Whether he is better or not I do not know because I have never watched Gabriel in action. But I would really much rather stick to Remy who has a few years experience playing in England as third choice striker than bring in a wonderkid from Brazil, in the summer we have already signed an expensive striker prospect in Batshuayi and with plenty of other areas in need of reinforcing. No I don't think I am crazy.

17 goals in the league, not to mention 11 assists. Hardly a goal threat? His supposed cons can be worked on, really, like holding on to the ball too long in attack, corner kicks. This signing is a no-brainer for me - the Premier League player of the season. Any other summer and this would have been a great signing. Since there are several positions in need of reinforcement this summer, I'd understand if we don't pursue him but as far as having him here goes, it's a definite yes for me.

I think Chelsea should try to get him. He is a really skilful player and he is available in this window but I wouldn't be too disappointed if we missed out on him either.
