Would we continue with a back 3 though? I think signing a Ndidi type midfielder would enable this team to revert to a back 4. Would bring Chilwell and James right back into play.
Sort of the perfect storm brewing. Atleti on the back of a loss, missing few players and losing home advantage
Hope we turn up and compete. Really feel we can edge this especially since Suarez is a good finisher but is no longer the pressing machine he once was
Looks like they are playing a much deeper line today because of all those defeats. But yeah, this defense wont be unlocked by the midfield we have right now. Need a few changes. Lets see if Tuchel is the anti-Lampard and doesn't wait till the 65th minute for changes
Yes I think as good as he is on the ball and with his reading of the game, there is a bigger threat of Christensen challenging for the ball and not winning or simply getting beaten by the attacker. The goal Villa scored at the Bridge for example or the Liverpool game where he took out Mane.
I was in favour of Tomori over both Rudiger and Christensen. Still am but I can understand if Tomori doesn't want to come back to Chelsea.

Shame. He'd be the perfect signing covering both LB and CB positions in one move.
Going back in this thread for names - Nagelsmann, Hassenhuttl, Rodgers, Tuchel, Allegri, Enrique,.
They would get more out of this squad than Lampard but is there someone who can build a winning machine or has the potential to?
Lot of journos saying that as much as people are writing off Lampard, the board will wait before a potential sack. It was only after the city result that the first few pieces about Lampard's job being under threat were out. Its plausible that they give him till Leicester and then take the call when they have had time to figure out their main managerial target.
I think its more to do with the admission that the club will give Lampard more time to turn this and sack him only when things are completely out of hand
