United's model was very good. Fergie makes the final call and for the past 20+ years at United, more often than not when their team ran it's course, another set of players were integrated. If Mata to United does actually happen, I imagine that's what's happened here. Jose with the final call

Calm the fuck down. There's no legit source confirming it's a done deal. That guardian article everyone is quoting states both that 40million fee is agreed and that United are yet to make a bid. I really doubt this will actually go through

I really like him. He's also more of Jose's kind of player but would he want to come here at all? He'd much rather go to a club like Everton or Liverpool who are both reasonably big and can give him gametime
