Imagine if PL gets cancelled and Pool doesnt win the title 😂😂😂
-
Trent was so cocky the whole game this will be a nice lesson for him😂
-
Its the youth. Obviously it will take at least 2 seasons to have some clue what can be done with this team. People calling for franks head should understand it will take patience and maybe we will have a killer side with plenty of youth.

He will improve our creativity, but Im just waiting for the inevitable pointing that he is not athletic enough, much like Jorginho. I may be realy wrong here, but the board just doesnt get it these days. You need to be a hard worker and dynamic in the first place to succeed in PL, then focus on the qualities. Ziyech can make a pass and he will solve our set pieces but thats about it. Cant defend, doesnt have tacical requirements and lacks athletic abilities. Then again people loved Cesc here for his assists, yet we were never an elite side with him because he was at fault for getting our midfield overrun by any big team, so in a way it might work like that with Ziyech too.
-
Fucking hell if we dont try absolutely everything right now to sign this kid, its going to be a long long way to be elite again. He is a chelsea fan, we need top winger, a top player and Sancho would be indication that we mean business again. If you sign top prospect others will want to join because that shows ambition. We have the money aswell, that shouldnt be a problem at all. We have all the required to sign him which happens on very rare ocassions these days. If people or the club think Ziyech will be enough, thats funny and sad at the same time.

Exactly. The league game against them was the better example to compare. Tonight was a nice win, we kicked them out, we progress in the cup and Gilmour had a cracker but thats about it. Lets see how we do in the upcoming games first. No point for the euphoria. I mean just the Gilmour stuff alone. He is promising no doubt. But everyone is suddenly salivating after a single game. Give the kid some time, more games. He will certainly hit a snag and suddenly people will call him shit after hyping him up in the first place. But whatever keeps people happy or entertained. Just be a little realistic here.

Calm down. We won and it was a strong performance, but Pool played with 50% of their starting 11, they were nowhere at their very best.
-
Im not talking about general passing. Im talking about those suicidal passes straight into opposition which then had a clear shot on goal. He was unreliable as hell.
-
Mate he passed the ball straight into opposition which led to almost a goal at least 4 times in those couple games in a row before he was dropped. You make that mistake here and there (Oblak did it aswell vs pool) but not that many times, like in every game almost. Thats as clear sign he was not right with his mind in the games and thats why he got dropped.
-
We didnt have skilled fullback that would be comfortable on the ball for ages, would gladly take Telles or someone similar.
-
He might become incredible in his early 30s, late 20s, but he had been complete crap this season. All those passes and throws straight into opposition say plenty of how concentrated he is.
-
Pretty much like last season final weeks. We were truly crap but spuds, united, arsenal were even worse.
-
This has been a problem for us for years. Matic could do it at his peak, then there were Hazard and Kante. Rest of the team was never realy comfortable with the ball. Fabregas always shat himself in big games, while we never had defenders that would be very technical in first place. Willian and Costa were decent in attack but still largely unreliable in this aspect. We didnt change that in so many years and incoming Ziyech surely wont change that. He is so thin I wonder how will he cope in PL and CL because he sure isnt athletic/fast either.
-
I just thought what would be if Davies was marking slow Alonso and I laughed for about 2 minutes.
-
He is underrated, but if he played like two months in a row, its very likely fans would want him to be dropped because he isnt good enough in the end.
-
I havent been following PL that much recently aside from Chelsea because Im busy, but if stuff like this is happening every week, Im glad im missing out. This isnt even something "new" to discuss, if you have eyes you see its a foul. I mean sure its easy to talk when you are observer, and when you are actualy THE MAN to decide there is pressure and all, thats why I somehow gave some understanding to all those weird ref decisions in the past. But now you have screens, replays, all angles etc etc. The guy almost broke his foot and the ball wasnt near. Unless you are 5 years old watching footie for the first time or 80 years old with dementia, this is a clear foul. At the very least, there should be concequences. Change of VAR rules, firing the people responsible for stuff like this etc. But it only gets worse. Basicaly VAR didnt make footie more correct, it just gave the officials more power to decide what team benefits from decisions like the one today. Or Zouma goal last week. If that is fucking Real or United, they would obviously have the goal standing.
-
How was that not a red? Can someone explain to me how can you say its not foul for red card after watching that replay twice? How can a person that fucks up something so basic, simple and clear even judge the matches on regular basis? VAR decisions have been crap for a while, but this is next level. Its so clear you dont even have to be a football fan to see this was a clear serious foul. I mean if this shit continues Ill stop watching football. Because this is now deliberate favorising of certain teams or situations that suits them.
-
Why is Tomori not playing in Epl for 2 months now? What bs it that? He is young and needs to play, its not like we have top defence without him and unlike most others, he can actualy impove. Is he injured or sth?
-
In that case we would make about 100m profit.
-
Mbappe, Sancho and now Haaland look to be on course to be next gen best players in the world. Would be incredibly stupid from our club not to try signing Sancho or even Haaland given we have plenty of cash and we need new players in attack
-
The more you see how Ajax deals with transfers, arrival and generaly handles their football stuff reminds you why we started watching football. They are just enjoying in football. I give them so much respect at how they handle everything in todays time when footie lost most of its magic.
-
Haha yeah good memories there. If you get a chance, visit Lagos in Portugal one day 😁
-
Pub crawl on monday evening...fucking legend 😀
-
The one good thing that is certain is that he has strong delivery, freekicks and corners will be quite dangerous again, finaly. Everything else, from tactical and physical side, remains to be seen how he does it in PL.
-
Both have been coasting for two seasons now with a good game here and there.
