Beards. Beards everywhere😁

Yes, next time when you need a doctor exam just do it on skype😁

Any guesses for the starting lineup? James or Azp? Pulisic in first 11?
-
For 55m I guess there are certain standards.
-
The one player I wish we signed is Dani Alves. He said it himself that everything was done for him to join chelsea but then he was sold to barca. He was a cunt but absolutely fantastic rb. Imagine him and Cole in same side.
-
I admit I didnt watch every game this season for the first time in ages, but from what I remember Puli was good in couple of games and even scored a few goals, but the he faded. He was even dropped for a key game and brought later but didnt show much IIRC.
-
He is more decisive and works harder. With Ziyech, Kai (I dont know how much Werner tracks back) we will lack some grit and running/pressing. RLC, Pulisi, Odoi arent hard workers. Mount is. When it comes to pure talent, neither is Hazard level of potential. And then comes the work which I think Mount does way more due to personal Lamps guidance and fact he isnt going to play because of price tag or being the wonderboy. He has good mentality. Beaides if he sucks, then Pulisic will play or whoever. I just think Lamps loves Mount and can mold him to his own playing style back in the day. Lamps wasnt as talented as Kaka but he worked hard and had superb mentality. Sure he was great footballer, but that Mount has the potential too.
-
Pulisic is still question. He wasnt super liked by Frank. But his fee and renome being american will give him more playtime. Id say Kai Werner Mount Ziyech Kovacic Kante That would be lineup because Mount is definately going to be big player for Lamps. At least thats what he plans. But if Mount delivers, thats another thing.
-
Would be funny if we had CAM (Kai) as striker, striker (Werner) on LW and another CAM (Ziyech) on RW 😄 But thats almost what Pool did with Firmino and Salah and it works. If we plan to buy Kai for #10, Id honestly avoid it. Great player and all, but we have Mount and RLC and Ziyech who can play there. +there are other areas needing strenghtening. LB will come regardless and with potentialy Kai signing, we will never pay Chilwell but rather Tagliafico, which is even better. However CB or DM are equaly important and we dont have stand out players there. But if we bought Kai for CF, that would be brilliant. Im always a big fan of allround forwards compared to just goalscorers and Kai is that. Plus there is Werner on left that will surely score quite many and solves lack of goalscorer upfront.
-
I think he is not good enough and would never pay that price if it was up to me. Thankfuly there are many clubs in PL that consider Barkley a good asset with decent potential, english nt player etc.
-
Just more empty words man
-
Tbh I can see Barkley find another club given he is english and relatively young. Bakayoko has been around many rumours I guess his agent can transfer him well. Michy or Drinkwater I have no idea who would want them for that money.
-
The only way this makes sense is if next season is all about sorting attack and then season after the defence; DM, CB, GK etc. In a way it makes sense to not completely overhaul both ends and see if Kepa, AC and Tomori perform well or we need upgrades. Because with Havertz we would have a star attack and rather poor/average defence, regardless if Lb comes or not. Maybe this is simply an opportunity since Werner and Kai are frends, or maybe we are taking advantage of the crisis. Who knows. We certainly have plenty of cash with Hazard, Morata, possibly Bakayoko, Drinkwater,...sales I doubt it but its been long time since we were so active for big players. Maybe Roman got so bored in quarantine he said fuck it lets do 2003 again😁
-
I guess the deal has to be done by next week if its not completed already. But announced could be by the end of the season. Many clubs keep this until season is done to avoid any unrest by players, fans etc. Leipzig is still fighting for top 4 and they proly want full fans support for their players including Werner.
-
Barkley should leave indeed. Jorginho too. Not because he isnt good enough, but because he is too good for the bench and doesnt offer something different compared to Billy or Kova. All three are holding mids that can dictate. Thats why we should sell Jorginho while he is still worth something and buy solid DM who can add another plan to our game if we need to close the lines.
-
Tbh only Pulisic, CHO and Ziyech are good enough to be wingers in the long run. Just because Mount can play there, doesnt mean he is a player you need out wide in key moments. He is better as CAM. Pulisic and CHO seem to struggle with injuries which leaves us without any pacy winger. If Werner signs, that would be alternative, but he is a striker. So its clear we need one more winger there. Benrahma is simply not good enough. He isnt experienced enough to guide you in key moments nor has potential to improve. Its just shortsighted to pick him over someone like Boga who has the tools to nail down that LW spot. Pulisic nor CHO have shown that they are good enough. If we had someone like Hazard, Benrahma as backup would be fine, but we dont have a proven LW yet. Boga wouldnt come here only as rotation but also as competition.
-
We will as you said need another winger. And Boga for those 15m would be steal. He was one of better wingers in serie a and fantastic dribbler. Now there are reports we are linked with Benrahma for the same price. I mean why would we pick him over Boga?
-
Whats with this Alaba talk? I dont see any rumours or anything that would suggest he will be sold. Even with Sule back, he will be starting CB for Bayern. Also I hope we are not stupid to pay that Chilwell price. That way we would outdo all the good work getting Ziyech and Werner for great price. Tagliafico is miles better and cheaper. That said overpriced fees paid by PL clubs sometimes do work out (Dijk, Sterling) sometimes not so much (Maguire, Stones). If Chilwell exploded it would be worth, but its just too much risk.

As much as I despise United, I have to give big big credit to Rashford. He is a great example how to be humble and use the fame, connections and money in good way to help others and promote goodness. In a football world full of divas and adults who act childish, Rashford is a nice change of pace and reminds me of old school strikers like Didi or Etoo who used their football achievements to do something good outside of football too.
-
I do agree that Werner isnt as great player as his stats say. On the other hand for example Lautaro is miles better than what his stats are. But Werner is quality still. Just a matter if he will fit into the system. I fully trust Lamps and co to build this young team, in a long time we have a manager that I believe can actualy build a squad. Conte or Mou (second time) might have been better managers but they were both short sighted. Lamps is building slowly but steadly. Mount, James, Tomori, Tammy, RLC, Odoi and all the foreign young players have a good place to develop finaly.
-
Thats more down to PL being shit. It still is but the league at least has 2 top tier teams now. Pool was already giving them trouble in past years, but they werent consistent, however this season they have completely destroyed them. IMO a much better team compared to City from year or two ago.
-
Yes its all about balance. For me Pep rotates absolutely too much and then City doesnt have a standard 11 that would be ready for big games. Thats why they always crash in CL or big games in PL. But its perfect to demolish small teams because players are always fresh and Mahrez/Bernardo/Sane (or any other positoon) posses enough quality to beat those. When they face big team however, that individuality isnt enough and given they rotate too much, they dont have top chemistry like Pool does who keeps standard 11 for basicaly every match when fit.
-
Rotation is important indeed with regular fixtures, but a stable 11 is what gives team consistency and wins. Thats why in general I prefer LW who can be LW only but is a damn good there. Same goes for other positions. However given we are in rebuild and looking that perfect formation and everything, the versatility is good thing to have. I just reckon if we will be shifting dudes left and right entire season, there will sure be crap runs inbetween.
-
We will likely play with Tammy Werner upfront. Werner plays in strike partnership in rb already + he is rather bad for german team as sole striker Also I doubt Lamps will suddenly drop Tammy (or Mount) who are like his kids in this team. Tammy Werner Mount Kovacic Kante Ziyech LB Tomori Rudiger James Kepa Or 4231 with Werner and Mount/Ziyech on wings.
-
Until we sign a proper DM, our defence will be leaky. People scream for new CBs when we play with fricking Jorginho or Kovacic in holding mid. Only Bayern of the big teams fields a non typical DM and he is still extremely hard worker in defence. Other top teams have Fabinho, Marquinhos, Casemiro, Rodri, Partey. Busquets is obvious exception and never in a million years can Jorginho perform at such level, nor can we display such tiki taka possesion based football which is dead anyway these days with new tactics. Until we sign proper DM, this team wont have the balance. LB, DM and a winger (unless Werner would play on wing) are the priorities now. Even if we play double pivot, Jorginho should be sold because he is too good for bench and we would still need to bring a DM. And who knows what is going on with Kepa. He was completely done last season, but I guess one more season to give him a chance.
