...he tells fans to fuck off Now Aubameyang, their new captain is linked with move to Barca and we all know he will go if they want him. Water is wet and arsenal is still the joke of London.

I couldnt give a toss about possesion but we managed to record most possesion against Pep side in his entire coaching career. With some experience, we will grind out the results aswell.
-
We are getting better tbh, but simply not enough experience or leadership which shows in some games where we defend realy stupidly.
-
City away...a draw would be nice. But with a very strong performance, we could even get something more.
-
From the available players list, he is a no brainer. English, young and super promising. But looking at the list of players we realy need are CB, RW and striker.
-
No matter what people say, he will always be a true blue. Even now that he plays for "biggest" club in the world, he finds time to praise and show love to Chelsea.
-
Jose part 1: ruin United Jose part 2: ruin spuds True blue
-
Alli is one of those players that if they dont score they are basicaly useless in the team.
-
Improvement of the year definately goes to this guy. He could end up close like Kdb, Salah etc except he stayed here
-
I guess this is what a gift from the above looks, this is pretty close 2 reds and a pen, thats about as much as you can ask for a complete reset lol
-
Haha fuck the doubters goo chels

Your profile pic is outdated 😁

Indeed. I wrote him off too soon because he looked lost most of last season, but he improved alot. Much like Jorginho too.

This team is and will be something else. Big things coming. I havent been this hyped since around 2010.
