In terms of outgoing centrebacks, I would rather sell Christensen/Rudiger/Zouma depending on the market for them before considering sending out Tomori.
But there is no need for Chelsea to hurry up is there? There is no competition for Havertz this summer and the club can surely take some time to get a better value on the deal now that they know Havertz is keen to move and is pushing Leverkusen to finish negotiations.
My guess is there's no one format for every deal. Each clubs work in their own manner. But yes I'd love it if someone did a detailed piece or podcast explaining this
