Well buying Ibra was stupid. He is 35, he is arrogant as fuck, doesnt realy care for the team and at same time it stopped the progress of Martial who was best outfield united player last season
-
Conte is using cheats. Watching games it looks as if we are playing with 12 players.
-
The formation is pure brilliance. I dont want to praise Conte too much, but damn I havent seen such managing in long long time. From poor team, he picked three new players, rotated a bit and voila. Everyone improved, the weaknesses we had are hidden and we play as team. But IMO the greatest thing was to bring Moses and Alonso to the team instead of Iva and Oscar. Such athleticism and dynamics.
-
I love it we were winning 3:0 and still went for more, for control. No more park the bus. He transformed every single player. Courtois is better, Cahill is better, Matic is miles better, Luiz is reliable, Azpi even further improved, Hazard going world class, Costa going world class, Kante same old brilliant self, Moses and Alonso perfect wingmen for Conte and even Pedro is fantastic. If someone knows man management, its Conte. This formation is life. He literally removed every single liability with formation change. For example Luiz might be suspect alone, but now has two defenders next to him. Moses is not creative enough as winger, but perfect for wingback. Then there is team as whole. That pressing is unbelievable. Opponents face three fullbacks when attacking and three wingers when defending. Every player can switch positions instantly without problem.
-
And the thing is he is not only better in attack, but also in defense. You cant be absolutely top player (even attackers) if you are not willing to defend (because IMO team comes first and you have to contribute to team, not just yourself) And Conte made Eden a player who presses opponents. I love it.

El Cholo was amazing. Even if he misses few chances, he still scores and contributes greatly to the team. Top top striker.
-
Joga Bonitoooooooooooo at Stamford Bridge. Everyone was amazing. Just brilliant. Keep this form after the break too please.
-
The fuck is going on haha. Is this reality? Or is is just a dream?
-
We play like a team. The results show it. Amazing play from everyone and Conte.
-
Not easy match, but we can win it. Hopefuy same lineup as last week and players in good day form. Come on blues

What future? He sold Kdb, thats it. And Luis, but he is not exactly future. Meanwhile he wanted Pogba among others, but the board didnt give him the money. I agree, its good he is gone now, but lets not overblow things. Great Pep got rid of Thiago for Cesc and then Kroos for Thiago. Saf let Pogba go. I think people have short memories and no character these days. If which I doubt, Mou gets back to his best somehow, you same people will talk you wish he was here again... But I guess Mou is not popular anymore and you lot turned to new shinny toys. Like people who buy iphones and dont even know why they buy them.
-
Guys, I know Mou is now a United manager and past his best, very arrogant...but please... Show some fucking class and respect the former blue who was the main reason why we were so successful in past decade.
-
Zouma was very good in defending, young or not. Especially considering the state of team. His distribution is poor i agree. But from defensive point, I saw him as very good, but obviously can improve since he is young. That said, it will be interesting to see him after injury, hopefuly he comes back even better.
-
What you said is very true, but I find it funny when people automaticaly throw Christensen in our next year lineup even tho he hasnt played a single game here in two years. He is a big prospect, but saying we shouldnt look for other CBs because we have Christensen is wrong IMO...I agree we shouldnt look for young defenders, but if lets say Bonucci comes available, it would be stupid to say no because we have Christensen. Im not entirely convinced by him yet, but he deserves chance. However he should get Chalobah treatment, get chances slowly and see how he does. If he shines, it wont be problem to play him, if not we have other options. But it would be stupid to go into next season with Azpi, Cahill, Luiz, Zouma and Christensen IMO. Only reason that might work is because of Conte who would figure it out, but I think if we want to target trophies, thats not enough I think. Just because of last 4 games, it doesnt mean Cahill is world class and will do fine for another year and half. Thats wrong thinking. If anyone deserves to get any kind of chance soon is Zouma who actualy played brilliantly till his injury. To throw Christensen instead of Zouma in that 3 man defense is plain disrespect. No way is Christensen deserving chance more than Zouma and from pure football perspective; Zouma is the better defender than Christensen. Anyway things could change alot in next few months. This season we will see if Luiz can hold it together on consistent level, same with Cahill and how will Zouma react after injury. If everyone plays brilliantly, no way will Christensen get in team next year and if Luiz and Cahill cant remain consistent, we will definately need experienced CB. And about Thuram, we can argue if he was rb or cb whole night haha. He played both roles great, but he was always more CB to me than RB. If I remember correctly, he played CB in monaco, RCB in parma and then RB at juve, but in france he played CB sometimes, RB sometimes. In barca he was CB too, no? Anyway even at RB he was always the one who defended on par for a CB, which is not common for fullbacks.
-
Gomes is that kind of player that is good at many things, but not excelent in anything. And I think he plays in position that demands more. Rakitic is that allround guy and Sergio is DM, but third CM in barca should be creator (which is usualy Iniesta). Gomes is too similar to Ivan. At best he is his backup on bench. I have no idea why barca paid that money for him, because I dont see him first choice unless he massively improves. I never saw him for benfica (or maybe I did, but didnt realy remember it), but in Valencia he was average. He had these good runs with the ball, and decent allround performance, but he was far to inconsitent in anything. Passing, creating etc. Just not decisive at all. Same with Portugal. Far cry from imense IMO. --- Generaly, you have to love all this wankfest about Pep and City again. They lose 4:0, these people hide, then they win and suddenly ''Pep is the best'' is back. They won 3:1 yes, they deserve the credit, but barca had few players out (I realy dont know why they didnt buy proper replacement for Alves, while Gomes and Digne are ok, but not their quality IMO; and their GK is average too). It should be 2:0 for barca, but this is football. Wasnt their day. Instead of 2:0, barca made that mistake which ended with goal for city. At full strength, Barca would probably do it 3:0 easily. Prior to the match, Barca had 9 points and City 5, it was a game of different level than elimination games. I look forward to see Pep in those rounds, where I believe he will get eliminated as soon he faces Real, Barca, Atletico or Bayern. As for De Bruyne, he is great footballer, as I said back in 2014 when he was still here we should never sell him, but I expected a bit more from him realy. He is absolutely fantastic on his day, but he has quite many quiet days when the team struggles alot because of that.
-
Also, we had 4 good games with this pairing. This kind of answer might be proper at the end of the season if those 3 keep up the form. And even then, regardless of how well we do, there is always room for improvement.
-
Why is everyone talking about Christensen like he is the next Thuram? He wont just walk in our first 11 and start performing brilliantly. If anyone expects that, he will be dissapointed come next season. At best, he will get slowly in the team and will have to put good performances for Chelsea. I honestly dont care if he was best player at Monchengladback in bundesliga. Its great he has improved, but I wont get hyped until I see him play well in Chelsea shirt. Honestly, I think he is very good for his age, but he would probably get skinned by stronger, faster or good tecnhical players. He doesnt strike me as reliable CB, hence he likes to keep the ball alot and physicaly, he is no where near the level of what CB should be in PL IMO. He will need damn great tactical atributes to cover up for his physique. Football is evolving yes, but PL is PL. And I would still chose Terry or Vidic over ball playing CBs (JT is actualy very good on the ball, but he is still a no nonsense CB first) everytime.
-
Wow I never thought Puyol was so "small". I knew he wasnt tall either, but thought he is at least 182+... He always looked very big for his size. And had good jump on him. IMO phyisicaly Azpi will never get close to Puyol, but yeah he could develop his defensive awarness even further, making him world class defender (if he isnt already)
-
And who would move to the bench? Pedro? Moses? Alonso? They might not have the creativity, but they are quicker and unlike Cesc, they put pressure on opponents. Unless we go back to worse (which i hope wont happen), I dont see Cesc anywhere near first 11. He had lot of time to improve, but he cant be faster, more agile, more tenacious. Its just not what he is. Creativity alone is simply not enough in PL. He might be able to pull of Pirlo role in italy, but not here. And even then, Pirlo was brilliant under pressure, while Cesc is actualy very very poor. And that makes him weak link. Much like Oscar or current Ivanovic. I hope Conte sticks to this plan of keeping them on bench. They are good to have on bench tho and if they want to help the team, they must accept bench role. If not, they can go because for 1st 11, name is just not enough.
-
Agree, but what three years? Jose second year when we won title and with Didi back, it was still great year. People forget the good things so quickly after some poor results.
-
*Sell him before the value drops even further*
-
Now if someone said that before hull game, I would laugh in his face for hours. Its almost miracle, this.
-
I think we havent played this well since august-october 2014. Great work from Conte in recent weeks. I hope this kind of performances wont be exception but rule.
-
Fantastic goal and he should score at least 2, but how could people say he is off form before he scored that beauty? If you watch football, arguably best striker in world Suarez misses that one on one almost every game. Just watch barca. But obviously they create more chances and hence score more goals. Diego diego diego!
-
For a change I like we have somenone on right side who is 1.) direct 2.) no nonsense 3.) physical beast 4.) keeps the ball well 5.) knows when to pass and when to run By no mean is he world class, but he is strong, intelligent player who can improve further in that wingback role under Conte. At least he doesnt get pushed off the ball like Oscar or wastes time by dribbling air like Willian. I have seen you dislike Azpi many times, now Moses. Perhaps you dont see quality in players unless they do zidane turns and golasos in every game. Btw how can you describe him as ultra limited if he has almost everything in locker? Speed, strenght, can pass or shoot, can dribble, can defend. Maybe he is jack off all trades, master of none, but fuck me, we play much much better and he is one of main reasons for that.
