Its good to wait true, but somehow I realy dont see any top winger being available. Barca or Real have no such players available (I think Bale wont leave soon), so if there will be any top winger available outside those two teams like Reus, Real will be waiting for sure. Last year it was different, both Alexis and Di Maria moved from those two teams so they were ruled out. But this year, Real will look to get huge signing and they will definately target Reus if he is available for example. But all in all, who else might be available? Pedro, Gaitan, Feghouli, Fekir, Vela, Lucas, Brahimi, Anderson? Neither is better than Turan and would cost shitload of money. Griezmann in my eyes shouldnt even be considered as RW option tbh. IMO Turan could well be best choice this year. Question is if we need him or not. But I dont see us go through season with only Haz, Oscar, Willian, Cuad for 3 spots. And in the end we will settle for another decent backup that will cost at least 25m anyway, but wont have much impact. At least Turan has character and can be quite a decisive figure in our CL run.

Dont worry, we will make some more transfers. I do agree Falcao is pointless, but Begovic is probably best backup GK we could find right now. Key right now is to bring RW because Hazard, Oscar, Willian and Cuadrado is little short for three spots, and a versatile CM to cover for Cesc would be great aswell. If Mikel or Luis leave, we will definately find replacements for them aswell. Summer window only just started and it looks Mou will be buying quantity rather quality, so its best to wait on proper targets and buy them when available. But IMO it would improve us alot if we brough another top CM to play 4:3:3 or top RW, but there are apart from Turan, Vidal almost none avaliable.

Maybe but if there is injury, or simply rotation, I would trust Luis over Baba anyday in near future in CL games for example. I must say I didnt watch Baba much, but he will definately need time to adjust, not to mention he is like 20 years old and needs regular playtime which seems impossible atm at Chelsea.

Im just not sure how will Baba young inexperienced LB provide more defensive stability than Luis, CL finalist from team that plays similar to us.

We are playing hardball with atletico which might not be that good. When we will look for their players like Saul, Vietto, Oliver, Koke etc they will squeeze every cent from us. Also, this Luis is not good enough defender is bs. He might not have best season, but I believe that was because he was adapting to PL and didnt get regular play time to catch form. He played for most similar team to us, team that priority is to defend and counter. Team where defenders were always under pressure. And he did brilliantly. Many said he was on par as best defender along with Godin. Anyway he certainly isnt defensive liability. He is still quick enough and agressive to cover for Terry, but he is also great at overlaping, very helpful for Hazard. Even Dunga picked him ahead of Marcelo because Luis is more reliable in defense. He was certainly best allround Lb of 2013/14 season, not sure why didnt Mou get the best of him. Maybe he doesnt suit PL, but I think he would catch up if given week in week out games. For CL he would be perfect. To say at last, he is brilliant backup and shouldnt be sold.

But Turan as individual and team player is alot more useful than Pedro. Turan is not a stats type player, just like Iniesta isnt. Honestly do people even know Griezmann is left winger and partly a striker? And apart from his goals, he is quite useless? Cant create much, isnt great at hold up etc. In big games he was often invisible for majority of the match. And physical difference between laliga and PL would only make it worse...but he wouldnt even play on his favourite position, yet he would bring us to next level? He has great runs in open space, top finish, but playing against spanish defenses is easier because there is more space. He started Atletico career on wing, but wasnt convincing. Simeone started him as striker or second striker and he was alot more influental. Yet people think he is typical winger, complete change of his playing position wont affect him much, and because he scored 22 goals, he is going to be great hit for us on right side...more like another Cuadrado, but with alot better finish. First thing for any attacking player coming to PL is to have good balance. Take a look at Hazard, Alexis, Cazorla, Silva who all did well. Griezmann doesnt have great balance, he is pushed off the ball alot, we need to keep the ball more when in possession, as was clearly evident from last season that we cant. Griezmann wont solve shit in that aspect... We need goalscoring winger, but Griezmann is not solution. Bale or Alexis type of winger will work for us, but not Griezmann. I like Griezmann, he is good player, but I would never play him as RW, never mind in Mourinho Chelsea, where he would have to work his ass off and cover for Brana.

But but there are so many on here who think Zouma-Varane would work... Varane might be more experienced than Stones, but he is still 22 and even playing for Real or in cl final wont be equal of having years and years experience, not to mention stronger mentality. Imo it will be either Zouma/Varane/Stones plus experienced CB and then in few years, maybe we will see two of these three play together.

For third striker, I would rather see we go for some gamble like Pato instead of Falcao tbh.
