  1. I think it will be either Argentina, brazil or chile as hosts. Uruguay has no Suarez and Mexico has left half team at home. No Herrera, Reyes, Guardado, Gio, Chicarito etc. Colombia might surprise if Falcao and Cuadrado hit form.
  2. I would take last year's Ramsey any day. But this year he wasnt nearly enough consistent. Then there are injuries.
  3. If we somehow got Sanchez for Cech, that would be just lol.
  4. If Arsenal actualy gets rumoured Jackson and Scheniderlin, us giving Cech to arsenal too could give them hell of alot chances to win title. They spent 50mio twice in row now, so Jackson for 30 and Scheniderlin for 25 isnt impossible for them. Cech is no Mata that we could sell to rival. He is winner, world class GK and will give the massive boost in title race. People shouldnt be naive when it comes to football. Atletico managed to beat of two fantastic sides last year in laliga. Arsenal if they manage to keep their players fit and bring 1/2 top players in, will be at least 2nd next year IMO.
  5. His contract runs out in 2016. Juve will have hell of a problem with ageing Pirlo, Pogba who will leave eventualy, Vidal who might look for a new challenge and Marchisio if they dont extend. Not to mention Tevez wants to return to argentina. And there is Morata who might be tempted to return to RM.
  6. Khedira to Juve is now official. http://www.juventus.com/juve/en/news/khedira+signs+for+juventus
  7. I would go this way Courtois Iva-Kos-Jt-Azpi Matic-Cesc Alexis-Cazorla-Hazard That makes 8 vs 3. With Coquelin, bellerin as backup who are young and could end up being very good. And Oscar who i have not given up yet. he is young and will have long rest finaly, he could surprise a few next season.
  8. Ya know, Marchisio is almost 30 already.
  9. If he is willing to take as big paycut as he did his haircut, Im all for it.
  10. Lacazette plays much much better for Lyon than France. Right now, Benzema will probably be first choice for Deschamps, but eventualy it should be Lacazette. Giroud has one oddly good game and 5 poor ones. One big advantage Lacazette has is if Fekir and him stay in lyon for at least another year, they could develop realy good relationship on pitch. They played just one full season together and match each other perfectly. Lacazette downside is that sometimes if he doesnt score, he goes completely missing in game. But he is far from being poacher or whatever. His skills are quite amazing for striker. Martial is also big prospect indeed. Another from lyon academy. They realy benefited in recent years. Fekir, Lacazette, Martial, Tolisso, Ferri, Umtiti, Lopes etc.
  11. I guess so...maybe he will be loaned back to sevilla till january, but there was no report on that. He will probably just train with barca, get to know the players etc...
  12. Aleix Vidal to Barca is now official. Anyone knows why exactly did Barca bought him? He is good, but I dont think he is goo enough to replace Dani Alves...Is he going to be backup only or what?
  13. Once Fekir and Lacazette settle in, France will benefit big time. Giroud was bang shit.
  14. Good game. Lots of goals, some nice saves. Nainggolan and Payet with superb goals too. Never saw Denayer before (actualy if I remember correctly I saw him when he was playing for Celtic vs Maribor in CL qualifications), but he was far more impressive today. With Vermaelen turning into complete invalid, Belgium has replacement already lined up in Denayer.
  15. French fans are a disgrace...Fekir coming on for Valbuena and whole stadium is booing him for having algerian roots. Should face punishment, racist pricks.
  16. France down 4:1, seems they are missing Pogba.
  17. You are right. If he develops properly, he will be top 5 midfielders in world and probably most complete one too. That said, if we want to win CL next year (not that I demand it, but if Mou seriously wants it) then, Matuidi, Vidal, Yaya (just throwing some experienced quality CMs there) could be more useful for us IMO. Long term, Pogba is the answer no doubt. But I just think people want CL next year, and if we buy Pogba for 80m and not win it, everyone will lose minds. Pogba is not the one to get us CL next year if we end up buying him. He is the one that will help us win many trophies for a period of next 10 years or so.
  18. I said Reus, Griezmann, or even Fekir. What I meant, first two are top quality, while Fekir is more long shot, but could still work. And Fekir is twice the player Salah is. More balance, strength, ball control which is absolutely crucial in PL and Chelsea. Thats why Schurrle, Salah (less ball control - by that I dont mean dribbling, but holding on ball) or Cuadrado (little to no balance) have not worked here, but Willian to some extend did (he actualy has good balance and control). Fekir also adds finishing, passing etc. He is raw, but trust me he is gonna be one of france key players in future if he continues to develop. I watch Lyon since that generation of Essien, Juninho, Cris, Coupet,...and Fekir, Lacazette are at least as promising as Benzema, potential wise. If you ask me I would say Reus would fit best, Griezmnan or Fekir would be good, Salah would be average. He just doesnt strike me as someone who could hold on the ball in attack. He is more run and shot guy. Good dribbler but so is Cuadrado... Griezmann is better finisher than Fekir, but Fekir is more physical and has greater balance. Sometimes you need that to start a career in PL in first place. In PL you wont just pass defenders like you do in La liga. Contact is much more common here.
  19. You are right about last two seasons. Marchisio was very good in 2012/13 and even more in 2011/12, while Vidal was absolute beast in 2012/13 and 2013/14. This season however Vidal wasnt as great since his injury ruined him abit. Pirlo was also always instrumental for juve for past few years, but this season Pogba was certainly their best CM, at least in Serie a.
  20. Juan was not shit for fiorentina. If he was shit we wouldnt pay 30m in first place. He wasnt as great as last year, but still if he took his performances from fiorentina to chelsea, he would bench Willian. Salah was hit indeed, but starring in fiorentina doesnt make you chelsea talent either. What is give him a chance anyway? He will get one game, thats it. He wont play 10 straight games for chelsea to get form, confidence or whatever. If you are good enough you are good enough. Take a look at Sanchez or Costa. Delivered from beggining. Im being harsh on Salah, but he was here, he didnt do much and honestly good season in fiorentina wont make me change mind. I rather see us spend time and potential lack of positive results with giving chance to one of our youth than Salah. Either get some foreign player who will deliver from start, or focus on giving chance to our youth players (Boga for example). I dont think Salah is not good player, but far from what you want to improve our RW in order to compete with Barca, Real or Bayern. And about Fekir, yes I think he is better than Salah. Not as good as Reus or Griezmann obviously, but performed brilliantly for Lyon this season. I prefer players from france than italy. We got Drogba, Hazard, Azpi, Essien to name few who did superb for us. Thats why Fekir would be good option IMO. Never said he is WC so I dunno where you got that from. But if you saw Fekir play sometimes, you would notice he is one of finest talents from france.
  21. Because he isnt good enough and needs to show it first? He was great in fiorentina but that wont change opinion on him. Cuadrado was great there too and look how it is. Salah is starting player for totteham not Chelsea, simply as that. We need to aim higher like Reus, Griezmann or even Fekir.
  22. It all comes down to numbers. Loan for low fee with low wages and having Falcao as third choice would be superb. Buying Falcao for 30m plus and big wages for third striker would be worst deal since Torres.
  23. EVERY juventino will tell you Pogba was their best midfielder this season. Just watch a few seriea games before pogba injury. I agree with #4 completely though.
