  1. as much as i would love to have BL come in last (by a big margin), i am voting for him. bluelion is practically the face of TC. this is an incredibly tough one to chose and Steve Jim and Kez would all be deserving winners
  2. aha. the inevitable showdown with capri. i think cap will win it (BUT JUST BECAUSE HE WAS A MONTH EARLY IN JOINING!)
  3. TC regulars know you mean well and never mean to hurt anybody but newbies will take a while to get this and sometimes they take it too personally. Just sayin
  4. justin is indirectly sayin "why always me?" no. seriously, ignore sloth if his posts are concerning you and sloth - reduce the tantrums will you? not the cursing just the tantrums
  5. hehe that is true but he seemed to be doing okay for two-thirds of the season.
  6. make it 5 then. 5 top quality teams though. Arsenal were better than us this season. not by much and they did get lucky on a few occasions but they were better. so u cant say that they wont challenge. they may add 2-3 smart buys like podolski etc and challenge for the league. whereas spurs were challenging for the league and then fell apart later on. they too have a great chance of building on that. And then there is us. newcastle may only be a hope but u never know who may emerge. if they continue in this vein next season (and this is absolutely crucial), they may challenge for the title in 1-2 seasons itself. i agree its unlikely but they did score 65 points this season and proved that it was no fluke i agree liverpool are nowhere near though
  7. yes. fair enough i was merely expressing my concern that people are thinking that great stats in the portuguese league translates to great performances for us
  8. oh boy, u clearly haven't watched van persie this season. he beats gomez by miles tbh anyway, he will trouble our defence but he is not world class
  9. Torres was cuckoo before joining chelsea tbf
  10. now the premier league has 6-7 teams that could challenge for the title. upon that teams like norwich, swansea are making the whole of mid-table progress while the relegation candidates have shown that even they can beat the big boys. u just dont see that throughout all the teams in portugal and that's why i feel u cant judge strikers just on stats from the portuguese league
  11. he may not be MOst overrated but he is overrated. 4 goals this time were in the basel snoozefest where he was literally tapping everything in. i am not tellin gomez sucks or anything but he is not as great as your other attackers who deserve to be a notch higher than gomez
  12. 3-4 teams dont make a league. wigan athletic would give sporting a run for their money. i rest my case
  13. portuguese league wow! (for all those who are already planning to curse me for belittling the portuguese league, i am not sayin portuguese league is bad but the english league is a whole other level in terms of competition)
  14. ‎"I can't believe City won it. We're all absolutely gutted but believe we will be back to win it next year." - Howard Webb
  15. can u elaborate? i haven't watched enough of hulk, except champions league games
  16. I would be interested in knowing your chelsea team of all-time
  17. I dont see how that's funny unless he's a sociopath tbh
  18. ron gourlay has directly commented on this matter. we are taking this very seriously because we had a lot of work to do to get under the limit
  19. if that happens, we will not be allowed into the champions league next season even if we qualify. ffp
  20. i agree. city could go on to dominate but football is a funny little game. u can never say. other teams may emerge or city 's squad problems may finally catch up
  21. As a football fan, i have to say that was a pretty amazing finish to the season http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N7aSBVq8HaU&feature=related
  22. The Moment of the Day Has to be this dont we all love Joey Barton
