Isco is overrated. He is better player than Oscar but still overrated. And he is the kind of player that makes it nice to watch, but doesnt win you trophies. Midfield of players like Koke, Verratti, Pogba is what I would like at chelsea over Gotze, isco, Ozil, Thiago etc any day of the week.

Real Madrid is most lunatic club that ever existed. From their owner to their fans, they are never happy and only want more more and more. They are just never happy with what they have. Two years ago, Perez wanted to make Real more spanish because at that time it was very popular. He got Isco, Illaramendi, Carvajal, Morata, Jese and projected they will all get in team. But very soon he didnt care about that project anymore. Now Morata is sold already, Isco, Illara, Jese dont get regular play, while Carvajal...well Madrid spent 30m on Danilo. Honestly I lost last piece of interest after they got rid of Di Maria (who was key player for them) and bought James just because he was popular at the time. And that comes from someone who was ''supporting'' Real since the days of Zidane and all the way when Mou was manager. I was always for Real vs barca, but they crossed the line. Its like watching a bussiness company, not football club.

When Yaya was younger and even later, he had much more drive and pace in him than Pogba has. You can see him run through half field using his strength and speed. I havent seen Pogba do that many times. At free kicks, Yaya was also miles better than Pogba. Elsewhere they are both quite similar. Both are strong, skilled and posses a powerful shot. Potential wise, Pogba has it skyhigh now and if he gets there, he will be a better player than Yaya. Though I have been thinking, football nowdays is oriented in way that big tall players just arent recognized as #10, but through careers Pogba and Yaya are naturaly much more AMs than they are DMs, despite their body structure.

He is poor finisher with poor end product, but he is a pretty damn good dribbler with great balance and strength for such small player. Not to mention he is just 20 years old, obviously he will improve. Plus he scored around 10 goals for two seasons in a row, which isnt that bad either.

IMO Juve got ripped here a bit. Dybala had one relatively great season and like you said, just one year left. Few years ago it was Pastore, last year Iturbe, this year Dybala. I would think twice before spending this amount on such player. And Juve has fair share of players in such position already. Tevez, Morata, Llorente, Berardi and Coman. But if he is a success, he could lift Juve on next step I guess.

yeah and Matic will defend everything riight? People are so naive. Thinking we will sign Isco and Reus and turn into attacking side ala barca. That side looks weak as fuck to begin with, not to mention Mou will never play open in crucial games such as finals which means buying these players is useless. Why would City even consider selling him to us? Yes Yaya can push for transfer if he wants, but we would still have to overpay to city for him. If Inter rumoured fee was around 10m, City would demand at least 15m pounds for us. That is alot for 32 years old with giant wages. But I have to admit, he would be exactly the signing Mou would make.

Through both legs Pep lost with bayern against real 5:0 and against barca 5:3. With two heavy defeats. Just a year earlier Bayern won against barca 7:0. BUT they wouldnt lose the way Pep did in last two semis. Bayern had Dante-Boateng pairing and they had generaly superb defence. Pep turned that defense into a joke, despite bringing Benatia. He decided to use Javi as CB while he was beast DM (he eventualy got injured though). He bought Thiago and sold Kroos who was IMO future of pre Pep Bayern. He improved their passing and perhaps mentality. But he also ruined their speed, their defense, their pressing, their efficiency, their ruthless counter attacks. In short, he turned winning bayern in keep the possession bayern. Winning buli was expected. Even more after Bvb turned shit. If he didnt win that league with team he had, he would be fired before he could say hi. He brought cosmetic additions to that team, but took everything they needed to win titles; balance. Not to mention they completely fell apart in recent weeks, and interestingly, Bayern (apart from Robben) had no significant injury crisis before, now under Pep players are injured all the time. Trust me, everyone will say pre Pep Bayern was better. It was more ''german'' and with Pep, he brought spanish players, spanish philosophy and zero ability to adopt to different tactics. No thanks. And Pep had nothing to do with German WC. He was instrumental in spain WC, but not german WC win. Since 2010, Germany was guaranteed to win at least one title sooner or later and they did. Almost fucked up when Low tried some Pep ''tactics''. Heynkess bayern was no perfection either, they lost to basel among others in CL few years ago, but eventualy they became killing machine, adaptable and improving. Pep has yet to do something great with bayern in first place to even discuss which side was better.

Low almost fucked up when he tried Pep tactic of sticking Lahm in midfield. Once he pushed him back to LB, Germany was much more dominant. Dont give me crap that Germany won world cup because Pep came to bayern and inspired players or whatever. Secondly, Bayern was a machine that destroyed everything before Pep. What he did to bayern is almost unacceptable. He can be lucky that he even won german titles because Bvb turned shit. Current bayern would stand no chance against 2012 Bvb. Lastly, his work in barcelona gets all the respect from me. That side despite I disliked their style, was one of best teams ever. Thanks to players, but also big thanks to Pep for putting everything together. Partly that inspired Spain aswell. But Bayern and Germany WC win, Pep has nothing to do with it. Bielsa did quite a great job with youngsters in Bilbao, I think he could do some wonders to at least 1-2 players we loan to him. As he is quite neutral, he will pick best talents he will have. If Marseille gets french coach again (or someone close to Marseille), then it could easily turn that he will favour their own talents, something that wouldnt be good for Boga, Musonda etc. But mind that Bielsa demands hard work and discipline, I hope loanees wont complain, because if they do they will sit on bench all time.

He would look like a typical Mourinho signing if it happens. Old, experienced, weird move, looks like he is past it, but in the end he would probably end as one of key players of next season. Hardly doubt about this move, but it would be interesting option. While he is lazy, Im sure Mou would know how to get the best of Yaya.

I wouldnt even want Thiago tbh. So far, too injury prone and doesnt fit into Mou system as Verratti/Pogba would. Thiago alone is wonderful player, but despite he works hard, he is player born to play in possesion team. Talent would be wasted here. Verratti, Pogba or Koke on other hand can perform brilliantly even in defensive tactics.

Yes it could be what you say indeed. Oscar and Cesc is very poor choice as neither has strength or balance to keep the ball. But then again, Cesc is best as CM next to Matic (who should not be blamed or anything, Cesc has privilege to have such defensive partner IMO). Therefore our #10 should be stronger with great defensive ability, but I doubt such player exist (Pogba maybe). Shifting Cesc to #10 with Matic and another defensive partner would make little sense either, our pivot would have little creativity while Cesc isnt even that great at #10. While I would give Oscar another season to prove, I dont think him and Cesc at same time could boss the games regardless if there is Matic behind them. Verratti/Pogba/Koke would be very nice, but impossible to buy I think.

Am I only one who is just not sold on Cesc? He is fantastic player with great vision and played big big part to title, but in big games he was the main reason why we got completely overrun by any decent side. He cant maintain his level in certain games and that is our big weakness. It could have something with his mentality or character, thats why I never want to see him as captain unless he improves in that consistency aspect. While you see Verratti, Modric, Schweinsteiger, Iniesta perform same good in big games, Cesc goes missing. I would tend to agree thats because of Mou tactics, but it was same back in barca.

While Cesc and Oscar can be great individual players and further improve, I doubt we will ever dominate midfield with those two in midfield at same time.
